Bodycam: Suspect Drags Officers, Crashes into Cop Car After Nodding Off in Alleged Stolen Vehicle

- Опубликовано: 26 сен 2023
- Bodycam footage allegedly shows the moments a suspect tried fleeing police and dragged two officers before crashing into a patrol car on September 20. The Cleveland Police Department said three men were discovered sleeping in a stolen vehicle behind a business. After they were awakened, they refused to exit the vehicle and the driver hit a building before crashing into a cruiser. The driver, Muurloo Bey, was arrested and held without bail.

Male Cop: Grab those keys out.

I hope the lesson is learned.
"The car is off" ha

I agree. If she took the keys out right away then none of this would have happened. 🤦🏼♀
She is too busy telling other cops how to do their jobs to learn anything

@@FinesseForward69 LoL
you should always box in parked vehicles, especially when they're waking up from an alcohol or drug nap. it should be standard policy for all police departments
Don't let an out of shape female LEO try to handle a male suspect. Women are not capable of handling a man that resists physically. They have to rely on non-leathal or lethal tools and that is not optimal.
Statements like this seem easy to make, but I question the logistics. Can't be cheap to wreak/dmg 3-4 patrol cars each time you box someone in who doesn't want to go quietly. Now, putting spikes infront and behind the suspect car, that I like. Doesn't hold them in place, but does make the chase a lot shorter.
It would have helped to box in the vehicle, but this whole situation could have been avoided if they had used a male officer instead of an ineffective female officer. There was no way she could overpower the driver and drag him out.

The very first move should have been removing the keys while these dudes were waking up. They had no idea what was happening. I see this idiocy happen all the time lately. And the police NEVER remove the keys, only for the suspect to freak out, start the car and try to run. It's getting infuriating when the private citizens have a better plan to address these situations than the police officers who are there. I understand, getting the perps into custody is definitely A priority, but seriously, they could save themselves possible harm by simply disabling the vehicle first.

I love how "f**k" is left out in some of the footage but not the others
So the female cop was told by the male cop to grab the keys or take them out …… and the thought that went through her head was “no not yet” for what logical and rational purpose was that??? You opened the door and halfway thought or felt that you wanted to handcuff the guy. They are detained at the least since it’s stolen. HANDCUFF HIM. Emotional thinking did not win today. I guess she didn’t appreciate the mansplaining.
He didn't tell her, he asked a question.
@@calwatch1496 You sound totally rational.
I’m shocked
They looked like such upstanding citizens
She should've apprehended him sooner.
The female officer needs more training! She should not have been the first to approach.
Female cop. Say no more.

@@SquirminHermanthe1eyedGerman I don’t think they even went to the Academy
