I have the Brother Entrepreneur ProX PR 1050x 10 needle machine. I would love to order the DIME magnetic hoop but I'm not sure where to order it. I want to make sure I get the right hoop for my machine because every place I've found tells me there are no returns accepted. Can you tell me what hoop I need and where to order from? What is the name of the multi piece magnetic hoop? I've never seen those.
Sure! This hoop is from Designs in Machine Embroidery (DIME). On the linked page, choose 'Multi-Needle' over on the left menu and then the resulting page will allow you to choose the size you want and your machine model in drop down menus. www.shop.dzgns.com/collections/designs-in-machine-embroidery-snap-hoop-hooping-systems?p=S1z1p1FgS This is an affiliate link for me where I make a small commission at no cost to you to help our family business. If you decide to purchase, thank you for using my link! These are not inexpensive, so when choosing a size, I took into consideration that I can always make smaller designs in a larger hoop, but I can't make a large design in a small hoop. I purchased the large 8x12 for my PR1055 and it's perfect for all my needs.
This is the first video I have watched on your channel, and I am blown away by how well-produced they are. You cover so many aspects of the process but in an organized manner such that it is easy to follow. My sister directed me to your channel, and I will be watching more of your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us!
I have used Designs by Juju end to end quilting for at least 4 quilts. Each time I refer to this video and i learn something new! After 4 quilts, I think I’m finally getting the hang of it haha Thank you for all the tips, materials to consider using and for speaking so clearly with your instruction! Based on your advice, I even purchased the magnetic hoop, which I’ve used for so many projects other than end to end quilting.
Another plus that I see is that JuJu is coordinating their embroidery designs with these quilting designs... big win win ! Thanks for showing both options for stitching.....sure is an endorsement for upgrading my machine but I can still do this on the older machine I have now. Lol
Oh my gosh I wish i had known about this a few months ago,I bought a few templates sort of Plexiglass.I want to make some table toppers now as gifts. Now awaiting the peel n stick to place the designs i bought, then it full steam ahead.Thank you so much for the video's on this technique.
Good job showing all the tips with end to end embroidery! If anyone hasn't tried it yet, you should - it is easy to master and opens a whole new world to quilting your projects.
Omg I learned so many little tricks today by watching this video. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely be purchasing at least one of these embroidery files for quilting. I got the magnetic hoop last year for Christmas. Can't wait to try this.
I am a new embroider. I just watched your video about managing embroidery design files. Thank you so very much! Now I know how to keep my designes organized and understandable. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the video. I will go with the second option by embroidering the pattern on the stabilizer, cause first of all, I couldn't figure out how to print the right size on the sticky paper, plus the paper was cut so bad, looked like a 5 year old cut it in the kindergarten. My printer wouldn't even take it.Thank you again, i learned some tricks too.
Thanks!! I had a comment written detailing my thanks but the phone ate it. To make a long comment short, beginner quilter here, slightly jealous of long arm designs, very happy to learn this technique. I have embroidery machines and look forward to using them this way.
Thank you for this thorough and detailed tutorial. I have had my embroidery machine locked away in my closet for over a year and until now regretted purchasing it. Now I have a use for it again.
Becky, once again you’ve de-mystified a process that at first glance might seem challenging, but with your step-by-step user-friendly explanation you give us the confidence to tackle this on our own. Moreover, we can be excited about trying this because we’ve seen your beginning-to-end stitch outs using the multi- or single-needle machines! I can’t wait to embroider quilt that I was getting to send out to a longarmer! Hugs and Blessings!!❤️❤️
I have been embroidering for some time but haven’t in the last 3 years due to needing to care for my husband. I recently discovered Designs by JuJu and your tutorial is just what I needed to get me back to finishing my quilting projects. Thank you. Mine us definitely old school.
Thank you for remembering all of us that don’t have the high dollar machines! So many videos seem to be geared for those machines. I use a lot of your videos for that very reason. They are concise and even show some of your mistakes. This makes us feel better about attempting projects we would not normally do.
Excellent video, I really appreciate that you stay focused on your presentation and don't veer off with side comments that divert my thought process in another direction!! Definitely getting a magnetic hoop the DIME paper and the JUJU designs! Thank you.
This is the first of your tutorials I've watched and 100% won't be the last. You produce a quality video - well modulated sound, no horrible un necessary music and great lighting as well as great instruction on a useful topic. Thank you so much!!
This is so helpful. I am new to embroidery but I am going to be addicted to your videos. I have a large hoop size of 7.9 x 11 and I am going to try it out. I have a midarm, but this will be great for anything. But small projects for sure.
