    Boom! Did you hear that really loud noise?!? That was my brain blowing up with a "DUH!" moment! I bought the bubbles design (among others) and was looking at it thinking the size for my hoop was a pretty loose pattern. It would probably work great for T shirt quilts, but.... and then, this!!! Brilliant! It takes a village to keep some of us running. Lol. Thanks Becky, for thinking outside the box for us!

    I just found your tutorials this morning. Thank you so much for explaining this so thoroughly and not assuming we know the basics. Also for the speed of the lesson not to fast to where we have to stop and rewind because were constantly going...what did she say??... LOL. I have been looking for a software program for months. You sold me on finally picking Embrillance.
    Finally...Thank you for teaching this in mind of your average home sewer. I am a mom with 6 (one having multiple disabilities) kids and 15 grandkids. I love to sew but I can not afford expensive sewing or embroidery machines. Spending thousands on machines and then thousands for software is not a luxury millions of us moms don't have. My simple machines can only so 5x7 designs and your videos talks to us. Thank you

    Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. Just learned something new. Such a big help. Never knew how to really navigate through my embroidery works everyday software. And this so so close to embrillance software. Works wonderfully. Gonna be quilting my first large quilt today with Juju's end to end design too. Using my largest hoop of 6 x 10 and doubled the design of a 6 x 6. Looks great. So glad you did this helps a slow learner like me. 😊

    Can you edit the pattern to a smaller size? I did my quilt and now I have rows of blank quilting

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  Год назад

      If you edit a pattern, it probably won't line up. You might consider doing some FMQ with swirls on a domestic machine to fill in the gaps. You can also find swirls online in Google Images, print them out, stitch over them with an unthreaded needle, and then use a pounce to transfer the design to the fabric. Then quilt over the chalked lines.

    I want to start edge-to-edge quilting on my embroidery machine. I have watched several videos, including this one, and they’re all great. I do have a question, however. The designs have a start and end point either at the top and bottom or on the sides, depending on the orientation you use. Once a row is done by joining the ends and you begin your second row, how do you connect the design? I hope my question makes sense…. Maybe I just missed something in the tutorials. Thank you so much for taking the time to help.

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  2 года назад

      Each pass of the design connects to the next one. Each row nests up next to the one next to it for an all over quilting design.

    Hello Becky and everyone, never have done this on my embroidery machine which is a 5x7 but would like to purchase her end to end design for a baby blanket which I am making for a friend. We me having the 5x7 machine should I use the 4x4 design to fix more in my hoop? I hope you understand my question still because I am still learning. I like to say you are the best with explaining things from quilting machine embroidery and I don't even quilt LOL but love watching your video.

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  3 года назад

      When you buy the design, you will get all sizes in the download. The 5x7 finishes around 4.5x6.5 so the 5x7 designs will work perfect for you. Have fun!

    I have a question. No matter what I do when I "join" a end to end pattern, my machine always stops and ties a knot. I have set to one color as you mentioned. What am I doing wrong? I like your explanations and instruction- it is very helpful. If I could only get it to work.

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  2 года назад

      See if your machine has the ability to turn off the Trim function (trim is the cutting of the threads automatically). If it does not, then watch for the last tiny few lock stitches and just before the Trim happens, stop the machine, pull the hoop and cut long thread tails. Then bury them inside the project.

    So you made the overall design bigger by connecting 2 together. But the size of the bubbles, the design itself, did not change? Do I understand that correctly? Will the design work if you only have one but make it bigger in the software? Thanks Becky.

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  2 года назад

      You are talking about re-sizing the overall design. I don't recommend doing this. These particular designs are digitized in such a way that if you resize them yourself, they may not match up. You're better to just use the same design for a smaller hoop.

      @@PowerToolsWithThread Okay, I understand. Thank you. I stopped working on the quilt because I could not get things to line up, and I found out my template was printing at 90% instead of 100%. I don't have Embrilliance, but a different software. I don't understand why the patterns are written Vertical and Horizontal.
    My head says the hoop only goes on my machine one way.

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  3 года назад +1

      It only goes one way on your machine, But it may go another way on a different machine. Having them start from either direction provides options for everyone.

    I'm guessing if the design flows over to 2pages and you want to use the target print paper, you have to reduce it (the design) or print to two sheets and tape together??? Just wondering..thx. love the edge-to-edge vids..
