What a monster.
In the late ‘70s Gene Lebell used to workout in the LACC wrestling room. At the time I played football at LACC. One day in the football offseason and I walked by the wrestling and saw some guys working out. I stopped at the door and started watching. A man who was working out, but also was running the workout, asked me if I played football. I said yes. He asked me if I wanted to work out? I told him I don’t know how to wrestle. He said, no problem, if I worked out with them I would get a much better workout than than I could get just running around. I thought I’d try it.
At the time I didn’t know who Gene Lebell was. But what I do know is it was like trying to wrestle a giant bowling ball when wrestling Mr Lebell. He also took the time to show me how to use the opponent’s force and momentum against him. It turned out to be a couple days of training that was physically challenging but the experience is still with me to this day. He never tried to abuse or embarrass me even though I tried to subdue him. He taught while he was wrestling. Which is much different than an instructor standing aside and teaching. Clearly he was trying to get his own workout by using us.
I realized who I was working out with after seeing him on television sometime later.
Gene was a gentleman and apparently took joy in mentoring. I’m by no means a skilled martial artist. But I learned how to be gracious and generous about sharing what you have with people who are willing to be mentored. I won’t ever forget that experience.

Dude anyone who has made that much of a impact in someones life should and would be proud. Not of themselves for you saying it, but for the fact they helped make a good impact on someones life.

I met Gene Lebell and his stunt crew when I was about 17-18. I didnt know who he was but he was so very nice to me and my friend. He showed us some wrestling moves and choked out my friend. It was voluntary of course. My friend ended up buying a book from him which Gene signed. My exposure to Gene was less than an hour but he impressed me as a class act at the time.

One of my favorites from the 70's and is still alive and kicking literally is Bill Super Foot Wallace. That guy is an old man now, still works out, is fast as hell, and he's still training and helping others years younger than he is. Bill was in a couple of Chuck Norris movies way back then, but as far as being a movie star himself or making his own movies, Bill never wanted or had any desire to be part of that. He has a newer video on you tube called how to fight side ways, were he is showing a much younger black belt guy, and it is really good for how old Bill is now.
Bill Wallace was my mom's teacher in college, and he is a big reason why I became a personal trainer.
@@GoldenbellTraining Good going!! I got see one of Bill's training videos years ago. The man was all in and with the patience to help others learn. At the time I didn't know he had badly hurt his right leg years before then. That guy had the determination to build it back up to support him, then trained his left leg to do everything his right leg used to do. WOW!! One of a kind for sure.
@@Jefferson.69 That's true, Bill was great way back then with the others, but while they were making movies, Bill was doing competition fights, as well as training and helping lots of people back in those days. Nothing was fake about that guy. It's amazing at his age he is still out there helping others when ever he can. Bill could have quit and retired, but didn't.
Bill superfoot Wallace used to train Elvis Presley, Bill had a very bad blood clot in his leg and almost lost it. It was Elvis Presley who paid for the doctors that bill needed so he didn't lose his leg.

I first heard a version of the story in mid to late to 1990 when I was a new LAPD officer. An LAPD supervisor told me the story. He claimed to have worked as security on the set of the movie and told me he had seen it happen. He claimed that Gene LeBell had choked out Seagal twice. He didn’t mention that Seagal had soiled himself so I tend to view that as a later addition to the story.
Some of my training officers around that time told me they had been trained to hold a choke hold on a suspect until the suspect lost control of his bowels. I sometimes wonder if this element got conflated with the Seagal story.
I believe it, most police are thugs. Do you choke someone while telling them not to resist?
The soiled pants part had nothing to do with Gene LeBell feud. That clip was cut from the interview with an ex mob underboss and hitman, Sammy Gravano. He told a story about Seagal working in some movie with real life mobsters which allegedly scared Seagal to that point.
If you were or still are a police officer, you are for sure a Minion of the illuminati, the same ones who control and run all forms of government not only in the US, but around the world as well.

