    Milwaukee M18 FUEL Blower 3017-20: A Powerful and Quiet Solution for Taming Your Lawn
    Conquer fallen leaves, grass clippings, and other debris with the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Blower 3017-20. This cordless powerhouse is designed for landscape professionals and serious DIYers who demand exceptional performance without the hassle of gas.
    In this comprehensive blog post, we'll explore the key features and benefits of the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Blower 3017-20, helping you decide if it's the right blower for your needs.
    Clearing Power and Performance:
    Leave Gas-Powered Blowers in the Dust: The M18 FUEL Blower boasts a POWERSTATE brushless motor that generates a forceful air stream of 500 CFM and 120 MPH, capable of tackling even stubborn debris piles.
    Unmatched Speed and Efficiency: Unlike gas-powered blowers that require cumbersome pull starts, the M18 FUEL Blower reaches full throttle in under one second, thanks to its electronic controls. This allows you to get to work quickly and efficiently.
    Peace and Quiet on the Job:
    Silence the Roar: One of the most significant advantages of the M18 FUEL Blower is its remarkably low noise level of only 54 dB(A). This makes it significantly quieter than traditional gas-powered blowers, allowing you to work comfortably and avoid disturbing neighbors.
    Comply with Noise Regulations: Many areas have noise ordinances restricting the use of gas-powered blowers during certain times of day. The M18 FUEL Blower's quiet operation ensures you can comply with these regulations and avoid getting fined.
    Convenience and User-Friendly Design:
    Cordless Freedom: Say goodbye to extension cords and gas cans. The M18 FUEL Blower is powered by Milwaukee's M18 battery system, offering exceptional portability and freedom of movement. This is especially beneficial for cleaning up large yards or navigating around obstacles.
    Variable Speed Control: Tailor the air flow to the task at hand with the variable speed trigger. Use the high setting for clearing out heavy debris, and the lower setting for delicate areas or extended use.
    Lightweight and Ergonomic Design: The M18 FUEL Blower is well-balanced and lightweight, reducing arm fatigue during prolonged use.
    M18 FUEL System Compatibility:
    One System, Endless Possibilities: The M18 FUEL Blower is part of the expansive Milwaukee M18 system, which includes over 250+ tools. With a single M18 battery, you can power a wide range of tools, saving you money and increasing your efficiency.
    Is the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Blower 3017-20 Right for You?
    This cordless blower is a great choice for homeowners with medium to large yards, landscape professionals, and anyone who appreciates a quiet and powerful tool.
    Here are some additional factors to consider:
    - Price: The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Blower 3017-20 typically costs between $179.00 (bare tool only) and $350.00 (with batteries and charger), depending on the retailer. While the initial investment may be higher than a basic electric blower, the versatility of the M18 battery system and the extended lifespan of brushless motors can offset the cost over time.
    - Battery Life: The runtime of the M18 FUEL Blower will depend on the capacity of the M18 battery you use and the operating speed. Higher capacity batteries (Ah) will provide longer runtime. If you have a large yard, you may want to consider purchasing additional batteries.
    Overall, the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Blower 3017-20 is a premium cordless blower that offers exceptional performance, unmatched noise reduction, and the convenience of the M18 battery system. If you're looking for a powerful, quiet, and versatile blower to tackle your toughest yard work, the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Blower 3017-20 is a perfect choice.

    I have the old model and it is my favorite Milwaukee power tool. I aslo have the ego 650 and still like the Milwaukee better because of way faster ramp time and lighter weight. For normal mowing the lawn i found i dont need the bigger higher cfm ego. This new model being quiter fixes the one problem i dont like about the older model. Will definitely get it once my old stops working.

    i have use them all from milwaukee single to dual batteries and both yellow
    i have to say i love ego 765 cfm the best, much quieter and more control, the dial switch just get knock on easily or else very refine and a lot of power without using the turbo button
    Milwaukee dual batteries is the worse, the switch is not refine at all
    got to try this new one to see how quiet like Brian said
    yellow doesn’t move much
    i use it to blow water off driveway to test them

    You mention that it’s not a big difference in power (50cfm) but from an eye test can you see a difference at all? Use case for me is blowing small section of driveway in front of garage during the fall, the faster I can get it done the better!

    Whats crazy is the ridgid and ryobi versions, which have identical specs, are also near identical in price. TTI sometimes has notable differences between their brand's, but this one was a huge cop/paste job. The ridgid and ryobi even have the same plastic housing, just different colors and batteries

    I find I require 600-650 CFM minimum. The efficiency of moving debris drastically falls off under the 600 level, and I end up chasing debris with the end of the tube. But for small jobs, that noise is a winner. And the trigger system does look perfect.

    • @Walkop
      @Walkop 5 дней назад

      CFM and windspeed both important. The Dual Battery Blower is only a bit more CFM, but the extra 20MPH is very, very noticable. The power difference feels crazy in the real world.

    Debating between this and the quik lok blower attachment option, what are your thoughts on which is better? Is one more powerful than the other?

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  2 месяца назад +1

      Both are similar. To me it comes down to what you use the blower for. Do you want to disconnect an attachment and connect the blower for each small job or each time you want to use it? I use my blower too often.

    Once youve owned a gas powered backpack blower, anything electric is garbage.
    Been rocking ny Stihl Br600 for years and the only reason id upgrade is because the new Br800 can be started with it still on your back.

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  3 месяца назад +3

      I disagree. I own a Stihl BR800X. In fact you can see the review on this channel. BUT, I never use my backpack blower to blow out our show or dust off the tractors after working. The battery operated blowers are perfect for that and are much easier to get in just the right place. I also own a Stihl BG86 gas blower and I still use the battery blowers at work.

      @DJR5280 voltage. Would you compare a ford Maverick to a Ford f250 and say buy whatever is less expensive. The EGO might be the better buy, but you are comparing an 18 volt blower to a 56 volt.
