I was facing an issue with my PC's storage and had no idea how I fix this and then I noticed all of my data was getting stored in one place i.e. drive c by default which was distorting my whole PC's storage. with this video, I have successfully created drive D on my device. thank you so much ....wish you lots of success ahead buddy.
The only thing to add is that if you want to make a round 10 GiB (GB in disk management) partition, then you need to multiply 10 by 1024 MiB (MB in disk management). And if you want the windows file explorer to list this partition size as a round whole number, then you need to add 1 MB to the above number. So to make an exact 10GB partition that also appears in file explorer as 10GB, you need to input the number 10241 MB in the "amount to shrink" field.
