nice to see some malmsteen fans with this style of music its either the radio 3 classic fm folks which is ok or some metal fans. he did a good job and it was his style so lets bear that in mind for those who post after wards that dont like what he did, or have never heard of him.
@MaxSynths Yngwie isn't the only one who copies classical stuff, you know. Listen to almost whatever 80's metal band, and you'll find scales and patterns from classical music. A couple of examples are Extreme and Savatage, but there are a several more :)
These analog DG recordings, which yield nothing to digital masters, feature natural sound capture, robust bass and shimmering violin tone. I obtained the individual discs years ago; great to see DG release the whole set and more for a great price. These discs belong in everyone's collection
Yes, i know.. Malmsteen is a guitarist that plays the main theme of this Allegro in his concert. If you want to listen it search "Far beyond the sun live in Leningrad".
I dont know if anyone has noticed this but Paganini likes to end things just like Mozart, except (and maybe its just me) he almost makes fun of Wolfgang by having his insane trills at the end of a section in thirds, or sixths, or harmonic trills or some other almost impossible form to the ending note. Like "Suck it" Mozart.
I really Don't know Why People fight regarding this pice I mean yeah its Paganini's BUT come on thats why Malmsteen Created the most beautiful Metal in this world the Neo-Classical Metal that is based on all the great writers of classical music so stop fighting for this since the Neo classical its just a tribute to all the great of classical in my honest opinion
Please stop comparing Paganini and Malmsteen please, I beg you all, you can't compare classical music and Metal (neoclassical-metal). They are different. Would you all shut up and enjoy this piece of great music?
oh yes, i know that this is te original one, i have never thought that Paganini has copied Yngwie! However i like Malmsteen's version and i like Malmsteen guitar's style!
@c0deMunkey I bet, if Paganini Aka Paggers, was alive today he'd spend most his time eating chilli heatwave doritos whilst watching rush hour 3. Which is a shame because that's quite a poor movie and it would probably put him off of watching the first and second. He should have probably watched them in the right order in the first place. But what can you do?!
@violinstupid why can other people do a cover of this, but if yngwie does it then all of a sudden it is crap?? yngwie is a great guitarist, no on said he is paganini, and the very beginning is based on this, then he plays albinoni's adagio....the rest of what it is he does is not at all related to these pieces at all
This Is Artifacts Of One Of The Great Composers Ever
Haven't listened to it before. This concerto is so beautiful....
Agree
