    I got a notification that someone asked a question on here, wondering about how to make rectangle selection sizes. I can't see the comment here, but will answer the question anyways. As long as you have a 3x4, or 12x8 arraignment it will select square or rectangle shapes. The engine divides your sprite sheet evenly by the number of rows and columns. It will divide a full sprite sheet by 12 columns and 8 rows, and a single sprite sheet (with a $ in the file name) by 3 columns and 4 rows evenly.

      Make sure you evenly space your sprites on the sheets according to the arrangement sown in the vid, 3x4 for a single sprite sheet and 12x8 for a full sprites sheet. Also, make sure if you are using a single sprite sheet to preface the file name with !.

    • @teasjams6895

      It shifts it up a few pixels, so when you're standing in front of an inanimate object it doesn't look like you're stepping on it.

    how can I change the size of the single square 48X48.
    I try to explain
    if I want a npc that is twice taller than the normal size, how I have to configure the box? and how the grid?

    • @teasjams6895
      @teasjams6895  5 лет назад +2

      If you are talking about a single character sprite sheet, to make a character taller you just multiply the single character height you want by 4, if you are making an entire sheets for multiple npcs, you would multiply the single character height by 8. (For example, a single sprite sheet with an npc twice as tall: 48x2 = 96(height of npc), 96x4= 384(times 4 directions; up, down, right and left). So the height of your sprite sheet would total 384, and the width would remain the same (48x3=144) You sprite sheet would be 144x384.)
