I am aware that there is currently a bug with Ghost and Suppressor and I'll cover it in a video later today. These class setups are meant to be at least somewhat future proof so they last for the life cycle of the game. You may want to avoid that stealth build until the bug is fixed.
Jackfrags didn't think it was a bug but a feature of game design. Which is it then?
I like the Taq 56, i had the blueprint from i guess vault edition on Beta and on Live and that blueprint is pretty solid (not the build i use) but yeah I like this if I'm running a long gun.
@@jonathanhopkins8565 Likely a bug since the same thing happened in Vangaurd with subsonic ammo for a bit and they fixed it shortly after I brought it to their attention. This game uses a lot of the same code base as Vanguard so the logical assumption is that this is just the same bug, although it's technically possible that it was intended design.

I hope we get detailed stats in the menus soon. I’ve loved this series since it’s inception but I hate having to RELY on it. For all the past few games did wrong, the detailed stats were fkin amazing.

They want to hearken back to the original MW2 where you had to go on the internet to places like Den Kirson Proboarbs (and then Drift0r) to get the actual stats.
I sure hope we have an equivalent to people thinking 'the Intervention is a good sniper' this time around thanks to no detailed stats!
Speaking of the TAQ platform, the TAQ-V is actually quite good full auto despite having considerable recoil. It’s consistent, powerful, and actually quite versatile.
I have been testing the Taq-V vs. Taq-56. I’m really torn between the two atm😭
Battle rifles on full auto decrease your damage by 25%. I haven't ran them auto since Ace did that test
i saw there was some battle rifles that in semi takes 2 shots in the upper chest to kill but in full auto it takes 3? go to "jackfrags" vid "Modern warfare 2 details you didnt know about" time stamp 7:15 im basically saying all of this to say that this is probably a mistake and if they fix it they could be even better
@@trevorwebb8185 the only battle rifle that's honestly worth using full auto is the taq v.
TAQ V better in my opinion, recoil isn't bad at all
Just a note on Ghost perk, Jackfrags put up a nice mythbuster style vid, and can confirm, Even suppressed with Ghost active, you will show up on UAV scan if you shoot your gun. So I guess if you hide in a corner not shooting you'll be as invisible as Drax eating a Zargnut, "But my movement... is so slow... that it's imperceptible."
You will be on the Minimap for a couple of seconds after shooting, even with Ghost active and an Suppressor when the enemies have an UAV up, Jackfrags just tested it in his latest video
They literally made a 4-kill killstreak the best item in the game, while destroying dead silence and ghost in the process. I just don't get Infinity Ward.

@@christopherasuncion9807 I still take ghost, bc without it, I encountered even more people just sitting on corners for me. I do like quickfix though, and have a loadout alternative set up if I want to swap on the fly as needed
Ghost should not be a tier 3 perk, it should be tier 1 considering what it actually does in this game. Again just goes to show how useless IW are at making a gd cod game.
I'd like to see you tackle the STB 556 (AUG). My favorite assault rifle and wanna see how you pick it apart in terms of stats and how it performs as well as best attachments for it.
All I know is that gun is cracked absolutely love it. Even the LMG variant and the MX9 Sub machine gun aug is awesome as well!

Jackfrags just posted a video where enemy has ghost and a suppressor but shows up for one ping on UAV after firing.

It's weird how in this game assault rifles have such low bullet velocities, sometimes slower than SMGs: 5.56 should have a bullet velocity closer to 800m/s, and only have a velocity of around 600m/s if using a super short 6 inch barrel
Probably for balance reasons, Battlefield has the same issues, specially with snipers.
@@jonardon8581 yeah, but in another video, Ace said that some SMGs have better bullet velocities, which doesn't make sense in both realism and game balance terms because SMGs are supposed to be good at CQC and not so good for long range
I think this is why they got rid of the stats. If everything was realistic some guns will just never outclass others in any scenario
@@sasharudyy3587 well, they do have better velocities, but their damage and accuracy at range is trash so its not so bad, there was one time in Warzone when the Fennec was hitscan and it was still trash at range
Well based on the dialogue in the campaign, I get the idea the developers are anti gun and only know the bare minimum to make the game believable enough.

I’ve been rocking the TAC for a week now when I need a break from grinding gold. My long range set up is the Crown muzzle, ripper grip, 14.5” barrel, Cronin mini pro reddot and the 40 round mag for those objective based games.

the hipfire kills were a pain for sure, but I absolutely love this gun. it felt super consistent and powerful. always been a huge fan of the SCAR in previous titles, so I was pumped to see it return!

It’s not consistent tbh. You have to hit all 3 shots to upper chest to get a good ttk. If you don’t it will be a 4 shot kill which is ass with this rate of fire. Taq v and kastov 762 way better. Consistent 3 shot kills and accurate
Had to use it last night to unlock an attachment that I wanted for another weapon nd my goodness that gun is awesome!! Instantly became my favorite MW2 gun.

