I have created 10gbs of unallocated space, but when i right click on the unallocated space new simple volume is not highlighted

@@MDTechVideos i have ssd for os and hdd installed. Sadly my ssd is faulty now. Only 1tb are consumed in my hdd. My qeustion is can create another partion and install os on it without formatting the whole hdd? Thanks😔

MDTechVideos, I just want to say thank you. I had to get a new PC since my old crashed (of all times during lockdown when stores are closed!). Anyway, I tried setting up my PC and my husband said he'd have to do the partitions... I don't know how. He's right but I said that's what search is for and I found your video and I didn't have to download any special programs just did it through Win10 as you directed. THANK YOU SO MUCH! My husband was even surprised it can be done through Win10,. Thanks! :)

Had formatted/partition my C drive. I want to return that allocated space back to C drive. How will I undo that? Am i to follow the same steps, in a reverse manner??
When I right click on my drive I want to partition in Disk Management, the only that pops up is a "Help" button. My C: drive pops up with all the options, but my external drive I want to partition only says "Help".

Not sure if this has to do anything w diskpart but I once created disk partition on my pc which was working fine prior to performing this and after disk partition, my laptop slowed down a lot.

Thanks man. Next can you make a fix on 100 % usage on hard disk. Laptop lenovo. Plz I've done so many methods to solve none of them worked. I tried to reinstall new windows. But finally after I've changed the battery power to performance the usage is down but if I connect the Internet the prob came back or if I run any games the usage go high. I only have one partition C drive has 1tb. The installed some repack games on that. Is that the prob. Plz

I don't think I understand this holistically. What is the practical application of this/why would someone need to do this? This is a way for organizing drive space, I get that, but couldn't you just organize all your files in your own folders on the C drive? Is the only use for this to be able to then take that newly created drive and then share it on the network, or am I missing something?