Thank you so much for this video. I have watched quite a few others and they seem to forget that (1) not all embroidery machines have cameras, (2) not all embroiderers have magnetic hoops, and (3) every quilt has a back as well as a front!
Becky you are an amazing teacher. I never tire of watching your videos. I have learned so much. Watching you is helping me overcome the fear of my 1055X. I am learning so much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all.
I finally gave this a try on a throw size quilt (60x60), it was pretty easy and went faster than I imagined. My machine does not have a magnetic hoop available, so I made it magnetic by watching a video on utube for my specific machine. For about $20 I got a magnetic hoop.! watching detailed video, I was able to do an edge-to-edge quilting pattern from JuJu and it looks fabulous. I did make an error, but you can't see it. Thanks for all your great videos. I will be doing more edge-to-edge quilting.
Thanks for the tutorial. I am so excited about the DBJJ End to End designs for a 5 x 7 hoop and the variety as well. I have a 5 x 7 and so rare to find end to end designs. I've always been discouraged by other designers who said no one with a small hoop would bother. So I have been stuck just using squares on my squares. I was blessed to win a magnetic hoop and they work great. My question is what to do if your quilt is not the exact dimensions for the design. I guess I just have to fiddle with that.
You did a great job showing the steps for successful end to end quilting. I received my email from JuJu this morning about the sale for the designs, an entire month! I watched a demo from Eileen R yesterday, and it really introduced the possibility of doing quilting on my embroidery machine. You gave detailed info of using a magnetic hoop or the hoops we already have. One thing she said yesterday was to get a cheater panel and practice on it, which I thought was pretty smart. They are available at Hobby Lobby and elsewhere for a reasonable price. I will be watching your tutorial again and again as I go down this rabbit hole! I have just finished a quilt top(Eleanor Burns), so I’m ready to put it together.
You are an excellent teacher! This is just what I needed to get started doing end-to-end quilting on my 1st great-grandbaby's quilt. I just bought a mid-range embroidery machine that only has the regular medium hoop and no camera. Your instruction is perfect. Thank you so much for the courage to proceed!
Becky is so good at explaining things isn't she? How did you go? I'm not far behind you. I used one design on a placemat as my first. Loved the stitching. I learned what to pay attention to next time. The having a printout is a great idea, and I must get some of that tacky paper. Looks like it makes life easier! And the tip about the backing fabric. Imagine getting one lot done, and then finding out the backing isn't big enough to put it back in the hoop? Panic attack time! Lol
This is such a detailed tutorial using all types of hoops which I love. I will have to save this and come back often to learn. I had a negative review of the magnetic hoops from my retailer which is why I've never bought one. I will look one up and order. The stick paper is awesome. Thank you!
Oh my Gosh!!! I needed this just a month ago!!! You are so smart!! I was making 6 quilts for Christmas for my grand kids and I had to eye ball this process! Now I can do perfection!! You are AWESOME!!! Love ya!!💕💕💕🧵🪡✂️👍👍
You are3 such an amazing lady. I just bought many designs from JuJu for quilting. I watched this video and just now watched the 2nd video. Could not leave a comment on the 2nd video. thanks for all your info. Im starting on wall hangings after I do some practice. om so excited to try this. thank you!
Talk about a game changer. Thanks a million for this tutorial. I use DBJJ all the time for embroidery and so happy to buy some designs for quilting by embroidery machine. Quilting is a new project for me!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, and for showing the "old school" method. I usually have the hardest time following tutorials but I was able to follow along with you. Thank you for your time!!
Great tutorial, Becky!! I have all of Amelie Scott's designs and have been using them for quite awhile, that's how I came across your site, with previous tutorial. I have several DBJJ quilting designs, but have not tried them, yet. Magnetic hoop is definitely the way to go!! 👍💖
I have Amelie Scott’s edge to edge quilting patterns too. The application for Juju designs are different from hers. Amelia Scott designs have an “A” orientation and a “B” orientation. Juju designs are either vertical or horizontal. Use the vertical pattern if you are sewing rows-they connect left to right, so sew your rows left to right. If you are quilting by columns, use the horizontal pattern, they connect at the top and bottom.
