EDIT: I forgot to mention that the names of the lasers may differ with some weapon classes but the effects appear to be exactly the same if you just match up the pros & cons with the ones shown in the video. The set of lasers I chose applies to most of the weapon types though.
It’s okay
Ace, i also noticed as you mention in the video about no cons shown, some other weapon attachments do as well.
I think it was a supressor at least i found
Do the ammo type next please
Thanks for the long hours you are putting in!
On bolt action rifles what is the rechambering accuracy and speed do? Ok I get speed is basically fire rate, but reloading accuracy makes no sense.
Love the canted laser simply for how much it opens up my view while feeling like i have a pinpoint accurate hipfire gun when in fact...i am not hipfiring
Same, first time using it on my AK 74 U, dropped MGB on Fortress. Dominated multiple games after with 50 - 60 bomb games and single digit deaths. I actually like it a lot.
I know you've heard this already but the community truly appreciates this testing. 100% accurate or not it's the starting point we noobs need in a series that's got plenty of veterans dominating the game.
It also may not seem like a huge deal to have these visible dots or laser beams, but I have gotten a lot of kills just by being a bit more suspicious that someone may be in the same building as me because I saw a laser.
True, i used to always use the fss laser, but i kept noticing that enemies were seeing my laser in kill cams and it was getting me killed
Yeah its definitely a trade off. I always run a laser and have been killed a few times through smoke; it makes the laser even more visible.
@@airsoftpopcorn it’s definitely not a laser made for extensive preaiming
The thing about the visible lasers is you can't play like you normally would. If you have one that activates on ADS you should be waiting until you see your target to ADS (no more watching corners or sightlines). If you have one visible on the hip then you have to be ADSing if you ever post up for even a moment.
It's weird to play like this especially for the ADS lasers but their advantage is so huge and if you can eliminate the downside you'll be a god.
@@airsoftpopcorn Aim for the corner rather than around the corner. Basically just make sure that your laser is obstructed by something, and then have the muscle memory to quickly flick to the enemy once they pop out.
The Canted laser can't be beaten on close-range guns. Average improvement across the board, but the fact that you have literally nothing obstructing your view is too valuable, and it saves the optics attachment slot too.
Why would you ever have an Optic Sight ?
The laser of the canted isn't always clear for mid range. But yes I imagine it's very good for short range.
@@oolooo I almost exclusively use iron sights in MP but for groundwar etc optics like the VLK are fantastic for ARs. Red dots are nice for SMGs and ARs. Long range scopes for longer range weapons etc.
Also some weapons have horrifically bad iron sights. Like the PDSW. It has an iron sight of which the center pin is so fkn fat it can obstruct the entire enemy esp if you're used to aiming for the chest and head.
But yes for 6v6 it's usually disadvantageous to use a red dot. Since you lose an attachment slot and gain longer ADS time. But even then there are some people who just play a lot better with an red dots etc. And I sorta get it. Not every iron sight is decent and a bright red, green or blue dot just also makes it much easier to aim and track your enemy in different circumstances while an iron sight with the immense visual recoil we already have can be hard to controll on a high recoil weapon esp of the weapon or sight obstructs much of the view. It's easy to lose track of your enemy in a dark room looking at a bad dark iron sight that also covers 50%< of your view.
I was playing with the PDSW and couldn't track enemies with the iron sight for the life of me. I only ever use iron sights in MP so it was annoying. Then i out the first and worst sight attachment (a rail attachment. It also has a sight attachment slot while the tail seems to do the same so I'm not sure what's up with that but the rail doesn't seem to affect ADS.. but the iron sight is really ugly and small)
Anyway instantly played 4 times better with the red dot. Because that's how bad the iron sights wete for me
Also good since it has no visual recoil
@@oolooo For better visibility? What kind of question is that lmao.
I think it would be a great idea for you to do a short of the different sizes of optic glint, because some optics say small glint, or large glint and so on, so it’d be nice to see the differences but it doesn’t sound like a topic for a full video, just an idea.
Yep. And I’m 99 percent sure there is a glitch where scopes don’t show glint at all, even high view optics
@@NPFfumbi First of all snipers...irritating game ruiners and window dwellers.I have often been directly facing a sniper and been shot...no glint.🤬
@@spandel100 sounds like a skill issue
@@draqon8094 Please explain how that can possibly be a skill issue. Most likely bugs.

