    So cool you got to convoy for two months! I love how you show the clips of just hanging out by the fire. Washington is gorgeous.
    Every time I’m in Seattle I find something new to explore. Haven’t been through there in years though. I also haven’t been to the top of the space needle either. The pop culture center is really cool to see if your a big music fan.

    Love that you got to travel with the Moss Family and we see from their channel you got to meet up again. The girls are so good with Hensley and JJ! If you can think of any one in the Portland, ME area who does RV inspections, let us know. We're seriously considering a fifth wheel at a dealership in Windham, but hate to drive nearly 1000 miles there with our trade in to find the unit isn't up to snuff.

      That is scary. Our girls haven’t done that to us yet. I on the other hand have done that to my parents when I was about 10 . We were up in Maine and I led a group of about 6 kids from three different families on a quick little hike on a loop trail . Well, we got lost..... we finally made it back just as it was getting dark, probably gone 4 hrs. When we got back there was about 30 people from search and rescue mobilizing and a some pretty upset parents. I said “dad I had it under control, see, no one got hurt and we’re back” 😂

    for the TAR... i was told to use WD-40.. its suppose to take it off super easy.. we took a trip up to Leavenworth, Wa and hit a fresh patch of road construction in the new F350.. good thing its black... lol. How difficult was your method?

      Focused on the Road WD will work, yes, but that would have been a lot of WD and made a huge mess in our friends yard. The prep pads are super quick and take everything else that is bonded to the paint as well. The paint is butter smooth after and ready for a polish and sealant. There’s a ton of ways to do the same thing when it comes to detailing, this method has worked well for me and my process for several hundred cars/trucks. There’s always bug and tar removers that work well also ( I actually used some on the front of the RV this time) next time you wash your truck and it’s dry run your hand down the side of it , it shouldn’t feel rough at all, it will be worse behind the tires .

    Definitely should be using elevation to freeze hardest poss manageable blocks driest ice that can be quickly conveyed best way poss down then put in walk in freezers or ice storage places. They can on site cut the manageable blocks 40lbs in pre creased 1/2 size that fits into any cooler. What better way to use elevation & cheap science hardest freeze to ease heating loads esp vegas type climates.

    WD-40 disolves tar without having to use anything abrasive.

    • @FindingOurSomeday
      @FindingOurSomeday  5 лет назад +1

      It does ( as well as a few other things) but you still have to “rub” it off, that’s where the marring comes in. I took the opportunity to take not only the tar but anything else that could have adhered to the paint. Anyway, you’re right though, WD does work.

    What is interesting about this channel is that you are around 6 months behind real time and it leaves this feeling that everyone else has progressed and we are seeing repeats Many channels are like this as well to spread content around. Not my preference. Of course next year, all the content remains to be dateless part of your library. What you think?

    • @FindingOurSomeday
      @FindingOurSomeday  5 лет назад +2

      Andrew Zenn I hate being behind! It makes everything harder! I care more about a timeline at this point. I want someone (us in the future) watching to see the entire journey. A complete story..... I have plans to skip a majority of things and get caught up though, but that won’t be for about 3 more episodes. your chevy rear axle had to be replaced at 97k miles crazy chevy quality but u could hve upgraded for taller axle ratio greater power & braking too, Might want to try changing gear oil at 50-60k if full time towing to heavier synthetic gear oil, bc satanic soon dead chevy my world terms.

    WD40 works wonder on removing road tar.....try it see what you think!

      SouPac Engineer It does ( as well as a few other things) but you still have to “rub” it off, that’s where the marring comes in. I took the opportunity to take not only the tar but anything else that could have adhered to the paint. Anyway, you’re right though, WD does work. 👍

      @@FindingOurSomeday ... I remember as a kid packing up and leaving a campground you have been in for a week or two and saying goodbye to people you met there.😥

      Dale Lewis there are definitely places we have been really bummed to leave, but it has been great to be able to go back to some favorites in our 2nd year of full-timing!

      CONTACT JOY thanks! Since I owned an auto detail shop for over 10 years before we hit the road, we get questions about how I handle washing the truck and rig. Glad that didn’t turn you off to the rest of the video! Really appreciate your kind words. Thanks for watching!