Finally! I think I actually might be able to do this. I have been fretting because I just do not think I can do free motion quilting on quilting on my own and I knew there had to be a way to do this on my embroidery machine. I have done lots quilts (table runners or placemats) where you do the blocks one at a time but I really wanted to be able to do an over-all pattern on something larger. I have tried doing one block at a time and I didn’t like the way that looks in the end. It looks like blocks of quilting because that’s what it is. I will definitely give this a try. I have a large magnetic hoop waiting to be used that I purchased two years ago. I think I can do this! I hope JuJu will come out with LOTS of patterns to use. AND I so much appreciate that the cost of the patterns is reasonably priced. There are others out there that are not as easy to use. You have to BUY the instructional video and then buy single patterns to use. It should not be that hard to make this work and it shouldn’t cost as much as it does and JuJu has shown this to be true! Thank you JuJu! I am going to start with something smaller to get used to making templates using stabilizer because I have a MAC computer and I can’t print those templates from it. Yes, I bought the MAC program, but honestly it is so complicated to print from it that I just gave up. It’s easier to have my machine sew one and use that. Thanks for this video!
Ok, so I still have not tried this. I am such a chicken. HELP! Becky, I think you need to come and give me a personalized demo on this and then walk me through it. The wall hanging that I want to quilt has a 3” border on it. I notice that your samples do not have a border. How do you get the pattern to fit within the borders or do you just stitch all the way to the edge including the border and then bind it.
Ok....so I tried it. Failure! I’m ripping it all out. It started too low on my quilt so there is at least 1.5” between where it starts/stops all the way around, with no quilting close to the edge. The opening of my hoop is 9x10 but (I purchased an 8x8 hoop) but it will only stitch the 7.5” pattern. The machine tells me anything bigger won’t fit. Is it ok to try anyway? I need to do some measuring. It is just a small square quilt about 30”. This hoop does not come with that template you used in the video to line up the design inside the hoop. Why is that? My other hoops that came with my machine all do.
@@kathyclayton4318 Sounds like you need to contact the dealer that sold you the machine regarding the template. Maybe yours doesn't come with a template. You don't say what brand machine you have, so nobody can help with just the info. you provided.
@@sewzolamarie7527 thank you for responding. I have been able to resolve most of the issues and work through the quilting process of the small wall hanging. It is far from perfect that is for sure but it’s a wall hanging and unless you examine it up close you can’t tell that a beginner quilted it. I have a Brother Dream machine and I purchased the 8” square hoop from DIME. I did purchase the Embrillance software, but did not find it helpful because my computer is an Apple computer. I was able to purchase the Apple version but I found it quite cumbersome to use at least in printing the template. Sewing a template on stabilizer works just fine. Spray a little 505 spray on it and it works fine. I am getting ready to try a larger quilt soon. I learned a lot from doing the wall hanging and hopefully will be able to complete the picnic sized quilt. Thanks for your response though.
She is amazing with her explanation of how to do everything I just had to purchase all of juju e2e. They are on sale for half price. What a great deal. Thanks becky
Thank you for the excellent job of demonstrating how to do the edge to edge quilting. It was easy to follow the way you explain it. Thanks you are awesome! Nancy
I’m so encouraged that I can use my embroidery machine to quilt! I think this would work great to quilt individual blocks prior to stitching QAYG-style! Make your quilt sandwich and start quilting! Thanks!
You could do a QAYG using this method, but you'd have to stitch out the block first and then trim to size before connecting them. It will be difficult but I imagine it could be done.
Thank you for demonstrating how to do this without using dime hoops. I have an Elna 920 and can’t use dime hoops. The machine came with their magnetic version and quilting software that figures out the layout and repeats but your demo gave me the info I need to give it a try!
Hi, Becky! Your videos are explained in such a wonderful way so that they make more sense to me than anyone else's. I'm just getting started with E2E quilting and don't have the camera or magnetic hoops, just an old BL Ellegante. I've wondered if I can use the continuous hoop that came with my machine (never have!). I want to quilt a ~50x60, a minky-dot back (is that possible?), white thread for the top, red thread in the bobbin (will that show on the back like regular embroidery work?). You are on a cruise starting tomorrow so you won't see this, and you may never see this, but hopefully I will get an answer. It's going to take me a long time to go through your 700+ RUclips videos, but I know I will thoroughly enjoy every one!
Thank you so much, this is one of the best tutorials i have seen on end to end quilting. So glad I have a large magnetic hoop and that I watched your tutorial.
OMG How did I miss this! This is what I’ve been looking for - it’s a game changer for me! Thank you so much. Now I going to buy all of the designs and get a DIME magnetic hoop!
Thank you for this tutorial. I gave it a try and I am hooked. I am glad to know how to use my embroidery machine to machine quilt some smaller projects.
Thank you so much for this. The girls from my sewing group were going to show me how to do it but we got put into another snap lockdown. I didn't think I would be able to learn how to do continuous quilting but this looks so easy. I can't wait to try it now. Thank you so much. You are a wonderful teacher.