This is beyond useful. The amount of time's I've read through all the lasers and having no idea which one is best for my gun. Thanks ace!
Dude your passion and dedication to COD is just wonderful to watch. I love getting to know all of the little details about each new COD game due to your incredibly thorough approach. Keep up the phenomenal work my man
It is literally his job to do this now.
@@FunkMonk-zy5jq yes and he does a good job
The canted laser seems insane whenever I use it. I hit shots I normally wouldn't
I really appreciate your ability to effectively communicate. You’re very well spoken and have a great pace. Thank you. These videos are helpful!
Canted laser is my favorite thing in the game. Simply amazing on many guns. Quickscopiing check, making lmgs and marksman rifles able to run and gun check. Just awesome when you dial in the attachments for agressive play
AGREED, I am a very aggressive player and first time using the canted laser I dropped MGB first game and had multiple 50-60 bomb games afterwards with single digit deaths. I really like it on the 74u, might try other weapons.
Thank you for the continued thorough analysis! Looking forward to your videos daily
Great job man. Really appreciate how much work you put into these guides.
I really like the attachment approach because there are so many guns it allows me to be able to watch each while I wait on the guns. I'm sure you're busy but figured I would mention it. Thank you for your time doing the videos
Thank you Ace for providing quality content as usual. Been watching you since 2019 when I first came across your M4 video. Please keep up your wonderful hardwork!
Excellent information and great video Ace! Thanks to this, I went and leveled up the EBR this morning to unlock the OLE-V laser. Would love some more comparison / "best of" attachment vids to help prioritize which guns we should be leveling up for unlocks
I knew this video had to be coming soon. thank you!
Omg I can't stop watching his videos since I started playing COD (MW2019). He gives me every information that I wanna know.
I've noticed, the laser does actually show where your looking. I know it says that in the description, but I always kind of ignored the downside. During some quieter moments in matches, you can actually see lasers around the map.
As someone who uses lasers all the time, this was extremely helpful. Thank you for the amazing work you are doing !
Thanks for the Video and Testing. Was looking for an explanation regarding Lasers in General. Great Detailed info and awesome stat graphs! o7
so helpful on the visibility bit thank you!
Man this info is amazing! I'm sharing this to my team! Thanks for the vid
ace! as always, your effort is very well appreciated! Thank you!
Super helpful info, thanks!
killin it ace! thank you
i was generally always using that best laser before this video bc it seemed the best for my aggressive playstyle, but it was good to learn about the varying visibility of the lasers and about that one that's best for hipfire.
A chart of each laser and their pros and cons would have been really helpful here, so we can see all the stat changes for all lasers on screen at once
Honestly, what would we do without you! Amazing stuff.
With MW19 the stats were incorrect a lot of the time, but the limited choice compared to this, meant that at least you could reason about the pros and cons. With this the choice is just overwhelming/confusing..so thank goodness we have you!
I see such informative video, I first hit that like and then I start enjoying
Thanks for the video Ace
I love the extra learning curve and skill ceiling that comes from using these laser and flashlight attachments. The downsides are not a typical stat bar decrease so it can change the way you behave.
Would love a compensator vid like this. Thank you for the vids
Awesome job with these videos as always Ace. One thing I would suggest is maybe st the end of these videos when you pic your favorites could you include how to unlock those attachments. It saves everyone a google search or time searching through menus in game to figure out how to grind for the attachments.
I love the blue ones!
soley for cosmetic reasons. Goes so nice with the 'solid white' camo
FSS OLE-V LASER is unlocked at lvl 10 of the EBR-14 fyi
Thank you!
Appreciate your hard work on these videos ace. Dam that so overly complicated
The laser which doesnt have any negatives is the best IMO
I think you have to get the Signal sniper to like level 3 to get that laser.
@@mrcrossemup6454 Yup. Pick one up off the ground unless you want to wait til level 44 like me.
@@SullySadface you just need to get the Lockwood shotgun to level 4
I agree.. some guns have a non visible laser that increases ads or stability and there is one with increased hip fire recoil plus accuracy.. if u can get those benefits without a visible laser it’s proly the play so your opponent won’t see u coming with a bright green laser
@@zackhayes1268 >mfw shotguns
I'll definitely be adding lasers more often, thanks!
