Really - yes a safe scaffold for our "Dan The Man"! It's very commendable that Dan shows us the tedious grind he has to adhere to, slogging in and out, thru wind and rain, day and night with his creative camera positions:) I don't think many other vloggers would take the time to give different camera perspectives when they are going up and down ladders, carrying buckets of wet cement, etc!

Your right ! Being the soul worker in this project is enough to deal with for the average guy . He is a survivalist . His Wife has taken over the house he built and he could no longer use the Air B&B . If Dan didn't have this land he would of been Homeless . He is living in a Tent that is only intended to be used for a Weekend . I noticed that when his wife came to the place, she came empty handed . If a person comes to a gathering empty handed it is a good guess that they are on the take . She could of at least of brought Water . Dan could of stayed at that little Studio he built for himself as a place of refuge from the outside .

It is very unfair to comment like this. Dan and Annalise were never married, she is not his wife. As neither have commented publicly on their private situation no one knows what the story is.
Also we should all be mindful that what is said on You Tube stays forever and Dans children will be able to read these comments.
Dan does not and cannot film every second of every day. How do you know his ex partner showed up empty handed?
Idle speculation by his subscribers doesn’t help anyone.

Next time Nick is there with a digger, have him use some of your fill debris to make a little unloading ramp- the same height as your rental truck bed, a flat surface (maybe 8 feet by 10 feet?) to unload stuff onto, and a gentle slope down to ground level on the opposite side that you can use a moving dolly to move the unloaded items down.
Or, an earthen ramp that is truck bed height outside one of your chateau doorways (you can remove the ramp once you’re done with big deliveries). Watching the brand new scaffolding dump out of the truck uncontrolled was painful!

    • @xlerb2286
      @xlerb2286 11 месяцев назад +6

Agreed. I have a ramp like that at the farmstead. Amazingly useful for loading/unloading trucks, can even drive cars onto a truck bed with it. Watching that scaffolding get dumped hurt. I'd be surprised if there isn't some damaged to the scaffolding frames.

You may want to build yourself some sort of LOADING DOCK on one of the two front stairways-- something about the same height as your truckbed so you can walk things on and off without having to carry them up the stairs to get them in the building. Make it of timbers, to extend the landing out to the end of the stair at about truck bed height. Even if it's not level, you could either make it a ramp or reduce the many steps to just a few.

Good scaffolding! Yay! Very relieved. Have to say that when watching you rake out the gravel for the Yurt foundation, was suddenly having a flashback to you and the rest of the Lalande gang raking out the courtyard gravel. In your robes! It seemed strange seeing you raking gravel alone, albeit for a smaller area. Wished I could call the Lalande gang to help you and then you were done. :) Bravo! Can't wait to see the Yurt up and you in a comfortable home. You are getting a wood stove, right? Wondering about the water supply as well, but sure all questions will be answered. Carry on.

Of all the injuries to the eye, among the most disastrous in its result is a burn, especially one due to the action of a chemical irritant, such as quicklime. It may result in adhesions of the conjunctiva, in opacification of the cornea with marked reduction of vision, and even in loss of the eyeball. Take extra care Dan.

Glad to see ‘real scaffolding’ that makes you really happy. It is going to be so amazing when you finally set it up in the turret (at a later date). It was fun to see you playing in your zen garden with you zen rake. I have a feeling that the yurt platform is going to be very interesting to see you put it together. Thank you for sharing and stay safe!

Dan. Thank you for your optimism. Thank you for the nearly daily videos. Thanks for saving a structure, that I myself would have driven past and heard “Save Me!” … and wondered how’d I actually do it.
If me just watching means you can keep on getting supplies, I’m in.
It’s the best 10-15 minutes of my day some days.
    Anyway. I’ll watch you tomorrow.
    Cheers!

    Hi Dan!
I watch your channel all the time and I have really enjoyed watching you going at it to rebuild this chateau and the property it sits so nicely on.
It's a HUGE task that you took on but, it's a good thing for you and mainly your children and their children, etc...
I honestly have no idea if anyone has even said this to you yet or not but, I can not live with myself if I don't mention it. I am saying it because I genuinely care about your safety and well-being and the well-being of your family.
PLEASE double tie your shoe laces or knot them at the top lace hole you want the shoe laces in and cut off excess lace if you want to wear your shoes as slip ons.
ESPECIALLY when you're climbing ladders/scaffolding & just walking on beams while you're building floors and the roof on the castle.
Do it for your safety, health, and for you family please Dan.
I pray that the LORD surround you & your family in His holy hedge of waring angels of all rankings and divisions with flaming swords of holy fire all around, above, & beneath you all, your homes, your properties, your vehicles, etc... every where y'all go in Jesus MIGHTY HOLY VICTORIOUS name ABOVE ALL names.
I love you and your family in Christ Jesus. Have a wonderfully blessed day/night.
    🥰🤗💗✝️💗🤗🥰