That was amazing thanks for sharing I am so going to try this for my smaller projects. I also love that you showed all the options on doing. Thank you!
I've just returned to this video to watch it step by step while carrying out my first attempt. I'm on a 5"x7" standard hoop and I didn't have the print and stick target paper but used freezer paper instead. The instructions were clear and easy to follow understanding what to line up is the key to getting this right. I look forward to trying it out on something a bit bigger after a bit of practice :-)
I have several edge to edge embroidery design files from Designs by JuJu. It comes with a reverse design. This isn't explained in your RUclips and I'm curious if I need to use this if I'm quilting a 41x53 size quilt. Thank you for your response. I love watching you showing us how to do this.
Hi Kathy, At the time this video was made, designs with reverse point order were not available. DBJJ quickly realized that stitchers would want to do very large quilts so they began to include them into the design files about 4-5 months after this video was made. Yes, when you turn the quilt around, you will definitely want to change to the reverse point order designs.
Thank you for making this video! I'm new to quilting and was getting discouraged trying to figure out how to use my embroidery machine to finish a quilt. I have a Brother SE350 so it seemed too daunting a task, but your video and the Designs By Juju has me excited to try again!
This is exactly what I’ve been trying to do and learn! I started 2 quilts years ago and paid someone to finish them because I had no idea how I was going to do it! Now to start another! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been buying JUJU designs for embroidery for a few years but never end to end. Finally a video that truly explains how to rehoop a design for a basic sewer with a standard/basic home machine and not just for people who have thousand of dollars to spend on expensive computerized machines. LOVE IT...
I purchased the large 8x12 for my PR1055 and it's perfect for all my needs.
oh, and thank you and your hubby for your years of service to our Nation , you are greatly appreciated!!!!
It was our pleasure! Thank you for saying so.
This is the first video I have watched on your channel, and I am blown away by how well-produced they are. You cover so many aspects of the process but in an organized manner such that it is easy to follow. My sister directed me to your channel, and I will be watching more of your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us!
I just feel like I’ve found my best sewing buddy/mentor! Thank you Becky! 😊
She really is like having a sewing buddy right with you! And, you don't have to get out of your pj's or sweats!
I have used Designs by Juju end to end quilting for at least 4 quilts. Each time I refer to this video and i learn something new! After 4 quilts, I think I’m finally getting the hang of it haha Thank you for all the tips, materials to consider using and for speaking so clearly with your instruction! Best video EVER on edge to edge quilting. Can you show me how to appliqué like your quilt tops?
Another plus that I see is that JuJu is coordinating their embroidery designs with these quilting designs... big win win ! Thanks for showing both options for stitching.....sure is an endorsement for upgrading my machine but I can still do this on the older machine I have now. Lol
know you recorded this years ago, but thank you for providing such easy to follow instructions.
this is BY FAR THE BEST video about this on youtube! thank you so very very much!
Thank you so much for the basic tutorial since I have 5x7 and 5x12 hoop!! Traditional with no magnetic hoop !,
You are so welcome!
Looks easy enough think I'll give it a try on my next baby quilt!
I've used this system before. Thank you for your step-by-step instructions. Becky your Owl is adorable
If anyone hasn't tried it yet, you should - it is easy to master and opens a whole new world to quilting your projects.
the best embroidery teaching video love watching your videos becky

Becky your videos are timeless. I watch them over and over to refresh the information you provide. Thank you for your time and effort.
You are an excellent instructor. Thanks so much.
Thanks!! I had a comment written detailing my thanks but the phone ate it. To make a long comment short, beginner quilter here, slightly jealous of long arm designs, very happy to learn this technique. I have embroidery machines and look forward to using them this way.
So glad JuJu is offering these now. I hope they add more designs soon. Similar to Amelie Scott's edge to edge quilting.
Similar in concept but better because it includes designs for 4x4 and 5x7 hoops and has an instant download. :) Love JuJu designs!
I purchased eight of them. I'm going to try them on my luminarie.. I watched your video earlier. You made it easy peasy.
Thank you for this thorough and detailed tutorial. I have had my embroidery machine locked away in my closet for over a year and until now regretted purchasing it. Now I have a use for it again.
Thanks for an excellent tutorial on how to use the end to end quilting designs.
I know this is an older video. But this has helped me immensely!! Thank you
Thanks so much! Really explained the hooping better than anyone - thanks
Thank you! So much fun!
One if the best demos I have seen re: end to end quilting.
Thank you for this video. I was browsing your shop and didn't understand. This explains everything so well. Can't wait to start!
Thank you for sharing this and explained how to do this whatever machine you use. Much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful!
