- A complete playthrough of Martial Champion (マーシャルチャンピオン) by Konami using my favourite character Chaos (known as Titi outside Japan). Level 4 (medium) difficulty setting. Not a game that's held in very high regard but I like it. Some of the character designs are very appealing and the backgrounds look impressive. Having low, middle and high attacks rather than weak and strong attacks makes it play a bit differently from other fighters. Being able to pick up an opponent's weapon and use it against them is pretty cool.

Best thing about this game: being able to pick up your opponent's weapons.
i was looking for this! my grandma had arcades and i used to spend all day in the machines.

Chaos looks very much like "Broken" from "World Heroes" and "Voldo" from "SoulEdge". Everybody sees him differently. That's the funny thing of it :)
very nice playthrough Merlin, i can see why you woudl like Chaos - he looks like a cross between Vega and Alsion III

are they any combos? My buddy is selling the Jamma board for 53 dollars. Is it worth it?
it doesn't, it's a mediocre game. There are much better fighting games from its time.
I want to interrogate the person who came up with Chaos in a room for an hour..just to explore this individual's mind...

@PhoenixRisen7 Thanks. Yes I can see what you mean. There is a little bit of a similarity there.
How quaint, a jiang shi in a fighting game who predates Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei.
Chaos/Titi is a more literal interpretation of a jiang shi.
Also, his throw looks ridiculous.
I don't think Chaos is an actual Jiangshi. He's a performer DRESSED like a Jiangshi.

Interesting game from Konami. I never did play it. Doesn't seem like it would have much of a following though especially with street fighter and mvc dominating the fighting game scene. I am more biased towards king of fighters and darkstalkers for these types of games but I will give Martial Champion a try when I get some free time. How hard does this get on hardest difficulty?
Is Chaos, no Titi
I was confused at first cause here in the states Titi/Chaos switched their names here
Titi was meant to be an homage to the Egyptian queen Nefertiti. But Konami followed the example of Capcom of name switching rather than giving Titi a new name like Patra (i.e. Cleopatra).
Le han podido sacar una secuela a Campeon Marcial, quedando la franquicia en el olvido, por asi decir... Ahora uno encuentra de manera No oficial de Konami a algunos de sus personajes ser explotados en tiras pornograficas, y en tiras justicieras y romanticas...

@THEBURNINGPUNCHX Haha I do like most of the characters but yes a few are a bit funny looking especially Goldor.
@Scarlett1RaS There are a lot better fighters out there but for me this game is pretty fun. A lot of people don't seem to like it very much though. I haven't actually tried it on hardest difficulty yet. To be honest I was a bit lucky at times in this playthrough and had quite a few close rounds. Konami's next fighter Dragoon Might is excellent and IMO as good as SNK and Capcom fighters.