😂😂😂 Hindsight is 20/20 though. He made some good action movies and I liked them back in the day, but as I got older he became readable…I recognized the facade.
You didn't mention Van Damme wanting to fight Seagal at Stallone's house.
Seagal can't admit any of his own faults. He's the male version of Amber Heard.
Seagal: "I only fight to the death. To this day, no donut has gotten the upper hand on me."
Seagal is a Narcissist, just like Turd. However... he is infinitely more valuable in this world. Hes made films worthy of being watched and enjoyed... and hes both a good martial artists, as well as good teacher, from whats been said.
One thing is for certain... JC didnt stand a chance against Seagal... and he was lucky that Seagal fled the scene. JC may be an infinitely better person... but as a Martial Artist... hes very low-level.
And as a Combat martial artist myself... I say the exact same thing, about Fighting. Its one thing if a person asks respectfully for a demonstration, or even a medium level sparring session. But when someone comes at me with a Challenging and disrespectful attitude... I refuse. At that point, its no longer a Sparring match. Its a "Real" fight. In a real fight, there is no telling what the OP might choose to do... and how far they are willing to go. So at that point, I make it perfectly clear... that while I will not fight / spar them... that IF they decided to be so foolish as to openly attack me... then I WILL not hold back. I WILL use Lethal levels of Output.
As it stands, Ive ended up Injuring an MMA fighter more recently... in a demo with him. My arm deflection would not have caused the injury... had he not went outside of our agreed upon "Medium" (safe) levels of power. Instead, he was embarrassed that I was outclassing him... and so he used full power, full speed... with true intent to harm. This caused the impact forces to multiply Greatly.. and it nearly shattered the dudes wristbone / forearm area.
Within less than an hours time, it had swelled up nearly double in size, and he was in great pains for many days to follow. I only used about 10% of what I was capable of delivering. And more than that, and he would have needed a trip to the ER... and this was just a mild "Demo" (My single arm, against his two arms).
There is a reason why JC's career faded out so quickly. He moves were extremely limited, and full of unrealistic Fluff.. like slow motion helicopter kicks, split punches...etc. Where as someone like Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Tony Ja, Michelle Yeoh, and so many others... were FAR beyond what he was capable of. Heck... the Borne movies had superior fight scenes, to anything JC ever put out.
Aikido won't help you in a fight any more than tennis lessons.
@@pinkydavis6113 Seagal mastered more than just Aikido. Firstly, he learned the version of Aikido, that still had the striking in it (Aikijutsu?). He also learned techs and methods from various other arts, including Wing Chun.
He has well conditioned Knuckles, and he has been seen teaching the Top MMA fighters... and making them look like fools, in comparison... when they could barely replicate the simple moves he asked of them.
As a Combat artists of 28 yrs... spanning many different arts, I can tell you that his level of skills are Masterclass. That you dont want to eat a hit from him... let alone, him getting a single arm on you.
Ive also know at least one person that was thrown into jail, for excessive violence... when he used Aikido to defend himself with. Obviously, he took things way too far. There are also, in fact, many bouncers that use Aikido on a regular basis, on the job.
Almost Anything can be effective... so long as it is well Mastered.

