OMG super awesome how to video, I love that you started from the beginning and explained everything all the way through! Thank you so much!! Quick question, all in all, how long does it take to make 1 pendant?
Awesome Becky....hey Becky I did my very first embroidery appliqué in the hoop on the weekend 🥳. It was a bit of a mission but got there in the end. First I had to get a new tap top as my one was so old it was useless... I got a fee design from Kreative Kiwi ( a My Happy Place sewing machine mug rug) then I had to learn how to download it then get it to my Bernina USB stick thingy ... then when I got it to my machine I couldn’t find it😱 I didn’t release I could scroll down thorougher🙄. Talk about teaching an old dog new tricks 🤪. But it was so much fun and I was very pleased with the results. So thanks for the inspiration Becky and your wonderful teaching skills.I’ve got a Sweetpea design in my sights now.😘💐
Intrigued to watch the Embrillance segment... I have PES Next software for my “older” Brother....I see similarities but Embrillance may have more options ???
So cute!! Another fun project to add to my "to-do" list. LOVE the cow wall hanging behind you!! Any progress made yet on the new sewing room? Thanks Becky!
Hi Katie, thank you! We won't start the new sewing room until after the holidays. WAY too much going on between now and then to even think about a remodel. lol
Becky I have a question. I was always told when embroidering on T shirts you should use no show mesh. I noticed in your video the other day you used a regular cut away. In your opinion does that come out better?
That totally depends on the fabric and the embroidered design. This fish design is very dense with layers and layers of overlapped stitching. A mesh would not hold up well in this instance and might look OK right after stitching but after one wash, it would be a complete puckered mess. Some people like mesh so it doesn't show through from the front like a halo of a circle around the design. You could certainly use both mesh and the one I used at the same time to soften the outline of the cut away behind it. I've found that "always" rules in embroidery are rarely ever 100%. Always consider the stitch content and what the outcome will be after the washing machine gets ahold of it.
Trying to add a letter to a banner in Embrilliance like Becky did and once I save the file an reopen it, it looks like some of the steps are gone. HELP!
Sorry, thought I had answered this earlier. Start all over from File / New, Edit / Preferences, Jumps/Overlaps, Uncheck the first two boxes (Remove overlaps when saving stitch files & Treat objects...). Now bring in the design. Give that a try.
thanks for the excellent tip on cutting out the button holes ! Yahoo

You were busy! Thanks for the computer part walk through. I had forgotten how to insert the letters!
Love this!! Off to get some ribbon to make some banners!
Love the tip to use a pin to stop the seam ripper! So clever, so easy (why didn't I think of that?😜)
These look great!
My youngest granddaughter turns 1 in December. (she's grandchild number ten) I think she needs a bunting for her party! Thanks, Becky!

I will have to try and make one for a side for mamas quilting lol
I want to learn how to use Embrilliance but feel like it is too overwhelming. I finally figured out 4D!
What batting did you use?😊😊😊😊

Love your vlog but wonder why you tie off when you change thread color. I do it that way on my serger but not on my Solaris?
I actually do it like that on my embroidery machine because I learned to do it on my serger. Easy peasy!