Used the 1MW Laser early and then dove for the Dr. Laser after that and I think that's what I'm keeping. I play slow and pre-aim nearly all of my corners in a room sweep sort of mentality so not having as much extra visibility helps a ton.
Damn!!! Thats really good to know about the lasers that dont have cons!! Ace you are the G.O.A.T! Now im gonna rock those lasers that dont show the laser beams for that extra aiming stability
Questions answered, thank you!
I like the canted laser because I'm trying to recreate the chainsaw from Ghosts and MW2019. It's really fun running around with a high capacity mag and not aiming in the traditional sense, especially with incendiary rounds.
I was just thinking about laser sights when this video popped up. Thank you for doing visibility tests with the lasers and flashlights! I run the FSS OLE V on all my classes and I was wondering how visible it was to the enemy.
Same here brother
It's bad man I had to remove them
Great guide
Amazing video thank you.
Canted laser is my favorite attachment. Run it on every gun I can. The only situation I don’t run it when available, is for a scope instead.
You have the best informative videos. Glad I'm a sibscriber.
Amazing video jus what i needed to know, U got a Sub for that💪💪💪😎
I started using the canted laser last night and I cannot get enough of it.
0:39 this guy is running like I do in my nightmares
Lmao I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that
GREAT INFO!!! I'm taking off the Schlager from now on.
I've actually been running the ole-v since I unlocked it and have been loving it haven't looked back
Damm ! Keep this stuff coming!
I was as confused as well - lol - Thanks! I wasn't using any prior due to not knowing, Ill try now
Glad to know they finally fixed descriptions on something xD
I've been waiting for this one !
Thanks, for good video. Actually would have been nice to see the spreadsheet with all criteria summarized
Thank you ace for validating my suspicion that the fss ole laser is there best overall. I’ve been putting it on every weapon.
The ADS one with no downside. Cute little blue laser dot on ADS and it's godly.
Have been using the canted laser on the PSG-1 and it is heaps of fun. With a 2 shot kill on most 6v6 maps and good enough accuracy from the laser it is surprisingly affective, you just need to be aware of your laser discipline and try not to flag lanes or corners when approaching.
Yes, please, Ace! 👏🏻
I was always using FSS OLE-V Laser for snipers, ARs and LMGs as felt clearly better than Laz-44 V3 but others weren't which made me doubt myself. Thanks for proving that I was right all along xD
Thanks for that red arrow in the thumbnail. I'd have been utterly clueless without it.
Thank you for clearing this up. I was wondering what “visible at the hip” meant in game.
I haven’t played CoD since BO2, but now that I’m coming back it’s nice to have another RUclipsr going over the numbers like XboxAhoy used to do. Very much appreciated.
I really love your content, I don't know if you did some in previous cod/ battlefield but oh my!
Be sure that you get a subscriber ;)
Like I said in a previous video The "FSS OLE" is the best laser attachment. It has 3 benefits compared to all the rest and does the most. Also, the red laser I find is less visible than the Green one on Corio.
Of course, the negative is the visibility. But it only happens when aiming, so at least you're not showing just running around the map.
It is definitely one of the best attachments to use. Because there is no negative put on the gun, but you get a lot of positives. I can feel it's much faster in ADS and stability when using it.
At least that is my opinion.
Looking forward to the best muzzle attachments as a lot of them do the exact same thing but one may do it better than the other in testing 😅
Love the vids. U should make a video on the lack of content to grind for other than the Orion camo theres really nothing to grind for in Multiplayer. In older cods there were calling cards and emblems to grind for but in this game no one actually sees it in the pre game lobby. There also used to be real prestiges to grind for but now theres the seasonal level system. Also there used to be operator skins to grind for but now there only in bundles for money. Instead of having the weapon blueprints in bundles I feel we should be able to complete challenges for them as well as the charms and other cosmetics like finishing moves. I miss bo3s hero armor after grinding each operator as well as vanguards operator system too. I also remember in bo1 grinding for a high kd so when ppl viewed your combat record they could see that but now they took that system away and weekly leaderboards need to return.
