I remember the first time I went to "The Rock" when driving across the island from Port aux Basques to the Conception Bay North area where my family roots are we saw all these folks camping in the gravel pits along the Trans Canada. '' It took Buddy and the Fellers to explain it.
i live in stephenville crossing on the west coast my dad was a grandy but not from here halifax but he forefarthers are from grandy river and fortune bay i think he ended up here after his parents were killed in the halifax explosion and he was adopted to a family in st georges he went by ryan when he was a boy but when he turned 21 he took his real name grandy back
