- Heading Into this adventure i didn't know what to expect. I was invited to a gold claim to see how it all works, dig for some gold and they took up high into the Northern British Columbia Mountains.
My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

What a great bunch you met up with! You mentioned Foresty and his hiking to the summits - he also rides an ebike t get partway at times. That might be something to get you further out, but still not have to pull a trailer, or have the potential of bush breakdowns.

We drove up the Cassiar, was in Watson Lake this morning until about noon. Then we headed up the Robert Campbell highway. 580+ km of which 60% is gravel.. imagine a gravel highway! Welcome to Yukon. We are currently in Faroe, in the morning we play golf where the golf course winds through the downtown!
Then off to Carmacks and then Dawson City. Come join us on an adventure of a lifetime! After Dawson, we are headed to the Arctic Ocean at TUKTOYUKTUK.

All I can say is....EPIC, FUN DAY, Chrome!!! Thanks for sharing it all with us.
Highly recommend getting a SXS. Way more stable, way more storage, easier to ride and travel. Cruz can have the passenger seat. We have both. We use the SXS 99% of the time.
Not as much fun.
While I prefer and own a quad, I think Chrome would be better off with a SXS just because he doesn't do trail rides. He bums around on back roads. You can trail ride with a SXS or bomb dirt roads on a quad, but it's better the other way around.
@@Franko457 I actually have more fun in SXS. But that because I can get into places that be a little crazy on Quad. I love quad still. But for him I think SXS would be the way to go.
