Bro i neeeded this vid! Everybody always talkin bout skinline like its basic knowlegde but in fact noone actually takes time to explain them even tho theyr so elementary for a clean fade.
I’m a cosmetologist that had zero experience with fades and now people are asking for them at my job at Supercuts and let me tell you these videos are saving me rn. THANK YOU
Fiiiiire. You’re helping me out so much. The hair school I attended was focused mostly on women’s color - they almost made it seem ‘wrong’ to go any other direction. It wasn’t until I graduated (2 months ago) that I realized I want to specialize in men’s cuts! This left me little room to learn on my own before starting at a men’s salon. I’ve been falling asleep to these vids every night, soaking it all in. God bless you, you’ve taken the complexities out of explaining things and I’m feeling more confident each day. Thanks so much.
I am 30 years old and just got into barbering mostly my kids hair to save money but wow Eddie and his vids are a life saver I didn’t know anything and just watching him has really made me comfortable and wanting to be more than just barber for my kids. Thanks Eddie for all the help your channel is AMAZING

FIRE. Nice Eddie. Loving the special effects and the subtle funnies you are sliding in there like the giraffe for them long neck folks. Great job Eddie. I know this one will help a lot of people out.
Yo boss, I just wanna say, muchas gracias! I’ve learned quite a bit watching your videos. Even though I’m a straight AMATEUR! Litle by little I see my haircuts getting a little better so I know you’ve definitely helped me.
Fire fireworks 💥🔥🔥🔥 real good explanation of what we need to work on and how to talk through what the clients are really looking for before we begin!! Also real good ending to take in consideration of the Barber world shout outs to one of the best in the game S. CraftBlendz!! He’s killing it just as you are Eddie!! Your videos are making leaps and bounds!!
Hey Eddie on people's heads one ear will usually be higher than the other. On low fades I feel like this messes me up because like you said, low guidelines would be above the ear, so my fades end up higher on one side than the other.
Eddie, as usual great video! Can you tell me how to get Fusion blade for Ergos? Unable to find them anywhere for sale. Also, can you do a video on line ups around entire head? Thx u.
Hi Eddie Iam watching your channel and I really like the way you explain the things i have a big problem doing skin fade taper I feel so scary what do you suggest me to do thank you 🙏
I was always taught to raise the line in the back for a high fade, slightly drop the line in the back for mid fade and drop it more for a low fade and drop it really low for a drop fade. Looks like your mid fades dip a little bit in the back as well. Are there multiple ways of doing it or is your way the correct way?
Which of these clippers (disregarding price/cost) would be best for giving myself and family/friends haircuts (fades/tapers mostly) who have fine straight hair? : - Caliber .50 Cal BMG - Mythic - Kiepe Power Up - GAMMA+ Ergo - StyleCraft Ergo - JRL FF 2020C - Wahl 5star SENIOR Cordless - Wahl 5star MAGIC Limited Edition (Black & Gold) - Wahl 5star MAGIC Cordless - Or something else entirely?
Ok so i have been using metal blades for 12 years now i heard u cant do bald fade without a regular clipper so got the babyliss pro fx gold . But now since i have been using the metal blades so long forgot how to use any tips ? I still like the metal blades lol. Have trouble not going to high to get out that line
I started putting my skin line in with my trimmers because it was a b**ch to get out the line when I put it in with my goldfx. I have some octanes I dont use as much as I probably should tbh. Also do you have a conversion chart for the detachable blades -> regular guard lengths?
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy thank you bro last week I start giving myself a fade for the first time and it went a bit wrong hope I can learn more but I don’t want to mess it again for myself. Also I have a question, my shift doesn’t stay open or closes it moves all the time and that ruined for me without noticing, any tips ?
Thanks for the love bro! Appreciate ya and great job explaining everything! Very thorough. 🔥FIRE 😉