That said, there’s a huge body of documented evidence showing Aikido masters getting easily handled by low level combat sports athletes like BJJ blue belts and high school wrestlers. I’m not saying it’s a total waste of time, it’s just not right for fighting. Looks nice in the movies though…
@@pinkydavis6113 Im not upset.. and I didnt learn Aikido. Most of my training is in Wing Chun. Ive also cross trained in all the typical MMA methods: Boxing, Muay Thai, TKD, Karate... as well as some things from rarer arts like Shaolin Longfist, Tai Chi, Wushu moves... and weapons: Nunchaku's, Rope Dart, and the 9 Section Steel whip chain.
I also used to spar and cross train against artists from many different arts, on a regular basis.
As for your statement about videos... it holds no real depth of meaning, nor value.
For one thing... If two fighters fought ONCE... is that enough data to tell whom is the best... vs.. what may have been a fluke?
A real test, would be to pit the same two fighters against each other, 20 to 50 times... and then compare the results. Putting 30 different "unknown quality" fighters against each other "Once" ... isnt good "Proof".
Furthermore, you are still talking about Aikido. Seagal used Aikijutsu... which has Striking still left in it. Modern Aidiko, removed the striking.. because the Master became a Pacifist... and didnt want to teach a combat art anymore.
Then you have the difference between a low quality amateur... vs.. a Masterclass level combat fighter. Just because someone labels themselves as "Masters" does not make them ACTUAL masters.
All three of my former teachers, were knowledgeable, had some skills... but NONE of them were Masterclass level fighters. I.. however, trained longer, harder, and more intensely... and actually reached Masterclass levels of output, on all that I had learned. I long since surpassed all of those teachers, in real world fighting capabilities, output power... and much more.
There are hundreds of amateur Wing Chun dudes being humiliated in sparring matches against low level fighters. But are ALL of WC practitioners that bad? Is the art at that took over 2000 yrs worth of development and testing in actual bloody combat... that Worthless?!
Nope. The fault is with the poor quality practitioners.
Do you know how to spot a masterclass level fighter? I do. Ive only met about 5 of them in my 28 yrs of experience, however. Its rare, because most people are not willing to work hard enough to reach such a level.
Let me give you a mild hint: Find the video of where Seagal was trying to teach Andersen Silva, and the other Karate dude (machita?). When seagul lightly taps Andersen in the shoulder area... he visibly Winces in pain... and he keeps rubbing the injury for many minutes later. Seagal barely touched the dude... Probably only using about 10% on that hit. Had Seagal actually had Ill intent, and used full power, full speed... that dude would have been Toast.
That kind of Masterclass level of Power, does not come from a general practitioner. Its also still very rare to see, in the top Elite competition fighters. Yet Seagal, has it.
Not only that, but compare how Seagal moves... and how poorly these so called "PRO" fighters struggle to match his speed, fluidity, and precision. They look like beginner clowns, compared to him.
Every tech that Seagal throws out, is with Flawless Precision, blinding speed, and with massive power... that only comes from a Masteclass level fighter.
While I cant completely grade Seagal on Aikido.. due to only having limited grappling / anti-grappling experience... I can rate him on his movements, and the results that are visibly clear. Of course, my eyes are trained to be able to spot event the smallest of details... that someone like yourself, is not really aware of.
This is why Olympic judges tend to be former Olympic Athletes... because they can spot things that others do not notice. Such as the subtle angle of an ice skater, when they take off on a spinning jump.
Here is what I tell people... If you really want to know what is effective... find someone reputable, and get a physical demo. If its impressive, study, and fully master it... and then, test these things out for yourself. There is no greater proof. Because making poor blind assumptions, is Never going to lead to the Highest Truths.
For Steven Segal, there's not much hope for him when he can't face up to dealing with his narcissism.
Thats part of the Disorder. It prevents one from thinking, feeling, and reacting, like a normal human being. AFAIK... there is no cure, nor working treatment, for NPD.

It’s interesting because I remember Bas Rutten on Joe Rogans podcast telling a similar story about a fake karate guy saying his way to escape the rear naked choke was to go for the eyes or the balls and Bas told the guy ok but if you go for that while I have you in a rear naked choke I’m going to just tighten down and snap your neck.
To be fair this does work 95% of the time. From standing, if someone wants to rear naked choke from behind you would stomp on their toe with your heal. Shift your hip. Palm knife the crotch, using the other free hand to push the elbow that is by your chin up, make space. Snake out.
Assuming of course you noticed the rear naked choke before it is applied.

