I sold Telus Internatonal some months ago at a huge loss; what a dog. And this week I sold off all my Telus shares in my RIFF and closed out the account. What a dog stock.
I typically ignore short term movements, it's just noise. When you look at the economy and the crisis at the Government, that's enough to justify fluctuation :-)
I am bag holding 350 shares of Telus at 25 dollars. The same reasons I bought the company are the same reasons I'm holding. There is also insider buying amongst the board members and the CEO which is very encouraging. Zoom out a bit.
Got rid of it earlier this year and bought POW - the latter went up 27% and paid me greater than 5% dividend
Nice move!
Great podcast Mike! You’re an excellent teacher. Very easy to understand.
I appreciate that!
I'm in the opposit, i've just started a position today at $19,80.

Good stuff as always, Mike. As a fellow T shareholder, I feel your "pain"...lol. But as you correctly said...proper diversification is key. :)
We need a few bad performing stocks to help us appreciate the good ones :-) haha!
Very helpful, thanks Mike!
Anytime!
I am happy if you are happy mate, will see what happens. If the dividend and company rating changes I am out!
I wouldn’t say I’m happy, but I’m okay haha!
I have zero confidence in telecommunications and retail sectors
There are plenty of opportunities in other sectors 😁
Canadian equities in general have been struggling recently, whats your take?

I'll hold as long as cash flow metrics are getting better :-) In the end, cash is truly king.
