I think all of you guys missed something important. The cartoonish ending for Forest and what he did simply indicates that he and Paul are so carefree and "pure-hearted". They're unlike Marshall who always enter the tournament to resolve his financial problems, they were just doing it for less serious purposes and don't give a real damn about the money, and normally they'll fail at estimating its value and give it all to the orphans because to them that's not what it counts
Agreed. Also Paul is the only non-Mishima related Tekken character to put up a great fight and manage a draw against Kazuya Mishima back in Tekken 1. I dislike the fact how Namco made Paul to be a joke comic relief character these days, but regardless he's still badass. He's been my main and most favorite Tekken character since Tekken Tag Tournament 1.

The rest was just either 'meh' or straight up garbage and I absolutely hated Paul's ending the most.

So donating the prize check was an act of kindness . . . . PS : They could easely split a part of the prize money . But it wouldn't be funny .