I don't know how I missed this video of yours, I thought I'd seen everything you put out. It's nice to find one of these gems that I overlooked somehow, and you're straightforward approach to All Things martial arts top with your philosophy make your Channel top notch.
If you want to know the truth, ask Mario Roberts. He was there for the entire thing. Gene was my Sensei, Mentor and close friend. He told me what happened on that day, but Mario was on the spot and saw it all. From what I heard, Steve Lambert wasn't there for the whole thing, only a part of it. I have been a stuntman my entire adult life and I met Gene when he was 48 and began training at LACC with him and Hayward Nishioka. He was the kindest most giving person you could ever meet. I think of him often and it breaks my heart that he is no longer with us. Steven Seagal is an asshole of epic proportion.
here's what doesn't make sense. How does someone only be there for "part of it". Gene has changed his stories over the years over his various fights with people and so there truth is out there but I don't think anyone will ever agree on how.

Love your videos and I appreciate the style of content you put out. It’s honest, it’s factual and when you don’t know something fully or know that there’s conflicting information along with conflicts of interest between men trading stories about one another and thankfully you’re willing to admit it. As far as it seems from what I’ve seen. And I appreciate the perspectives you bring along with the acknowledgment of different teachings that go along with these unique and shared lessons that are learned throughout the martial arts scene. These experiences have lots of value for the young man who can hear them and for the old bastards who cannot change but only scrunch their face and spew their bitterness and seeds of doubt on a subject or on a person because of their own shortcomings.

Almost all of my Seagal stuff are requests. I actually don't care about him one way or the other.
Years ago when the "Seagal crapping his pants" story was first making the rounds on RUclips, Dan Inosanto's son-in-law, Ron Balicki, posted a rebuttal in various comments sections saying how he’s friends with both men and the fight director who was there for the "incident," and claimed nothing happened. NOTHING. He also said that Gene is very much a professional wrestler in the way he stretches his stories for the sake of effect, and whatever Steven’s reputation for assholery (my words, not Ron’s, lol), the truth is the truth and one person’s rep shouldn’t be built up by erroneously tearing down another’s. Fair enough. Also, a verrry interesting thing discussed in a Kung Fu Genius video came from information provided by Lee historian John Little, who said that all the problems Bruce had with the Green Hornet stunt crew were resolved by the first or certainly the second episode, and that Gene didn’t come aboard until mid-season…hmmm. And as someone who’s looked through more of Bruce’s methodical notes and diaries than just about anyone, John has yet to see a single date or time when Bruce trained with Gene, any reference to Gene’s school, or any details on what he was learning from him…hmmm. Oh, and he said that Gene has described Bruce’s school as smelling of incense and having tatami mats too thin for rolling on, which is why they started practicing at Gene’s school; however, L.A. student Steve Golden told John that Bruce never burned incense, the place had a bare concrete floor, and no one remembers ever seeing Lebell there. One last time…hmmmm.

There is no doubt Gene LeBell knew Bruce Lee, they were both in a 1967 episode of Ironside, Bruce Lee plays Leon Soo, an instructor of a karate school and fights Gene LeBell in a short scene, I'm sure Gene exaggerated how well he knew Bruce, but at least he knew him, unlike Seagal who claims he knew Bruce Lee, when it's obvious he didn't, Gene exaggerated his stories, where as Seagal totally made them up, Seagal is a complete fantasist.

Seagal was born in '52, so unless Bruce was hanging out with teenagers and Steven was knocking boots in middle school or earlier, it's doubtful their kids played together like Steven claims, lol. As for Gene, the question isn't whether he knew Bruce; it's whether he trained him. I'd never questioned he had-I think Dan Inosanto has said Gene is one of the few people who taught Bruce rather than simply exchanged information with him-but I find it curious that Little has never seen a single note on what the two men did together, detailed as Bruce was about recording his training and there being no compelling reason to keep such training "secret." As for Gene running Bruce around the studio in a fireman’s carry, that would’ve been at The Green Hornet’s beginning, not mid-season when he started appearing in episodes, and Van Williams had a lengthy story about he and the fight director resolving the issue of Bruce injuring stuntmen, one that makes much more sense than Gene’s aggressive, public horseplay.

