I started hating jessi encamp when he did that Seagal video. Not because i hate Seagal, but because Jessie said he only wanted to get Seagal's martial arts insights and nothing to do with politics, but he let Seagal rant about his political views in that vid. Plus Seagal's low kick defense was just stupid, and they showed it on video.
The problem of Steven is his big ego wich gives him a big mouth.
No martial artist cares about comparing himself with others.
I am sure Bruce Lee never did that and Van Damme or most of the others, not even Chuck will go on with this.
Obviously if you say you can beat someone you will not engage in a fight because of that,Steven was not smart.
Just remember you make a living from my image.
I love it when you keep putting clips “Can I laugh in your face?” 😂
Segal is a joke
It's hard to respect a man like Steven Seagal when he shows so much disrespect towards so many accomplished martial artists
Indeed. I think we all wanted to like him, but he was never an honest or respectable person. He always needed a big slice of humble pie.

In addition, I'd like to hang out with van Damme or Chuck Norris one afternoon. : )
Seagal Aikido works perfectly. In fact any technique works perfectly. It doesn't matter what is the technique. What matters is how much power you gonna put in your technique. Don't forget about the martial artist who showed up at Seagal's dojo for the challenge. Jason DeLucia arrived with the issue of Black Belt in his hand along with his written response, and explained to chief instructor Matsuoka Haruo that he was answering the challenge. For about six months straight he attended every class, morning and evening, watching the Aikido classes while waiting for Seagal to respond. It's ironic that Seagal is the one who wound up affiliated with the UFC when Jason was the one who actually fought in it.
I feel like the UFC was actually making fun of him that entire time instead of show boating his affiliation.
Seagal is in shape nowadays, you know his Round!!!
You mean He.
The shape of a circle
Are you trying to tell us he's well rounded
He's an actor and has done well as such. As a martial artist he's absurd.
Let me clarify what I mean. He's an atrocious actor and worse human being, but he made a lot of money with his rediculous movies.
As a Aikido master? I heard he had 7 or 8 dan degree and he teached in Japan...
Have even watched one of his movies? He's an actor? Yeah right. Done well? Give me a break.
@@HanniSeidenba0525 OK, he is arogant, he is not the best by far, but Seagal is not an actor who learn some martial movement(like Stallone), he is more like Jet Li, or Donnie Yen... I remember the Dirty Dozen. Shortly later came the first Ultimate Fighting Championship. Then later came Royce Gracie's open challenge to Benny Urquidez.
Traditional martial artists condemned all these acts as going against the philosophical principles of the martial arts.
The Gracies were smart to carefully pick their opponents. Dan Inosanto had a student who trained BJJ in the very early days.
The Gracies wouldn't allow him to compete in the early UFC events 😂
Imagine if a JKD guy with kickboxing & BJJ had been allowed to compete? There might be a different story regarding JKD and MMA.
@@GoldenbellTrainingGracie's choose carefully their opponents. Ken Shamrock was not allowed to wear shoes 👟 on the first ufc and floor is slippery as hell. This makes it extremely difficult for the oponent to have stand up fight. And extremely easy for the Gracie to take down their opponents. So Gracies stuck the odds in their favor. But Sakuraba was Gracies hunter. He turned Royce gi against him. So Gracies BJJ methods have no chance vs catch wrestler. Grab lift slam.

Taekwondo founded in 1955
Kyokushin karate founded 1960s/1970s
So they r not ancient arts..
They r derived from them..

MMA is what existed 1000s of years ago
..
Ground fighting has died out in china
Wrestling in china exists to a degree.
Afterall kung fu is striking and grappling
But only the striking is practiced
Not so much tbe grappling and wrestling etc
Modern wushu and
Modern sanda

If you go to the right praying mantis classes or club

Judo and those styles originate from chinese styles.

Most karate katas still exist in specific parts of china
The problem is the actual history of chinese martial arts is not taught or really known in the west
