Once it’s categorized as a sabiki, you won’t find any regs, bro. Lots of hooks with a little flair, that’s the point. DMR can only regulate so much and us fishermen have to limit the bycatch and responsibly throw back the undersized fish. 1 cod per person is a good reg. Sabikis are a good rig. Don’t troll bro

What weight jig do you reccomend for this style application and depth.

6.5 and 8.5oz are my two favorite sizes for cod and haddock in up to 180 feet with light current. In deeper or faster moving water I'll go all the way up to 16oz. I use the Hogy Sand Eel jig if they are feeding on sand eels and our Flutter Pitch jig if they are on Herring or the like,
