I got a Worx corded blower for $60. It puts out 600CFM and found a stubby nozzle for it on Amazon for $30, and then paid $10 for a 50 ft extension cord. That's just $100 and it punches more air than most of the cordless ones in the test. I wash my car right in front of my garage so the cord part just isn't an issue for me since I don't have leaves either. That Ego set up is awesome, green and all Doom Eternal BFG 9000 looking, but I'll see how this Worx does first for 25% of the cost all in. Great video!
If you're comparing 56V Ego, a 40V Ryobi, and Milwaukee's Fuel line (highest tier) blower, why would you not use Makita's 40V XGT model or at the very least the 2x18V model to make it a fair comparison? The 40V Makita leaf blower is a beast.
This video inspired me (and my wife) to wash our cars on this beautiful day and to my amazement my leaf blower did a great job drying the car! It's funny that I never thought to use it for that purpose before watching this video. I didn't use an Ego which I know would have dried the car much faster but hopefully in the future I will have all Ego tools for my yard and car.Thank you for this awesome video!
The stubby nozzles aren't even needed if you have a ceramic coating with good hydrophobics. Just take the factory nozzle off and use it that way. The stubby nozzles enhanced air speed will come in handy for vehicles that aren't coated though.
@@Kitearmy I use the old 1st gen EGO 480 cfm blower at half throttle with no nozzle and the water almost jumps off my paint. That is with 2 coats of ceramic coating though.
Missing the Greenworks 80v 170mph 730cfm. 😁 Trying to find the stubby nozzle for my Greenworks. It has been solid for me for almost 2 years now. I get you can't possibly test every model though! Great video
I would consider purchasing the stubby nozzle if it came with a flat-end attachment. I have such an attachment on my Worx and it moves water better as it hits more surface area. The only drawback is that the Worx is a little less powered. Maybe consider a flat nozzle and see how much better it will move water on a car's surface.
I'm not a Ryobi fanboy but I have that blower and not only is it powerful, it's also surprisingly quite. It will perform better with a larger Ah battery.

Would using a blower to blow sand and dust from a car (without washing the car) damage it’s paint? As I live in a desert like area where sand and dust accumulate over cars all the time.
One problem we are working on is gravel on bike lanes and bike/ped side paths along roadways. It would be great if you could provide some info on possible use of blowers for this type of “sweeping” use, as well as any specialized nozzles, remote controls, etc. that might be of assistance in such use.

This test doesn't work. You're taking the whole blower concept literally. This is not a hair dryer. Having the blowers close to each other like that sharing air speed is the wrong way to test them. You have to do one at a time.
Been using my eblower for years to dry my car/bike/snow blowing.. You dont need the stubby nose as I've never hit my car or bike with the stock tube. Waste of money.

Dumb test. Other factors to consider is weight, size, noise, etc. Also when drying a car, realize a lot of water droplets are blown off, not necessarily drying. This test basically you might as well go with the spec of the blowers.
There are better ways to test these blowers than yo have them all on at the same time blowing the same thing. Test should of been don individually and then compared at the end.
I love watching Kite Army, thank you for your hard work Andrew!

Larger amp, power batteries do not add power just extend runtime

So hard to compare when one is dry - to subjective!
I believe that is the Ryobi 600cfm not the 730cfm because of the black rear the 730cfm has black with Ryobi green

You tested Ego and Ryobi's top-of-the-line blower, but not Milwaukee's. Why?
Because the Milwaukee is trash. Period

None of those are car blowers. The air is not filtered so you throw dust back on the car.
