Thank you for your clear lessons. I have an Epic 2 and am trying to decide if I want to purchase sewnet or embrilliance. I have yet to figure out how to send a design to my machine without using a thumb drive. I love your videos. They give me the courage to try new things with my machine! Thank you.
Hi Beccy - great video - I watched the entire video, gave a thumbs up and took notes so I could learn my Embrillance Essentials software.I also purchased the set of Mug Rugs from JuJu -- instructions were very easy to follow, informative and I learned more about Embrilliance Essentials which was my goal as well as doing more mug rugs - I like how I can change motifs and add lettering - different designs, etc. Thanks for the tutorial
Being brand new to Embrillance, I appreciate your excellent tutorials, and was so excited that I got everything to work last week, I ended up making six mug rugs. They’re kind of addicting. Stay well.
AWESOME SAUCE!!!!! I've been using Embrilliance for 5 years and your video taught me a couple tricks I had not known I could do. You are the BEST teacher! Thank you so much. Look forward to more Embrilliance Tutorials. Always a thumbs up from me!! Stay well.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! So very helpful are your videos - I'm going through every single one because I have a new (gently used) embroidery machine. I had one of the babylock original esantes and it's LCD screen went dark. 5 KIDS born and raised since then and now I am onto grandbabies so finally have another machine to make things for the littles. I am researching the software and I'll be sure to use your links for being so helpful. Thanks again.
Fabulous tutorial, I’m very new to machine embroidery so I followed your lesson to the letter and way hay I now have a lovely mug rug which I’m happy to say I made it if asked 😀. Thank you for the lesson and I look forward to making more of your makes xx
Thanks Carol! :) I have several other pieces of VERY expensive software and try as I might, I cannot figure them out. Embrilliance just "clicks" for me. :)
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You are so clear with your instructions. I just bought Embrilliance Essentials and am still learning. You make it much easier.
I’m very very very new at this...I’m sooooo happy I found you because my kid got this program and I have no idea how to use it. I got some fonts from DBJJ but dnt know how to uploaded at embrilliance. I saw a lot of fonts on you program. Help!!!!
You just cleared up so many things for me. I’m going to invest in embrilliance instead of using the BES software that came with my machine. It’s much harder for me to use. Love your videos. Thank you so much.
Thank you 🙏🏼 for explaining about the software. I have watch so many different videos in regarding about software but I still wasn’t comfortable of purchased it. Watching few of your videos has made me more comfortable and understand how the software works. I can say I will for sure purchase the EES. 🙌🏼

Thanks for always being so helpful! I have to say, it working. When you video starts, I seem to be saying it with you. All the way to, that my blog. Lol In one of your videos you recommended an external hard drive. I cant find which one it was. Can you recommend one? Well, thanks again!
Here's a Dell. There are less expensive ones out there (by only a few dollars, if that) but I can't recommend their quality. Dell has never disappointed. Here's a link. Thanks! amzn.to/2SFedV9
Hi Becky! I have a Babylock Spirit and I'm afraid of it lol! Purchased Embrilliance Essentials too. Love watching your videos and one day very soon, I'm going to try one of these mug rugs. Thanks for sharing!
@@PowerToolsWithThread Thanks Becky! Wasn't expecting to hear back from you so quickly. Since becoming a subscriber, I look forward to watching each and every one of your videos. Thanks for the vote of confidence too!
Found ya die yesterday and enjoyed immensely. I have been Machine embroidering for over 25 years but never went to the point of combining all elements on the computer at once. I have a Bernina 830 and can’t tell you how much I have spent on their programs let alone the cost of the machine. Both machine and programs too labor intensive and hard to understand. I purchased a Babylock Ellisimo Gold and the machine is so easy to use. I am 79 years of age and active but have to watch my money. If the Embroidery Essential programs have written instructions, I can read, touch n go and with practice understand more clearly. Is it really easy to use. Additionally, and so important to me, what Microsoft version are you using on your computer. I work great with 7, but my computer died and when I got a new one it was Version 10. It is hateful, and according to the internet most seniors hate it. Biggest problem I can not locate my files and I can’t see what they look like. Can you give me some pointers please
Hi and welcome! I'm using Windows 10 and yes, they did move things around a bit. When you download files now, everything goes to your Downloads folder. They used to download to the last folder you had open. I prefer the new way so I only have one single place to look and I cut (Ctrl X) the newly downloaded file and paste it (Ctrl V) in the correct place. To see what your files look like (I'm assuming you mean embroidery files), you'll need a utility that can be found in some programs - not sure if Bernina software has it or not. But Embrilliance Thumbnailer is $49 works very easy to see all your files. Here's a video where I show how to use it. Jump to 6:52 to see Thumbnailer in action. ruclips.net/video/mplU0N2NeH4/видео.html
Hi Becky. I love your videos!! I was wondering if you could use this technique to resize the notebook covers to convert them to bible covers? I purchased the notebook cover and a mug rug with a cross on it that I would love to make a bible cover from.