This was one of the first guns I maxed out. Definitely feels really good
I used this gun for the first time today and my first game I got 56 kills which I'm not used to doing that good, and kept getting triple kills and probably could've gotten more with a bigger magazine. I was surprised by how crazy good it is, it also seemed to not really have any base recoil.
This guide came out at the perfect time because now I can improve it
I like the idea of having a suppressor setup in the build section. I still do use a suppressor for staying off UAVs and for the sound dampening affects, it would be nice to see how you would build for that playstyle

Accuracy and positioning are my strongest skills in FPS games, so the TAQ platform weapons have been a great fit for me so far, as they seem to really reward accurate shooting, methodical movement. Outstanding weapons for objective modes. Love the gun guides, Ace! Keep em coming!
I love the SCARs this year. Both the L and H have fairly low recoil (in their respective categories) and hit hard as well. I still need to use the TAC-M, but I have heard good things about it as well. Not to mention, they all have the best iron sights ever!
I still favor previous iterations but they're fully serviceable, even at range.
The dmr is called the SCAR H LV from bf4
The scar in mw2019 was better. The fact you have to hit all 3 shots to the upper torso or it will be a 4 shot kill is incredibly underwhelming. There are far better options. The m4 being one of them as it may have a slightly slower ttk, it’s a guaranteed ttk.
TAQ-V is very interesting.
Something to keep in mind about the TAQ-M is its relatively low in-class fire rate and high bullet drop. It's by no means awful, but it takes getting used to. Time your shots carefully.
This by far has been my favorite gun to use so far. I'm running it no attachments and still absolutely melt people.

No matter what game this gun is in it's my go to, I LOVE THE SCAR!!! It feels really consistent, It definitely feels good to be able to play with a gun that takes skill. I didn't know it had a 3 shot kill potential that's great to see now only if firing range worked right. Thanks ace!
Echoless-80 muzzle, 14.5 barrel, canted laser, cardinal stock, 40 round mag. Takes a bit to get used to, but hits like a truck with decent range. Not the best at close range, but with the current maps and slow play style it fits right in.

hey ace, can you revisit the attachment tuning? apparently IW tweaked the sliders and made tuning alot better when they put it back in. it seems to actually affect your gun alot more now
content idea .. would love a video about the different ammo types. for example high velocity and whether it’s worth using / the tradeoffs
I really enjoy this gun, it was my second gun to get gold (behind the m4) and it seems much smoother/consistent to me
Love this gun and also the S014 in full auto. Both have very constistent damage and the recoil is very easy imo too.

TAQ-V is amazing on full auto mounted in a power position and a thermal optics! It was my first gold gun as the SCAR platform is one of my faves ! Going to gold grind all of the platform
First gun I actually did good with, even with no attachments. My only complaint is the wild ttk swings with where shots are landed. Sometimes it melts othertimes its a hitmarker farm.
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed yet but jackfrags made a video showing how you still pop up on mini map when firing with a suppressor when the enemy has a uav up regardless if you are using ghost

@@christopherasuncion9807 haven’t seen it confirmed yet but cold blooded should only hide you from lethal kill streaks snapshot grenades and triggering high alert

I came to this video after I dropped my first gunship streak on this game last night. This thing feels great to use. I can’t believe I was ignoring it.
That Tier1 shots to kill graphic is perfect.
Ace, this is unrelated to the video, but if you can, could you take another look at how firing suppressed shots interacts with the minimap while the enemy team has a UAV in the air? I’ve noticed while playing that my own blip lights up on the map while firing, even with a suppressor. And from jackfrags’ latest video, it appears even while firing with a suppressor on, it deactivates your ghost perk for a few seconds and you get pinged on the minimap anyway. This makes it practically impossible so stay off the minimap permanently in this game, and makes ghost and suppressors useless, since multiple uav’s are up damn near 90% of every match. UAVs are simultaneously the strongest streak in this game while being the easiest to get, and there’s NOTHING you can do to counter them. Seems like good balance to me 🙄 (I know you can run a launcher, but you only get 2 rockets at spawn, and you’ll be forced to to show on the map by firing the damn thing) As a stealth/flanking player ever since I started playing in 2011, this and this shitty perk system is beyond fucking annoying; my play style is quite literally completely invalidated in this game, and I wish I could just get my money back for this shit. 😩
The TAQ-56 is my favorite gun in the game thumbs up. Accurate and competitive TTK.

I'm grinding out the Icarus rn for the pineapple grip, but that's just so I can use it for my TAQ. It's seriously my favorite AR rn. Hits like a truck, decent fire rate, manageable recoil, and in Tier 1 it's unstoppable. If you shoot first, you win almost 100% of the time. Only acception is going against shot guns. They have a chance if they're close

Don't know if you watch Jack Frags, but he had a video up showing that suppressors don't keep you off UAV sweeps while Ghost is active.
You'll be on for up-to 2 sweeps of the UAV, then disappear again.
I'm a scar platform fan boy I'm happy they added the marksman version and the mk16 version I currently run the 762 with 50 round mag

As for steahlty setups... Jackfrags posted a video earlier about the Ghost Perk... looks like "Ghost" and "Suppressors" are not working as intended under UAV at the moment

4:04 Description is correct. 14.5" is actually the length of the standard-length barrel.
Have you seen the testing JackFrags has done with Ghost, silencers and UAVs today? Biggest takeaway is that even with ghost and silencer, if you shoot, the next sweep of the UAV is going to show your current position - so basically if you move around and shoot a lot even with Ghost/Silencer, with UAV, or even HB Sensor (!), your position will be revealed for the enemy. Makes ghost that much less useful for aggressive playstyle.
I love your videos man, very helpful but have you ever thought about doing and over lay of recoil patterns? at least for when you are showing off your suggested attachment setup, just to get a clear idea of recoil patter comparison.
Definetly my favorite AR in this game so far.
