The AUG is by far my favorite weapon in videogames. It was made in the 70s, yet it looks so futuristic even by modern standards.
Got my first nuke in the original MWII with it. It’ll always be close to my heart bc of that.
The aug 9mm is freaking nuts!
Love the gun but disagree on the modern looking standards. It definitely looks like it was a gun designed in the 70s to look futuristic, lol.

Heads up on the Barrel Range chart. The percentage values are correct but I must've forgotten to adjust the drop-off points on the graphic. I try not to let little things like this slip by but I am human and the odd minor mistake is bound to happen.

In og black ops the famas and Aug were clones of each other, yet only the famous was ever nerfed, Noone ever talks about the aug
@@frank.e.wildcat that's so true I acc preferred the aug because of the green colour it had lol. it was identical to the famas pretty much
the AUG was overpowered as shit in Cold War
Pretty sure the sprint out time being faster than the smg version of the aug would probabpy indicate its a mistake not an intentional design
@@frank.e.wildcat the AUG’s recoil in bo1 was more horizontal while the famas’s recoil was more vertical so easier to control, so more people gravitated to wards it. However there’s no denying the AUG was and is a beast

stb 556 or lachmann 556?
This had been my favorite gun since the game's launch. I immediately noticed the insane sprint out time and that alone makes it such a joy to use.
This is it! This is the one I was waiting for! This gun is a monster for run and gun. I've been having so much fun using this bad boy. Even with no attachments its amazing.
I think they somehow swapped the sprintout times for this and the MX9, as the MX9 has an AR sprintout time of 210ms.
I doubt it was on purpose

@@JohnWick-qz7us nah I hate it can't kill a damn thing with it lol. Feels like the time to kill is garbage. I also hate the New MP7 I don't remember it's name. The P90 variant is my go to sub. Haven't unlocked the 74u to try it yet.

I gave this a shot after trying to complete camos for the Lachmann 762 (frustrating). This feels amazing and, the Bruen platform is my new favorite for close-mid range. Glad you covered this.
I'm a little confused by all the muzzle and under barrel attachments. Many look to be very similar, yet I can still feel a difference.
I gotta say I like that the guns have a different feel to them while still being viable in this Cod. I’ve been trying the tac-54 a lot since your video and where that one is a long range laser with a big 3-shot kill range, this gun is a more nimble aggressive gun with quick damage drop off but also quick movement and ads. I don’t know if it really belongs in the ar class but I love using it so no harm no foul.

As a colorblind person, I was wondering if you could split up the green and yellow colors when comparing damage ranges. If you could, put the green in between the red and blue, it would help a lot. It is hard to see exactly where the difference is when green and yellow are butting up against each other. I love the videos, though. Keep up the great work crunching these numbers.

Hot take but that hydroelectric map is my favorite of all the new maps. I like the verticality w the roofs but also having the tunnel system underground, adds a cool dynamic

Awesome videos. Most other „youtuber“ talk and talk and show ganeplay for 5-8 minutes show 10 seconds the perks and then other 6-8 minutes gameplay only to get over 10 minutes. You re the only one who explain the weapons. 👍👍👍

Looking forward to this series. I really need your statistics on battle rifles. This category has haunted me since I came to their platinum challenge. Long shots with these guns are nearly impossible.

Another great video Ace. Finding these really helpful as a returning player to COD looking to dive back into the game in the next few weeks.
I played from the original COD Modern Warfare back in 2007 all the way up to and including Ghosts where I stopped. And now after around 8 years away from COD the remake of MW2 has me curious to jump back in.
CODs changed a lot it seems and there's so many options now. Any advice on where to start or if possible, would love to see a guide based around an all rounder/beginner/returning player load out.

It is absolutely insane that you have two attachments to help improve your ADS time and only one that hurts it and your ADS time is still slower than base on that all around class. IW is on one with these negatives this year.

Thanks man for that video. I tried this gun for the first time and went 48/11, holy crap that ads time makes a huge difference in close quarters. Let me just say enemy team wasn't happy.