Appreciate Ya brother!🤝
Great video as always ace, but I would have appreciated a small section talking about the main upside to using the canted laser in the first place, which is visibility when aiming. The laser turns off when sprinting anyway, so as someone who runs and guns, that laser always being visible is not much of an issue. The reduction of muzzle flash affecting your vision and the full screen field of view you get without a sight interfering is amazing for visibility and awareness. Imo it's the best sight in the game.
lasers are a heat score lol people can see it half way across the map 😂
I find it pretty hard to pick out in ads but my eyesight is a bit poor
Exactly why I use it, plus it makes me feel like a badass.
@@-chase- not when sprinting, they turn off
it's definitely helpful but my eyesight is dogshit so i lose track of the laser at anything but ultra close ranges so i can't use it
came back to this video for more info, like a treeeasure trove lol ty
Excellent video! Do you plan on comparing all the muzzles that seem to do the exact same thing too?
I'm interested in running hipfire lasers on builds that like to hold lanes, as sometimes you don't have time to ADS if you're being flanked. This seems particularly useful for sidearms and sniper rifles.
Love that you and jackfrags give each other a shout out in your videos
I was thinking about the series, and thought that we really needed attachment category guides more than we needed gun guides. Most of the basic info on the guns is out there and easy enough to parse, but the attachments are basically a mystery.
I was already using the FSS laser on all my setups, since it had the most stated upsides as an ads laser. It feels extremely rare to catch someone due to a laser exposing them in practice.
With some basic awareness of laser visibility, it should become a non-issue the vast majority of the time.
I'm actually loving the canted on the lmgs
You should add a note somewhere mentioning that lasers - I'm pretty sure all of them, but most notably the canted vibro dot - are turned off when you switch to an underbarrel weapon like a GL or the masterkey, which can be really useful for keeping your laser discreet and only on when necessary.
Thanks Ace.
Another downside to the flashlights from my experience was that while coming up to a door, that cone of light can shine right through it revealing your position that someone is on the other side. It don't appear that way on your screen, but the killcams of enemies show it going through and they certainly can tell if you are on the other side.
I think a funny tactical equipment could be a deployable laser that is really bright that could be placed and used as a distraction in gunfights to get the enemy to initially look at a different place from where you are.
I just do not know how they could make it placeable
add a laser to the inflatable decoy
Thats called a "green/red beam dazzler" in the real military.
Whoa the laser look so real 😍 but thank you i know which one a better
Looking forward to a video on that first pistol it’s good😂
Yeah I use the FSS a lot. It helps a lot to nullify any of the other negatives of other attachments.
Wish they could make a night map;flashlight, laser, NVG,and flash bang, just imagine that
They had a whole night mode in 2019. It tanked hard and no one played it. It left rotation on week 2 and only came back a few times briefly.
Black and Gold Came out... And it's not as great as we all would've hoped.
As an aggressive style player. I’ve been leaning towards using the laser, stock and rear grip attachments that give added ads speed and stf speeds. Then I’ll throw on a barrel for added bullet velocity and a under barrel grip for better recoil control.
thank god for these videos , but also thank god the "stats" ingame do seem to reflect most of the raw stats Xclusive pulled. ive been using the Olev Laser since day 1 since it seemed to have the biggest impact to the handling stat bar, its too good not to throw on every build
Videos like these is what alienates the community into not doing their own research and end up using what some random told them to online
Dr Laser Box sounds like a RUclips DJ name
the canted laser sight is really fun when using semi-auto weapons/firing
I like the blue laser on the Deagle.
I'm messing around with a complete hipfire auto pistol build, with the visible hipfire laser. I get smoked a lot of the time, but it's pretty fun to melt people up close
Some people might not know but some attachment have identical pros and cons to others with the exception of the stats' order.
Stats starting at the top being the most buffs/nerfs in that category while the bottom ones having the least buffs/nerfs to the category.
I push like before i watch your videoes ace 😅
It's funny how visible the fss ole-v laser is even at distance on ground war maps.
I unlocked the FSS OLE-V very early on by leveling the EBR and have been using it on every gun. Probably the best overall attachment in the game, helping with ADS, sprintout, and aiming stability.
Until it gets you killed
Ive been using the OLE-V on every gun since day 1 and even though other people can see it I havent struggled with the visibility so far
The canted laser is just so much fun
I use exclusively the canted. No need for a scope, great ads visibility and good buff
