What do you need help in? The start of the newest makes you select your language, then select the bios folder, then the folders you have your ROMS or in this case, ISO’s, and the rest is just the same as in the video.

For anyone who’s having trouble with the bios verification: when you click download and need to do captcha or whatever it’s called, click the first link the close the tab then do the same for the second. The two links should be greyed out. Then click verify and it should be good

This was probably one of the most easiest tutorials to follow for something I would have never ever in a million years had the patience to figure out how to set up myself. I bought Xenosaga Ep 1 on the PS2 since my roommate had their working PS2 still, but it showed up and it would not play on my system so emulation is my only option. Thanks for enabling me to relive this one. :D
I need help. i want to play bust a move 4 but when i do extract here i get 24 bin files and not just one so it doesn't work in pcsx2. it just show me the track one which is the ps2 famous screen with the blue square before launching a game

I spent a whole day doing the other stupid tutorials and was stuck at the end but after watching this guy I got it to work in 10 minutes now I can play dynasty warriors
@@fukopi look for a folder that says ps2 bios after extracting the ps2 bios from romsmania

You can't get too much more straight forward than this vid. Iv'e always wanted to play some old games and was always kind of lazy cause I always thought the process was lengthy and too complicated. But you made it super, super straight forward and easy, step by step. Was only one part that looked a little different than what was in the vid which was the interface of the emulator on startup, but I think people may be able to figure it out.

Oh my god, thank you so much! I really just wanted to play Silent Hill 3 again, but my sister stole my copy 10 years ago and refuses to return it, and I can't just buy another one because it's nearly impossible to find a copy at a reasonable price in 2023, so this is pretty much the only way I can play it again. I'm pretty sure my PS2 itself might also be ready to kick the bucket, so I'm probably going to end up emulating a bunch of games I already have until I can get around to replacing it anyway.
Hi Shandell, thank you so much. I was trying to play my favorite games from childhood off this, which includes Def Jam, which I see you have, too. Guides I watched before were dead ends. The only issue I had was getting the BIOS thing to download from that site. I was prompted to watch some ad and check that I wasn't a robot. But the ad wound up being unnecessary, and the download went through. Your guide was perfect and got me past the red tape. You're my hero. A few questions if you have time. Is there a way to get the sound from my computer when I play? It's currently coming from my duel shock controller, so I have to wear headphones to play. I actually don't mind it, but want the option to listen through my computer's speakers or other speakers. Also, do you know of an app that will let me record games while I play? I'd like to upload videos on RUclips later. The recorders I have either cost money or don't work. That said, how do I exit the emulator without turning it off so that I can record? It seems to be the only way (exiting and restarting), so recording is a bit complicated. Your time will be much appreciated. Have a great year!

I love what direction the PCSX2 dev team is going. While v1.6 and earlier were modelled after EPSXE, 1.7 uses an interface and feature set similar to Duckstation. The best aspect is how you can now upscale beyond 4x the internal resolution without graphical artifacts (e.g. vertical lines on text boxes in Dragon Quest VIII) and the entire game chugging.
Yeah I noticed that! I was like...why the hell does it look so different from my ps2 emulator? 😂 I wonder if the cheats tab is available like duckstation

How do I get my ROMs installed? At 2:14 it shows you adding your game directory where you click on the PS2 folder. Where does that come from?

It makes you do a "capcha" that forces you to do some dumb stuff. It was making me try out Amazon music or something and calling that a capcha. Use a different one. Everything else works and I got it working thanks to this video.

The bios is in the "ps2bios" folder. That came with the download

You did something wrong. I created a new folder in my D drive named PlayStation2 so I could find it. Downloaded the zip rom file and put it into the folder. Then inside the folder I right clicked on the zip folder and clicked on extract here and mines good

Black screen ? It won’t even open and when i troubleshoot the software it says it’s made for windows 8 when I made sure to download the latest version

The b i o s website doesn't seem to be working. Everytime I click the download button it redirects me to another site that then takes me to the download page where it says the file is not available. Not sure what to do
i’m having the same issue but i’m pretty sure this is an old video so the b10s file link mentioned in it is no longer valid.
@@jayfrmsset Just keep clicking the right download button and eventually you'll be able to download the bios and now it's working for me too
