i used this to cut a bearing housing off my toyota truck. took a bit of time but it did it. only used around 4 discs that was with the kit. absolutely killed it. got it for 9.99 in harbor freight.
Used one for years at work. Was fantastic for cleaning coatings off of circuit traces to add a wire or jumper and with the proper cutting bit could sever a trace without damaging the circuit card underneath. Always needed to do such things in an engineering lab.
Just assuming outer connection on connector is going to be negative is a recipe for disaster. At 3:23 there's a marking right of the UL one showing which connection is positive.
@@Psyden5757 for some reason I mixed the two up. Thought it was positive outside even though I wrote the other way. Exactly because 98% is wired that way.
That thing is a piece, i have one and did a video about it. Just like on yours everyone complained that I put it down. God forbid you talk crap about a harbor freight tool. Yeah its cheap I get that and that's fine, but even running it at 17 volts I could stop the bit with my finger. Bout the only thing its good for is giving it to your kid as their first dremel. Doesn't even have enough power to break skin. BTW if you take it apart, its just a bare motor, no gearing..... so that's why it has no torque.
Good use for that tool. I have one, but I will put on smaller clamps when I modify mine. It will take up less space, and it would be less likely to break off from the weight of the clamp. I am your new subscriber!
For 7 bucks its good price for small project. I'm a radio control modeler I build planes helicopter drones. I use this a lot having had no issue. Patience and right grinder and such makes it worth it. I have it hook up to a computer power supply :)
Got one of these years and years ago for $10. It is all but useless for anything substantial, but I keep it around because it's great for polishing things like feed ramps and chambers. Even the odd bit of jewelry
😊 I bought one of these, it is not that great but for small around the home jobs it's OK. 👍 How often do you need a small rotary tool, if not very often then this is a good low price choice.

This is a last minute, Macgyver type of emergency tool to keep at work or in the car. It may be useful, it may not. I'll take a chance for nine bucks 😄
Either way there no need to talk shit about it. I mean come on it's 7 bucks. FInd us a better rotary tool for 7 bucks. I don't think you can find us a rotary tool better then this for 7 bucks. I think this is just a video to talk shit.

What did you mean by this? What's wrong with the outer part of the barrel jack being negative??? It's the way 98% of barrel jacks are wired

Miniaturist LOVE this tool. Its cheap and convenient and WORKS! When you are dealing in 1:6, 1:12 scale this is a bargain. Have a great day!

The extra collets are for smaller bits 👍

I got this thing here in Australia at an electronics hobby chain called Jaycar. Its horrible but just enough.
I’ve had one for years, it’s descent for what it is obviously not made for serious projects.

Yea I build really small things and this works great for me

You can put new holes in a cheese with that thing
NiCad won't leak.
I have one of these, it's for cleaning up shitty utility knives
Why so high on the horse?
I’m pretty kind to most harbor freight tools in my other videos but hey a crap tool is a crap tool.