I just started watching your videos and love the message you send out to your viewers. I studied judo and some Akido many years ago and the first thing I was taught was to be humble, sometimes that can really be a test but it always makes you feel better.
Nail on the head John. Martial arts is about humility! My Wing Chun sifu taught me that very valuable lesson when I was in my teens, and it has resonated with me throughout my life and helped me become a better human™. My Instructer told me many things, one thing was never underestimate anybody let them underestimate you meaning walk away walk away walk away untill you or your loved ones are in real danger then anything goes

This is a good break down of how society will respond to lies about people they don't like turning lies into truths by simply telling it over and over and over to where it becomes fashionable to do so. We have seen this type of situation when we were kids about some kid nobody really cared about and some were jealous of.

I met Gene LeBell and asked about this. He had a guy contact me to tell me what happened. He said Gene could not talk about it due to legal matters. A lot of people say "Gene told me about this....." but it was completely different in my experience.
I'm new your channel. You came up in my feed today. I studied Aikido for a couple years back in the 80s because of seeing Seagals movies. After a year or so I started hearing how fake he was. I also realized how ineffective Aikido was in a real conflict.

@@pursuithemi5.7awd81 Karate works in a real fight. Style doesn’t matter. The user does. You probably didn’t train in a good karate dojo. I can point out several that can help you. They aren’t McDojo’s I can promise that.

If you're not sparring for real, you're not gonna learn how to fight for real. Nuff said.
Maybe the problem was you or you had a bad teacher.
Aikido was never developed as a streetfighting style but the techniques are effective if correctly applied.
The founder himself said atemi (striking) is 80% & aikido waza 20% in a real fight.
You can have many blackbelts in whichever art you think is the best but it all boils down how you are deal with a real adversary.
You basically have to out think your opponent im a split second

The movie was "Marked For Death" and I was told this story by friends at Ed Parker Jr.'s gym years ago. I was also at an event at CBS where Seagal's bodyguard challenged Frank Dux and had to be stopped by Chuck Norris. Some people just can't get along.
My teacher was Master Chun Lee former Korean champion in TKD and Hapkido. Very polite and friendly and I worked out with him. He was,always gentle with his students especially women. I remember he was only wearing a white shirt one day working out with us someone came by looking for our teacher. Chun Lee looked very much like just another student.
You would think he would have stood out like a sore thumb wearing only a shirt, but maybe the rest of the class was half naked too?
I used to think Seagal's aikido was legitimately great. Now, I'm skeptical of how good he really was. He must have been pretty good. But he also leveled up by using people, especially the woman he married and then ditched in the most selfish way possible. He got into the movie business by being extremely confident. He is a great example of the original meaning of the word con man-- confidence man.
His original movie really stood out with unusually realistic action. I think he legitimately contributed to martial arts by raising the level of reality in movies.
However, one thing he never has been: A good representative of aikido.
Read the books by the aikido founder. He designed aikido training to be harmonious and to work together with your partner. Most of the time, attacks are barely used. It is assumed that you are mainly only responding to an attack. The founder wrote about aikido as a way of increasing harmony in the world.
You would never get any of that from Seagal's movies. Other than some realistic action, his movies promote the worst ideas in martial arts movies. He must be one of the most selfish and egotistical people in Hollywood and in martial arts. The true heart of aikido flies over his head. He seems to be completely incapable of ever understanding it.
I practiced Aikido for 5 years with an excellent sensei who knew Seagal. In the early days, Seagal was legit...then he went Hollywood and believed his own press. As a philosophy and practice Aikido is an excellent martial art
I've interacted with him a few times, you're not wrong.
Seagal's Aikido is not " regular" Aikido, he throws Wing Chun like punches and he also kicks.

