Unlike the original Tekken Tag Tournament, the game's sequel features a storyline although it is still not the series canon. Just like last time, it is more of a "dream match", giving fans the opportunity to play as almost every character in the series up to that point, including some of those that had apparently been missing in the main Tekken storyline, in addition to the character roster of Tekken 6. In the story, Heihachi Mishima has developed a rejuvenation serum, which, as it name suggests, has the ability to regress his appearance and power. After consuming it, Heihachi hosts another King of Iron Fist Tournament, sensing powerful challengers who would come to the tournament.

I fail to see what makes Marshall appealing to the fans. Forest deserves another spot in future canon games with his father's move list.

3 timeskipped into a new cast and changed the movement mechanics, 4 completely changed the format of stages and is completely unlike the games before and after it in high level, 5 was the start of modern Tekken, 6 made the bound system and redid everyone's moves, TTT2 did it again and brought almost everyone in the series that can fight.
Unless you're being pretentious and want them to almost literally restart the series like MK9, everyone BUT the plot has been remade and redone multiple times.
As much as heartwarming as it sound, it's still stupid to give away the whole prize money to a family who lost their home...

At least Paul and Forest could save something for Marshall who is always in debts cause of those two. They acted very noble, but still kinda stupid.

I think when they did the scene with them in the money, it changed to 100 Trillion.
they can do that. the right to receive the money can be transferred by negotiation to other persons.
what why :O for me its the best Tekken in the last 12 Years :O And the Endings are awesome and Funny and Crazy... and they are not so short like in the Older Tekken Games.

Not really. I used to work at a bank and even if they cashed the check, they immediately revoke the funds if they find out the account name is different from the one on the check unless it's something like a joint account.

I don't think its a bad game in anyway, just nothing new or interesting is shown in this game. When I played it, I had fun with it for about an hour, but it got pretty stale to me after that. Tekken has become a one trick pony, I think should go ahead and do a reboot at this point.
