  • Candy Apple TV: Baby Shower Candy Apples for BOTH Genders will be shown in this candy apple tutorial. I will show you how to make pink and blue baby shower candy apples in one batch, using the candy apple recipe 6-4-1. I used Hobby Lobby's soft pink gel food coloring for the PINK CANDY APPLES, and Hobby Lobby's Navy Blue and Royal Blue for the BLUE CANDY APPLES! There are so many great candy apple recipes out there, but I find myself only making the candy apple recipe my customers absolutely love. After all, I want to make sure my customers love their candy apples all the way down to the last bite. I added my vanilla in at 280 degrees because I had forgot to add it at the beginning.
This is Candy Apple TV, and I’m your host Diy Queen Diva.
These are non-thick candy apples with a perfect crunch. I'm not trying to brag or anything, but this is the best candy apple recipe! I didn't realize so many people needed help with making over 8 apples, until I was getting messages from my beautiful Queen Diva's! When they started reaching out to me about not being able to make over 6-8 candy apples before their candy hardens or gets too thick, I had to come and do a tutorial on the Candy Apple Recipe 6-4-1. I know this particular problem all too well, and guarantee you will NEVER have this issue again! This is why I am going to show you how to make candy apples from home with this candy apple recipe 6-4-1.
When I first started making candy apples two years ago, I would have two pots on the stove to make just one dozen of candy apples. When I would use the 311 candy apple recipe, or the 411 candy apple recipe I would only get about 6-8 apples although they are great recipes. However, my candy would harden and I wouldn't have enough candy to continue dipping the rest of my apples. I had to come up with a solution. Doubling the recipe seems like too much sugar and corn syrup for me.
I had to get in the kitchen and figure out a better solution to the candy apple mixture. Now it's perfect! My candy apples always comes out perfect using this candy apple recipe. I am always able to dip all of my candy apples without getting another pot. The candy apple recipe:
    6 cups sugar
4 cups water (4 is better to me, because it helps the candy to thin down)
    1 cup corn syrup
    1 TBSP regular flavor
With this recipe your customers will enjoy your candy apples, because the candy is not too thick. This candy apple recipe will get you 24 (small/medium) candy apples in one batch with the perfect crunch!
It is my pleasure to give you the best candy apple tutorial so you can learn how to make candy apples at home. Pretty much learning how to make candy apples with sugar, water, and corn syrup will be a great way to get your family involved in the kitchen. Try experimenting with different gel food colors, because this will give you the practice on how to make candy apples any color. I love the Hobby Lobby brand gel food colors. Again, I used Hobby Lobby's soft pink, royal blue, and navy blue gel food coloring.

This receipe really tried my patience...I was done, I was mad, swore up and down that I was never going to use this receipe again because it was taking soooooo long to get to 300 degrees and when it was finally time to dip my apples, I'd absolutely LOVED this receipe. I was able to cover 15 apples successfully and still have some leftover to dip about 2-3 more. This will be the receipe I use moving forward. Thank you ma'am...thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Finally a receipe that actually works!!!

Hello, Taniel. I'm glad you enjoy using the 6-4-1 candy apple recipe. Nope, you don't have to worry about your candy mixture getting too hard and having to reheat your candy before you finish dipping up to 24 candy apples. I'm sure your customers loved them as well too. My customers always want the 6-4-1 candy apple recipe.

    • @DIYQUEENDIVA

Try to get a window AC and a dehumidifier to place in the kitchen. I’ll look later on if I can find an AC on sale for under $100 because it’s getting ready to be Fall soon.
If you happen to try to make them, be sure to use Hi-Sweet dry corn syrup. Bag them and put them in the refrigerator right away but there’s a high possibility your candy apples might get sticky before bagging them. The way you say your house is hot, there’s also a possibility they might melt before bagging them.
Try about 3 first and put a fan in there if an ac or dehumidifier is not an option to see what happens before trying to make them for the church and your daughters birthday party. This way you’ll know. I hope this helps you.💕

It'll be about 35 minutes or longer. It just depends on how hot your stove gets, but don't turn it up too high because your candy can burn. Don't go no higher than 5.