I have been embroidering for some time but haven’t in the last 3 years due to needing to care for my husband. I recently discovered Designs by JuJu and your tutorial is just what I needed to get me back to finishing my quilting projects. Thank you. Mine us definitely old school.
You did an excellent job of explaining just how to do this technique. Thank you.
Thanks alot this is what I have been looking for. I feel a bit confident to start prep for my first project.

Thanks for the nice comment! Viewers like you make all the work worthwhile. :)
I have been wanting to try this and was hesitant. You have given me the confidence to try now!
I love Designs by JuJu end to end quilting designs. Thank you Becky for a great tutorial.
Amelie Scott had these first quite a few years ago. I loved those.....a magnetic hoop does work best
The concept is the same but JuJu also has designs for 4x4 and 5x7 hoops - plus there's an instant download which is awesome.
This is so helpful. I am new to embroidery but I am going to be addicted to your videos. I have a large hoop size of 7.9 x 11 and I am going to try it out. I have a midarm, but this will be great for anything. But small projects for sure.

Thank you for the thorough demo and instruction. I’m inspired.
I’ve watched several videos on edge to edge quilting and this one wins hands down!! I learned so much from you thank you 🙏🏽. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👍🏽👍🏽💯
You are so welcome!
Excellent tutorial. Learned some good tips. Wish I had this info when I first started edge to edge!
Thanks
Nancy
I still haven't figured out edge to edge. Its still sitting in my bookshelf

Thank you so much for the tips! You've answered many of my questions to get a flawless design!!

If you are quilting by columns, use the horizontal pattern, they connect at the top and bottom.
So exciting! Need to go buy some to try on a table runner that's been sitting for months!
@@kathyclayton4318 So glad you gave it a go and learned from your mistakes! Carry on 👍🏽
Fantastic tutorial Becky. Thank you for taking the time to share your skills and experiences with a variety of embroidery machines.
She is amazing with her explanation of how to do everything I just had to purchase all of juju e2e. They are on sale for half price. What a great deal. Thanks becky
EXCELLENT job!! I especially appreciate all of the close-up views and showing both multi-needle and single needle machines!
Thank you for the excellent job of demonstrating how to do the edge to edge quilting. It was easy to follow the way you explain it. Thanks you are awesome! Nancy
If I could give you a hundred thumbs up I would. Thank you for a very comprehensive tutorial! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I’m going to get some designs and try it thanks
Great video! I can’t wait to try this out!
Great video! I just decided to play with some edge to edge quilting today on my very old embroidery machine. These are great instructions! Thank you!
Great tutorial! This is what I've been looking for to work on a small quilting project. Thank you for all the videos you put out.
Fantastic tutorial once again thankyou so much Becky 💟 from Carol in Australia
Thank you so much for this. The girls from my sewing group were going to show me how to do it but we got put into another snap lockdown. I didn't think I would be able to learn how to do continuous quilting but this looks so easy. I can't wait to try it now. Thank you so much. You are a wonderful teacher.
You are so welcome!
That was amazing thanks for sharing I am so going to try this for my smaller projects. I also love that you showed all the options on doing. Thank you!
You are awesome explaining the steps of end to end quilting. 😊 Thank you so much
Excellent video! You are a great teacher and this is easy to follow! God bless you and keep up the great job!
I have been searching and racking my brain for the last 6 months. I just knew there had to be a way!! Thank you so much and thank you Designs by juju!
This is a wonderful tutorial! Thank you so much, we all appreciate you.
Thank you for making this video! I'm new to quilting and was getting discouraged trying to figure out how to use my embroidery machine to finish a quilt. I have a Brother SE350 so it seemed too daunting a task, but your video and the Designs By Juju has me excited to try again!
Fantastic tutorial! I haven't used the grid for my hoop and really missed getting better results for my end to end quilting. Thanks!
Excellent tutorial. I looked everywhere trying to do edge to edge. This is the best info so far. Thank you.
Thanks for this. I will be checking DJJ in the morning.
This is exactly what I’ve been trying to do and learn! I started 2 quilts years ago and paid someone to finish them because I had no idea how I was going to do it! Now to start another! Thanks so much!
Thank you Becky. That was a great tutorial. Loved it.
Thank you so much for this video. I have been buying JUJU designs for embroidery for a few years but never end to end. Finally a video that truly explains how to rehoop a design for a basic sewer with a standard/basic home machine and not just for people who have thousand of dollars to spend on expensive computerized machines. LOVE IT...
Perfect! Thanks, Becky; great info! Sew happy the SALE is still on!