I've been asked this question a lot and I don't see why you couldn't give it a try. Do a test to find out! However, if you don't have it already, I recommend you get Embrilliance Enthusiast to do this. It has a precise positioning system in it that will allow you to exactly scale all hoopings so they are the same. Without it, I'm not sure they'll stitch out properly. While you can reduce, enlarge, lengthen, shorten, etc. a design a certain amount of inches or mm per side, embroidery designs don't scale like a vector graphic so the PPS in Enthusiast will do that redrawing & re-stitch work for you. You could give it a try without it first just to see, but I think you'll have better success with Enthusiast. If you want to get it, please use my link. I make a few pennies from Embrilliance. :) Let me know how it goes! powertoolswiththread/embrilliance
I need help positioning my designs made with Essentials. I want to move the design up the highest location. When I did this, my Brother machine went to the bottom of the hoop. How do I fix this? I have learned more from videos!
I just bought Brother NQ1700e with wireless transfer. The feature has a Design Transfer Program which Brother provides at no charge. However it is only compatible with a PC product and not Apple. With Embrilliance can I transfer the designs wirelessly to my Brother machine? or will I still need Design Transfer Program? Thanks I have been enjoying your videos since I am a beginner your instructions are very helpful and easy to understand.
I didn't realize the Brother Database Design Transfer was only for Windows machines. Hmmm. I know Simply Applique is only for Windows systems too but it will run with Parallels and a Windows OS on a Mac. You might try that. Unfortunately, right now Embrilliance will only transfer to the Luminaire or the Solaris. They may have that in the works. I will ask.
Thank you for this video. I have done everything step by step, even using the same files from juju. Everything works fine until I try to get it onto my machine and it will not open. I have a memory craft 500e. It will not open in the software that came with my machine or on the machine via a USB. I am at a loss. Any ideas much appreciated x
Thank you so much for these tutorials. The computer end of embroidery has been such a struggle for me. I have a couple of questions. When I look at my files in my DBJJ folder, why do I see an icon looking e ? The other is can you do a tutorial on adding fonts to the font menu? Again a BIG thanks for your help.
Is it the 'e' for Explorer and the file type is HTML? That's my first thought - that's is a web file vs. an actual embroidery design. Sure! Adding fonts was going to be my next one!
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge! You’re a wonderful teacher! I’ve been waiting to find the motivation to work with Embrilliance Essentials. Making a mug rug with an initial is just perfect. I will definitely get the other modules too. Thanks again!
Another great tutorial! Please keep doing these. I learned so much. I don’t have that program, I have a different one, but will be looking to see if I can do the same with my program. Price? P.S. I ended up subscribing to the Creative Notions box.
Awesome Evelyn - you'll love the CN subscription. Most days, Embrilliance Essentials is only $149 and Thumbnailer is $49 but they put their software on sale every so often. Links to the products are in the description box. I have several other pieces of very expensive embroidery software I can't figure out. lol
Since I had Essentials before Enthusiast, I'm not sure what you don't have access to without Essentials. I suggest using what you have and then if you find you can't merge designs or edit in some way, then you probably need Essentials.
Becky. Great video! Does this mean I can take any designs especially ones that r bigger hoop size then my 5 x 7 and make them so I can stitch them in my smaller hoop? U have shown many Designs by JuJu that I want to make but the hoop sizes are too big and she doesn’t off a smaller hoop size for download. Ur awesome! Please let me know if there r limitations. Thanks!
Designs by JuJu has a policy that if their designs are resized, that they can't guarantee how they will stitch out. That said, I've always lived on the edge and have given it a try. Some designs just don't work when resized, but others can be resized within 20% of the original and if the embroidery software is a good one, like Embrilliance, then you can see ahead of the stitch out if it will work or not.
I don't ha e an embroidery machine and didn't really get what you were saying, but I watched anyway. 😂😂😂 Maybe I'll hit the jackpot and get one. At least you got another view. LOL Hope you're having a great day. 💗😊💗
I have the basic Embrillance, If I get the Embrillance essentials, do I really need simply applique too since the essentials have applique? I guess I could google that. LOL
The reason I have Simply Applique as a companion to Embrilliance software is because you cannot import an .fcm file into Embrilliance. I want to scan paper applique patterns to create the .fcm file, and then import that into Simply Applique. You can 'create' applique files in Embrilliance Essentials, but there's no way to do a pre-printed pattern applique like you'd buy in a quilt shop.
Hi Becky, I have had my Embrilliance program for quit a while now, still can't figure it out. My eyes are not that great to view paper tutorials so visual tutorials are better. What program of yours do you recommend for me to start learning how to use my Janome 400E machine and Embrilliance program. I have some designs on USB drives but I'd like to get them in the program. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Marge
Hi Becky, just to clarify. Is Thumbnailer included in with Essentials? I would assume that it would be but...you know what assuming can do. Thank you. Your tutorials are so helpful.
