Salut Mike, Bien hate de voir ton analyse demain sur Telus. J'ai moi-meme 405 parts avec une moyenne de 24.51$. Tant que Telus n'annonce pas de coupure de dividende, je crois que je vais continuer en accumuler tranquillement. Un dividende de 7.38% en ce moment mais avec un ratio de distribution de 245%, ca va etre dur a ne pas couper dans le dividende. Mais de l'autre coté, Telus a vu d'autre hausse de taux par le passé. A suivre... Et a suivre aussi ton analyse demain. Cia!
Il faut regarder le cash payout ratio dans le cas d'entreprises qui sont "capital intensive". Le payout ratio est basé sur des nombres comptables, pas nécessairement sur de l'argent dans le compte de banque.
Everyone has their own reasons for buying or selling. For some Telus might be a big loser for others like you said it might be a stable telco with a solid dividend or even a good investment opportunity at this very moment.
Mike I’m afraid to watch this video because I just started buying Telus! I wasn’t planning on selling until it recovers to at least $30, unless of course they were to cut the dividend.
It took Telus 5 years prior to peaking in 2022 to make a 50% return on their share price, you really want to wait 5 or 10 years for them to get back up to 30 dollars a share for a 50% return ? Lol
@ Telus makes up half a percent of my total portfolio so I’m not really worried about it. I did own it before and sold at a profit before it tanked. I don’t mind collecting the 7% dividend as long as it keeps growing it.
