I broke down and bought a corded electric weed wacker and it's 2x as good as a gas one. I store it outside in a plastic box all winter and it never gives me crap, plenty of power for light duty. Save the hydrocarbons for the fun stuff.
This is my second year owning this blower. It’s incredibly great for blowing all season including light snow. I’m stuck in this brand. Two XC 8 batteries, HD 12.0 with Quik lok system.
Awesome video. If I wanted to buy a standalone fan + motor (is this called an EDF?) with similar specs to this, is that possible? Can you recommend anything?
Without knowing more, I’d say your best bet is to buy a broken Milwaukee (or any other brand really) on eBay to use for parts. I doubt Milwaukee will sell those parts at a reasonable price.
One comment, you aren't completely bound to the Milwaukee battery system if you are truly willing to tread where official tool manufactures rarely dare to enter.... The world of battery adapters. I'm absolutely certain you can get adapters to go from this to anything you want from DeWalt to Kobalt and Black & Decker. There are also things you might want to experiment with.... I knew a feller at one point who would Frankenstein tools by taking the handle off of one tool and grafting it onto another tool (full blown chopping off and attaching on), for example he would take a DeWalt 20v drill handle and graft it onto a Black & Decker 18v drill to replace the handle from that. It'll work with no issue since it's just a two volt difference and shouldn't hurt the motor.
Besides the technical aspect, this is one of the funniest videos that I've seen in a long time! Thank you!

You can get a way with using a 5.0 the smallest I would use I usually use a xc 6.0 or bigger love the blower works great
Thumbs up and extra points for using "vestigial" in a tool video! 😅😅😅
Awesome vid!
Wow $20/g is so cheap! Here in Canada it’s $12 per LITER!
Omg my to do list gets adds after the fact all the time. I’m not the only mental case
😂😂😂 Ol peg in that one!
