- It still hot in September in Florida in our Garden. I show you what is blooming and many things are still pretty with flowers. Still in the 90s, and we are ready for some cooler weather. We have many plants great for zone 9a where we live here in central Florida. I take you around our garden and show you the progress. Hi Jeff and Angela, I had to watch this a few days later. Brings back such nice memories of my late Dad's yard in Sarasota when he retired in 1990. Gone now, but wow, so many parts of your yard remind me of him. TY buddy

My husband has given up on our garden at one time I had 25 different Roses and Lillies in abundance now I have brown brushes and WEEDS IT IS VERY SAD NETFLIX HAS TAKEN MY GARDEN AWAY that is why I sew to take my mind to niceness sometimes I do a good job at it then I see someone else garden which is full of goodness Thanks for the walk around and see the beauty

Elizabeth, you can do it! My husband has never, ever taken an interest in flowers. I start in February where I live, before the heat. I am nearly 70 with some bad back problems. I hired a teenager a couple of weekends to help me weed and mulch, lift the heavy pieces. I “downsized” just to give me a place to sit. And I made a fairy garden of figurines that don’t need any maintenance. That is the key, no maintenance. I wish I could sew and make beautiful items like you! ❤️
@@treshamassey804 I would rather be sewing and crafting to be happy all that I put there is now gone there is a 1/4 acre of dried brush I keep myself busy inside outside is to sad oh well back to my sewing order Have a good day
Its easy to give up ! Some of the success is the pots ! That can keep moisture in longer.... sealed pots on the inside ! Happy week

It’s always interesting to visit your garden, as it is so different from mine in zone 5. It all looks so lovely! We are going to have a few more days that will hit 90. I’m ready to put that heat behind us! My garden started out well but then we had the heat and the drought. I do have an autumn clematis that is going crazy and I recently read that they can be invasive. No wonder! 😂😂😂. I have a couple of rose bushes I need to plant today. There’s always hope for better results nest year, right? 😉. Thanks for the tour and stay cool! 🍂🍁🍃

Jeff How wonderful to have this pop up on my feed this Monday morning. I’m behind on videos as usual but I had to watch this with my coffee. Your garden looks wonderful even with all heat. I’m always so envious of the beautiful plants you can grow as a perennial. It won’t be long until I have to start bringing plants into the house and garage. Jeff, I loved seeing your beautiful flowers. The south Mississippi drought killed all but my potted begonias this year. But, there is always hope for next year! I am so happy for my “fairy garden”. All my little figurines still look sweet and make me smile 😃! And they require NO WATER!!

Great variety and beautiful. Must of kept you busy with the heat. Last year i planted a yellow hybred rose bush and watered it with rain water we captured off the porch roof. It grew to size of a dinner plate and the fragrance filled the whole kitchen and dining room best ive ever done. Beautiful yard Jeff and Angela🌺👍🌸🌸😄

Your videos are therapy to my soul. Going through a lot. Our beautiful son (he loved plants too) died in January of colon cancer and now my husband had half of his colon taken out and has 4th stage. We believe in miracles though as he was healed in 2015 of 4th stage lymphoma after given 2 months to live. You can see why I enjoy relaxing with one of your videos. Very beautiful garden! I've been ripping out my veggie garden and had tomatoes rolling out of the back of the truck as I took the clippings to the shrubbery dump. LOL My roses are blooming like crazy now. I think they like the cooler weather. We're staying in the upper 70's now for the highs.

Really stunning; so much variety! But variety is the spice of life, which you prove with every video! I have some of the same plants here in PA, unfortunately many are annuals here and die at this time, but off to the garden center in spring to replace, especially the vincas. You are a collector and master of so many things, your take on home and garden is superb! 😊

Jeff, I don’t know much about hit climate gardening - do you have to replace some of the plants that die off - or when one plant dies you have another behind the dead one that comes forward and blooms. I have been in Miami and Sanibel Islands and there were all kinds of blooming flowers during your winter.🎃
Yes ours can bloom all year ...but were not southern Florida that is another 2 zones south ! If we get a freeze here in central Florida ....most flowers at gone .
