Yes, I agree, Avi is saying make the change in any way that means to you! It's a proverbial battle song. By the way, all vocals are Avi and that heavy bass and booms are all Avi! The only instrumentation is the organ and tambourine at the bridge.
Looking forward to more Avi. For something completely different try When I'm a Fool live at sunset sound for a jam session. Or if you need to reset your brain from battling the world, Otherside, is otherworldly.

Watching reactors hear this for the first time, that first line of vocals...it never gets old! Jaws drop, eyes get round, eyebrows try to climb into your hairline...i love it. So glad you're enjoying Avi!

Avi!!! This is totally his battle song ! His voice just grabs my soul.
I loved this. Feels like in a lot of ways that currently this is the theme song for my life.
So Sarge, you have now heard Avi's most recent release ('Healing') and this, his first release after leaving PTX. All you have to so now is listen to the rest! 'Get Down' is another stomper, 'When I'm a Fool' Live at Sunset Sound will have you chair dancing, 'All is Well' 7Layers Session is a beautiful combination of setting, song and acoustics and if you go back a little to 'Quarter Past Four' released as Avriel and the Sequoias when Avi was still with PTX, or 'Otherside' you will find a songs to make you want to take up meditation. He's only recorded a couple of covers - 'Hey Yah' and 'Lean On Me'. Both really good.

Get down has a similar vibe/tone. Chains is dark and moody (check the original low version). I’m only Getting Started (official vevo version is my favorite version) is kind of a follow up to Change.

I love Avi!!! What I love most is that he is not in any box there is such a variety. But one thing I can say no matter the song Avi has a way of touching one soul. Hope you keep them coming. Some of my favorites are It knows me, Full moon,and Song for the thankful.

This is his battle to come back to life.
He was very worn, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Touring with PTX wore him out and his mother was having a relapse of cancer.
The touring and recording with PTX did not afford for him to take time to be with his family, (parents and siblings. Many fans totally rejected him when he lift PTX. They were angry with him.
PTX wore him out even more with law suites, which no longer allowed him to perform his own music he had written while with them, and not allowing him to use his own given name in recording for 3 years.
After a time with his family, camping for a couple of months and visiting his brother in Israel, he retreated to his cabin deep in the forests and mountains of Tennessee. He set out to overcome all of the mess
he needed to overcome. He became a warrior, writing songs to bring him peace and bring him back to life.
He succeeded in his fight and is strong again. Never a social animal, but able to be around people more an more. He still prefers the seclusion of his 1000 acres his cabin sits on, which is where he writes most of his music.
His goal in writing is to bring light to those who follow him.

@@mariawilliams4941 I suggested collabs with Taylor & Simon a couple of years ago on the official fan page. I also messaged Fantasy Records. Perhaps someday it will happen. We can only hope.

Im only getting started is a other song of Avis that gets me pumped.
This song has also been featured on a few television shows. It feels like a call to change, an anthem. Love it and Avi's fans really enjoy singing this one with him while performing it live in concert. Great reaction. Thanks!!!
And Avi of course loves to hear the audience singing along to his creation. I caught some of that in my video of "Change" from his 7/12/2019 show in San Francisco. It had the venue jumping.

@@mariawilliams4941 Having been to 5 of Avi's concerts (3 in 2019 an 2 in 2022), I can attest to that. The audience typically sings along for the entire song, and they sing along in others like "Quarter Past Four".

WOW, really loved your reaction, this song will stay in your head all day, he has certainly grown from his PTX days it had to happen (on both sides) there’s so much more to hear, for a long time he was so underrated, in fact I think Healing has woken quite a few people up to him as a person and his beautiful voice, I hope to hear more AVI, as it’s the Christmas season I recommend O Holy Night, it’s a live version 💜💜

Your Avi reaction brought me to your channel, but your energy got me to sub. I have watched several of your other reactions, and while some people technically pull apart music, which I like too, you go with how the music makes you feel, which ultimately is why we all listen to music. Keep those Avi reactions coming, and can I recommend First place I Go, I'll get By, Only Getting Started, and any of the live sessions from either Sunset Sound or 7 Layers Session. (you can't go wrong with any of the songs) Just listen to anything Avi throws down. I honestly don't think he has a song that I don't thoroughly enjoy. Great reaction!