@@ikapatino3214 Yes, but I'm not commenting as much on his fighting technique or style, which I think is quite good. And I think his first movies changed the way hollywood showed hand to hand combat towards a slightly more realistic portrayal.
But my main point is that he is not a good representative of aikido.
It's his attitude and philosophy that is the opposite of the founder of aikido's philosophy. It's his egotism and dangerous narcissism that really undermines himself and aikido and the martial arts community at large.

I think some reasons this story stuck around over the years are that A) Seagal takes himself WAY too seriously, B) he seems like EXACTLY the kind of overconfident narcissist who people WANT TO SEE get insta-karma'd like that, and C) Seagal lies about pretty much everything, so his protestations that it didn't happen like that don't carry much weight.
Ive never understood Aikido but im a Black belt 1st dan/degree Shotokan Karate ive been taught to block blows my friend began Aikido and says you sort of roll away from blows but i do think Steven Seagal is a Good martial artist rumour mongers try to ruin his reputation

I've practised martial arts for 43 years, and I have learnt that you can never stop learning new things and methods of training. The problem with some people and having some knowledge is they think they're unbeatable. But if its one thing I can say is no one is unbeatable, you can be hard to beat but never believe that you are unbeatable .

These Seagal videos are hilarious! I knew Seagal was something of a clown when he started to rock that strange "Eddie Munster" widow's peak thing, LOL. I mean, who does that? Is he deliberately trying to look like Count Dracula? Is he going to eventually put out some crazy lie that he is in fact Dracula, and that he is immortal? LOL
Steven Lamberts story also changes. Some times there are 4 people present, other times 2 buddy guards are present as well and Steven runs to alert the stunt coordinator, other times they just walk away separately. Truth is we will probably never know what really happened.
4 people in addition to Gene & Seagal- 2 bodyguards, Steven & the other stuntman. His story has been consistent in interviews with what is in his book.

Gene LeBell was National Champion on Sports Judo in the '60's and had a dojo on Melrose. He also did the announcing at the Olympic Auditorium. Very skilled, nice guy. Had his day before the big money came into martial arts. I competed in a judo tournament when I was 10 and Gene was there to give an exhibition and promote his book "The Handbook of Judo". He actually watched my match, gave me an evaluation and encouragement and personally signed my copy of his book. To me he was larger than life!
Should meet his #1 student Gokor. He grapples with UFC champions large and small and toys with them on the ground like they are nothing. He is my instructor, but I have not been to CA for many years now and seldom talk to him anymore. Since Gene died, he has stopped communication a lot. I hope he is okay.
This story goes back to the 90’s. My aikido teacher was friends with Lebell he reiterated the story to me then. But it was a bit different. He said Seagal was bragging about a sixth sense, and no one could catch him off guard, so Lebell did a wrestling spin, put him in a choke, and he pissed and shit himself.

Hapkido is Korean - Aikido is Japanese. Hapkido utilizes grappling & kicks. Joint locks Throwing techniques Various closed & open hand strikes
Pressure points Jumping kicks as well
Aikido utilizes empty-hand throwing techniques based on Jujutsu forms.
Joint locking techniques from Jujutsu maneuvers.
Punches & various hand strikes-only in relation to defensive movements.

Really enjoyed this collection of Steven Seagal videos that you've gathered and conducted! I hope there would be more to watch. It's both entertaining and exposing the truth about him.
If I remember correctly, even his own mother came out and debunked some of the things Steven claimed about himself. I think that's far more insane there was no family bias, amongst all other "credibility" he formed around himself. Goes to show just how far he went with his ever-developed narcissism, self-entitlement, know-it-all pseudo-intellectualism. At the end of the day, the takeaway here is that Steven got humbled by the late Gene LeBell, backed up by a legitimate stunt coordinator (R.I.P.), and since then he never improved his character.