This gun is like a combo of the Aug, the acr, and the G36. It hits all checks and does brutal damage mid range. I selected it just to go through the challenges, but it's now my favorite AR.
This gun is better at being an SMG than the smg versioj of this gun is.
the mx9 is like a worse version of the stb

I found this gun to be my favorite assault rifle in 6v6 games. I tend to build it for more recoil control and ammo capacity as i like to be able to engage at nearly all distances. Also my main game types i play are KC, Hardpoint and Headquarters
Here's my build:
Cronen Mini Red Dot
18" Bruen Guerilla Barrel
FSS Sharfin 90 Underbarrell (was using FTAC Ripper but upon further testing after seeing your vid i like the sharkfin more)
42 Round Mag
Schlager TTF3 Riser Comb
This build doesn't give me any increased range but the added recoil control helped me deal with long range engagements. I also play MnK if that helps anyone else seeing this comment
My favorite in the game by far and the iron sights are sexy since they remind of the MW3 Acr a lil bit

One of my peeves about this gun is how it doesn’t lock back on empty like an m4. IRL you can use the charging handle to finish the reload but you can actually just extend your thumb and as soon as the magazine seats it hits the little ramp shaped lever and that closes the bolt

In the Barrel ranges did you mess up the graphic or does the Bruen s620 and rear guard just not increase the 3 shot kill range at all?

Hey Ace, any plans to make some loadouts for Ground War? I’m curious what you’d recommend as the best sniper rifle and sniper support in particular.
Are you going to be making any tuning setup videos? I found that you can use the 24” Bruen barrel and then make up the ads time by tuning the other attachments.

Hey Ace! I hope you see this and add this to your list of things to point out to the devs, but I think it would be really useful to have a loadout preset for each gun. Let me explain... You have to constantly go through all guns over and over if you are going for attachments and camos. It would be really useful to have a preset of attachments that you like on each gun as a base. then it would be easy to just change your guns without having to recall all you attachments that you liked on those specific weapons. thx for your time!
How much range do you lose with the Echoline GE-X suppressor ? It’s only listed con is damage range.

I just started leveling the stb I already knew it was insane from the competitive side but i didn’t realize how short the range is, it really feels more like an smg but I thought it would be higher than average mobility stats to compensate the lack of range compare to most if not all other ar
Working through this right now. It’s powerful up close but a lot of hit markers at long but I don’t have it full level yet
Aside from the HK416 which seems strangely absent from most modern FPS games, the AUG is probably my favorite assault rifle, and remarkably modern/futuristic looking for a gun of its age.
I think it would be neat to include some hidden weapons in the gun guides. Like you can technically build the HAMR with the SCAR-H or an HK-11 with the G3.
Love this one in its Burst version in previous games....

My time with this gun was pretty limited. I leveled it up to 3 to unlock something (I don't remember what), and then pretty much haven't touched it since. I'm gonna have to give it another serious shot now though! But that's one thing I really like about this game so far, there are a lot of viable and fun weapons to use, instead of feeling restricted to the "meta" guns only - at least if you hope to perform well and compete.
Just hope sbmm doesn’t get you because you will only be in lobbies against meta gun sweats
Now that tuning is back, is it still not useful?
I wondered (and I think you are the best person to ask that) if it makes sense to take some attachments just for the tuning mechanic. So for example if I take a grip that has as only negative effect worse hip fire and you don't hip fire with that weapon in general. Then you tune that grip for ADS you should be overall better then before or do I miss something here?

Watch out for tuning cause it apparently crashes the game.
There seems to be a typo with the damage range chart for the barrels - the bottom 20% and 30% range increases for the Bruen 24.4" and 508mm rear guard aren't showing the correct green/yellow/red bars. So for reference:
24.4" Bruen range increase:
3 shot kill: 0m - 19.5m (+4.5m over base)
4 shot kill: 19.5m - 35.8m (+8.3m over base)
5 shot kill/4 shot kill upper torso only: 35.8m - 61.1m (+14.1m over base)
6 shot kill: 61.1m+
508mm rear guard range increase is same as FTAC FB20 in the chart in the video.
Would you consider making a video about the changes certain barrels/muzzles do? I often find on many of the guns there are two barrels or muzzles that state they do the exact same thing which is improve horizontal & vertical recoils or aiming stability or something of that nature yet I’m always unsure which to use since they both state they do the same things. Similar to how you broke down the lasers in this game. It would be greatly appreciated, hopefully you consider it and thanks for making videos and helping the community have more knowledge about how the game works!

Okay, so you only mentioned the 40% damage reduction when talking about the semi auto mag. Does it only do reduced damage on the left thigh with the semi auto mag or all the time? Just curious about that strange bug lol

What does 0-2-0-2 mean for Head/Neck shots?
I feel like the stats (sprint to fire) from the mx9 and stb 556 are swapped, perhaps they will change it back or have the AR be the better smg

Hey why do sometimes i shoot someone with my bolty sniper rifle up close it doesn't one tap them when I heads up with them are the arms hit boxes in front of their character model acting like...ARMor?
Do attachments work properly? I recon that everything that cuts down ads time doesn’t add anything! Broken? Therefore I’m not using any barrel attachments that cut down ads time. Or any attachments that do that
