I had the Zechus to be in a Chaburah with Rav Elimelech Bluth , Reb Moshe’s driver and Shomer from 59-80 and I was able to attain glimpses into Reb Moshe’s gladlus, without the hyperbole of an Artscroll Biography. 30-40 years after The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Reb Moshe and The Rav it’s clear as day how badly klal Yirael needs such leaders now more than ever both in Galus and Eretz Yisrael.
I’m blown away that there aren’t 100s of these as tapes sit in YU library uptown....Giving me reshimos, or philosophical lectures transcribed or from notes that create a tedium. When talking yidishkeit to yidden, there is no Baal Hesber, that I’ve heard or read in my lifetime....If Kibud and yirah applies to one’s Rebbi as much as ones parents...generations of Talmidim can still redeem themselves by posting Torah shbeal peh and the Rav’s Mesorah from the Rav himself. Where is the Eimah?