Viking Samurai already did a number of videos about this subject, including interviewing the actual stuntmen who were on set of Out for Justice, when the incident occured. Nobody got choked out, and what resulted was two martial artists with great skill and big egos trading some techniques which turned into a brief impromptu sparring match. Where egos got more bruised afterwards. Hence the embellishment and lying that occurred with both parties involved.

No one alive is undefeated. Even those who are, will see defeat when they least expect it.
I cant count the many times I got my bell rung. The only thing I ever had going for me was shear stubborn consistency. Never with close friends, mainly with those that were in the wrong in some way or had done something very wrong to a good person. More often then not, we would bump into each other again. Sometimes it would be the latter that night or even later that month and/or year. I did not always do better the second time around. But one thing for sure, I at least made it very discouraging to think that Karma can be bypassed.
I just hope more folks out there that want to defend a certain person, who may not be all that, really peep game.
Some are still dedicated to defending those who only care about themselves.
If you stand for something or someone, you should know exactly what or who you are standing up for.
We can be a nation of many more good strong men if we all strive to improve in some way.
We all know there is two sides to every story. One side is only half true or half false, its our job to find out before we react
in a partisan fashion.

I work for Warner Bros. from 87- 96. I don’t remember the exact date of the Gene lebell incident , but I was among the sixty people to learn about this incident the day it happen. When this happen Michael Orvitz called Steve Ross to bitch about what happen and control the narrative. I delivered the legal papers concerning the event. Gene lebell wasn’t mention by name in the papers but I guest it was him by the description given in the memo. There was no mention of poop in the memo but it did say Seagal was choked out. I was 26 when this happen and I was intensely studying Seido karate in NYC. I also was a fan of movie fight choreography.
Seagal was big business for Warner bros. back then. For a time he rival Arnold Schwarzenegger box office numbers. So warners stop that story from getting out. Only actors involved knew what happen and corporate knew what happened. I told my training buddies what happen so some east coast martial artist knew what happen. This story was dead until about 2008. That’s when certain mags hinted at the story and Seagal was out of warners. I’ve alway admired Seagal martial powers and that’s it. Being a street kid I knew he was full of shit. Seagal is a tall man about 6’5 “ I’m 6’3” and he was taller than me when I attended marked for death premiere. Walk past him and I was surprise he was taller than me.
LeBell is a liar and therefore a disgrace for the martial arts community. I knew instantly knew that the story (choking out) was not true because everybody has bodyguards, especially Seagal. Conrad Palmisano who was the stunt coordinator of "Marked for Death" said that nothing happened. Steven Lambert also said that nothing happened (choke out) and keep in mind that Lambert is a dear friend of LeBell and not of Seagal. He´s no reason to lie.
Plenty of East Coast martial artists have trained directly with him (including BJJ/Judo black belts) and they've said he's 100 percent the real deal. Ask Razor Rey Garcia (Judoka, BJJ, Karate champ, former LEO) or former UFC champ Ricco Rodriguez.
I know you "heard" of things in the complaint, but that is NOT the same thing as actually being there on the set where it happened. It occurred on the set of Marked for Death, and the only real witnesses were Steven Lambert, Lincoln Simonds, two of Seagal's bodyguards, and Conrad Palmisano approx 30 feet away watching them. That's it. Anyone else claiming they "heard" this or that is nonsense hearsay.
Steven Lambert has no reason to lie about this, as he doesn't work for Warner, nor is he friendly with Seagal. Conrad's personal account also corroborates most of the info given by Lambert as well.

I witness a lot of entertainment history. I worked at their offices at 75 Rockefeller plaza , 1325 six ave and the grace building. Every body on that set were told if that story got out they would never work again. Back then Orvitz , Steve Ross and Michael Eisner were the most powerful men in entertainment. Steve Ross was the one the most powerful ,coolest and charming man I ever met. Everybody from Eastwood , Spielberg to Springsteen called him boss. Nobody defied him. But like I said , that tussle went down and New York was called and orders and threats were made and I witness Orvitz anger over it.