No, Thumbnailer is a separate utility that's not included in Essentials. But it's on sale now through 12/15/20 for $40. A Deal! I have a video on how to configure it on my channel. powertoolswiththread.com/embrilliance Thumbnailer - www.embrilliance.com/jamaffiliates/aff_tools/powertoolswiththread/tool/text_links/3
I have essentials and I could not download to usb as you did. It took forever and I got it by accident. When I got to the save window I had to scroll with arrow to e drive. Is there more then 1 way to load to usb?
Becky I’m having such a problem and it’s because I’m just getting started. I’m a Mac user and I need to download Jujus files into my Janome 550E. What format do I use?
Yes, and Embrilliance is perfect for that. The smallest font that comes with the basic Essentials package is 1/2" which is perfect for labels with minimal writing (name, date, To:, etc). However, I'd suggest getting one of DBJJ's 1/4" fonts as well for labels that might contain additional info like a sentiment. The more writing, the larger the label will get, so smaller fonts are better.
The SNC won't do that. It will create a cut file from pes for use in the SNC, but it won't create an SVG file. Here's a video that may help. ruclips.net/video/3oVzfJvDR70/видео.html
You must be a mind reader. I was looking at Embrilliance today knowing that is what you use. I have a Viking Topaz 50 machine and did not understand when I bought it i was going to need to buy software. I have their free program but it is useless and not user friendly. Please do more tutorials on using Embriallance. Do you only have the essentials program? I know thumbnailer is a small additional cost. I don't do much embroidery but want to be able to easily create text for quilt labels and sayings on quilt block pieces without spending my lifesavings for the software Viking tries to get everyone to buy called Premiere. You explain things so clearly without a lot of extraneous information, it is so great! I went to your blog looking for information on Embrilliance today and plan to use your link when I purchase so you can earn a few cents😂
@@peggymalaski4061 I don't understand your reply, are you saying recommended or commanded. Of course the Viking store tries to sell you the Premiere software. The free version does absolutely nothing except allow you to see files and save to USB to take to your machine, and lowest price software is ridiculous expensive and I have friends who own the highest version who say it is not user friendly which is why I have not bought the software.
Embrilliance is great because it works "outside" of the machine for any machine brand and you only pay for what you need (kind of like the Liberty Mutual commercial! lol) I'm happy to do more tutorials. Thank you!
@@peggymalaski4061 LOL no problem. Maybe with Becky's videos and Embrilliance software I will actually use the embroidery unit of my machine. Take care!
Ok, I’m going to Allbrands tomorrow to pick up my new Brother scan n cut and Simply Applique software. I guess you got me here, too, lol, gonna have to get Embrilliance, too! 🤣🤣🤣
YAY!! So happy for you! Make sure they have a copy of the SA in the store. I'm told they only physically have them in the main store in Louisiana but their other stores can order it for you. If you use my links in the Description Box, there's a 90-day return policy on the Embrilliance software download (if you can believe it!). That does not apply to the physical DVD. But, I don't think you'll want to return it. lol Congrats again. You're opening up a whole new world of fun. :)
Great question! If you purchase an embroidery file from a seller, it is yours to use however you like. Sometimes the seller will tell you in their Terms of Use whether you can or can't also sell the items you make using their designs. Designs by JuJu allows you to do this. If you make an embroidered towel using her designs and sell that towel at a local market you won't be in any trouble. However, if your machine is a Brother machine and it has Disney designs in the machine for your personal use, you may NOT use those designs to resell. The terms in the Brother manual are very clear about that. Now, will you go to jail? No. Might you get into trouble for a copyright violation from Disney? You possibly could.
Awesome! I purchased a design set for banner flags, but I wanted more designs and now I can make endless banner flags 🎉

What program of yours do you recommend for me to start learning how to use my Janome 400E machine and Embrilliance program. I have some designs on USB drives but I'd like to get them in the program. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Marge
You are Awesome Becky...you show and explain so clearly 😘💐
Thanks Di! Appreciate you watching!
A Deal! I have a video on how to configure it on my channel. powertoolswiththread.com/embrilliance

You will download the JEF file formats. Those work with a Janome. You can do this!
@@PowerToolsWithThread thank you so much.

Do you use embroidery to do quilt labels? It’s a struggle for me.
Hi Becky
How do I convert pes to svg for my scan and cut
The SNC won't do that. It will create a cut file from pes for use in the SNC, but it won't create an SVG file. Here's a video that may help. ruclips.net/video/3oVzfJvDR70/видео.html
Hi Becky can I use Embrilliance with the Scan N cut?
Technically yes, you can save an applique file to a .svg cut file in order to cut out the applique shape vs. you having to cut it yourself.
Billie Lowry we were commended to use Premier Embroidery for our Husquvarna machine (upgraded our Jade to the Topaz 50).
Billie Lowry recommended. It was a typo, sorry
Is it true u need approval to get embroidery files can u explained I heard u can go to jail can u explained
