Thank you so much i just removed the wax from 3 apples (first time doing ot) so after i dry left them on my table a few hours pass by and when I looked at them i saw them turning brown i got scared i thought maybe because of the hot water 🤣 so i start searching how to remove wax from apples without using how water, so by searching it brought me to your channel and let me tell you i got relief cause you mention that they will turn brown then after seeing that brown apple but after you cut it i feel much better. I just said same
glad to see your video, I was wondering why people where not doing it your way by heating the surface of the apples and remove it with a towel while warm... other people start brushing it with baking soda and lemon that only ads up unnecessary work because neither lemon or soda dissolves wax ,only the soda acts like a scrub to get the wax off.... thanks.
Hi love your video! If you are making caramel apples so you want to keep the green on it, how would you clean with baking soda and vinegar?
Thie was helpful! 👍
Thank you
I love this channel! New Subscriber!

Is there a point to boil the apples if you use Veggie Wash for removing the wax?
RO I LOVE YOUR CLASSES
I was wondering why your apples looked a little ugly on the out side. Smart girl ♥️. Thanks!
Good morning Ro ‘😍. I thank you for sharing this again. But this was my first cleaning process except I always dipping one at a time. I actually like the cold water with ice cool down better because it stops the cooking process for me. I have you to thank for that tip. Because in the warmer months the apples 🍏 keeps longer using the cool down. I noticed the differences in my apples..... Thanks for sharing this will help someone. Great review too... Thanks for for all you do Ro’😍. May God bless you and your family 🙏🏿😘......
Cynthia Cromer the cool down method? What exactly do you do
Cathy Harrell Hi how are you? It’s just have a bowl or your sink with cold water 💦 & a ice cubes. Like a big glass of cold ice water. Taking apples 🍏 from hot water, straight to the ice bath 🛀. I leave mines in the cold water 💦 while I clean the pot and stove. Then I dry each apple 🍏I have a tray just for the I line with paper towels and I place the apples in a cool place for 48hrs or more..... Ro’ 😍 also have a video with this It’s like the third or fourth video I think 🤔...
How do you get rid of the stem properly?
New subscriber, I've never made candy apples but would like to.
So informal thank you so much
Dd_lovely ❤️😉
Hi thank for sharing your videos with us, I have a question after we clean the apple and let 48 hours pass. Do I leave it out at room temperature or put the in the refrigerator?
How does it feel to know u bless sooo many people with a hustle the can pay bills with??
Hello there. How long will the apple last after putting the stick in and dipping?
Does the apple type matter such as a green apple will it be sweeter than a red apple?
Do you have to let the sap come out even if its caramel apples? Or just remove the wax and ready to go?
So, what if you have organic apples that you picked yourself that do not have wax on them? Do you still recommend cleaning the apples?
What if I have to do more after the first batch..can i use the same pot if it still has a little bit in it or do i need to throw that away and start over?
HI Ro!!! I am new to your channel and I love it!! My question is how many apples should you dip with your 4/1/1 candy mixture?
Would this same method work for red apples?
Can u make candied apples 2 days in advance and how to store them if u can.
Hi. I tried the method and dipped the apples but when I cug into the apple to taste it after a couple of days the apple was great but skin was a little chewy. Is that normal?
Wow that little bit of time? Ok. I thought we had to do it like 3 minutes until it changed color. So this method will let the chocolate candy coating stick without Carmel? Thank you so much I’m just learning how to make candy apples 💖
My problem was the caramel look great right after covering them but the next day the caramel all ran off the apples and was on the bottom of the wax paper. But I wasn't removing the wax. I'll try this.
And so doing this prevents bubbles forming ?
Do you need to wait 48 hrs after cleaning for caramel apples or just the candy coated?
Hi Darling! Can I use other kinds of Apples or does it have to be Granny Smith?
Can you just wipe the wax off the apples instead of boiling them?
Hi , When letting them sit for 48 hours do you refrigerate them or sat out room temperature
why do you put the apple in hot water? Is this only for green or red litter? how long does it last without melting?
Do you have clean apples from the apple farm before dipping?
hello for example if l do my cleaning method that Monday. Wednesday are Thursday which day is when. l wip with a damp cloth then wip with a papper towel then put my stick in the Apple wip around the stick good then dip
Helen Grant Yes correct also keep in mind you don't have to do it on that exact day so if you go a extra day is fine just for example if you don't get to the apples in time but keep in mind you do have a order and if it's for order you want to make sure you dip your apples accordingly but you got it absolutely right
Always used this method and never got bubbles! I tried to do it the "other" way and not boil my apples and it was BUBBLE CITY!😖👿 Good thing it was an experiment! UGH
U bout to make me negro rich omg I didn't come by ur channel by chance .. Really a destiny , I been paying 200$ for apples as a party favor for over 4 years
When cleaning the apples is it water only or do you use a little vinegar
What kind of pot do you suggest ?
I used Gala and they seeped sap out and got sticky, had to rewash them again.
Hi, You used some kind of caramel from a can when you made caramel apples. What kind is that? I always unwrapped a lot of Brach's caramels!
If I need these for Thursday and clean them tonight would it be okay or do I need to wait the whole 48 hours?
Thanks ro so l can do it the Wednesday , instead of Thursday Wright😘😘❤
Where can I buy the pot you use to make the candy ?
Hi ro so if l do the cleaning method say Monday Wednesday is when l dip
Helen Grant yes
Você é maravilhosa.
Love it! Seen another video where lady put bakin soda on a half of cut lemon and scrubbed the apple wit it what you think,? She said its extra to take off that wax is she wack? or could this help thanx love your videos
This may sound like a stupid question but, how do you get the straw ( that covers the stick) to stay in the apple without falling off? Thank you.
Daniela Pagliaro you put it over the wooden straw then put both in at the same time it should work...I have done it that way
Hi Ro! I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! Question: After you’ve cleaned your apples, can you store them in the fridge for the 48 hours, or must they stay room temperature? Thanks!
They must stay out at room temperature
@@YourSweetConnection Thank you!
😍🤩
How long I can have my apples wash before I used them?
Thank you for this insight. I think I was cleaning my apples to long. My dips are flawless. But the sugar breaks down like within hours or by the next day I will see holes. I live in Florida the heat can get very disrespectful here.
If it breaks down the next day that’s because it’s too hot I know the climate there gets hot and that’s why in the summertime I took candy apples off my list just because of that reason no matter how good you do you can follow all the measurements somewhere or another they will break down and become sticky in a hot climate
@@YourSweetConnection so freaking true 🤦🏾♀️
Wow, this video was so thorough! The only questions I had was, what if you leave your apples in the boiling water too long? Mine got a little soft on the outside. Is that bad?
Thank you and if you leave your apples in the boiling water, too long, they will become sauce and then if they’re too soft, the Kandi will not be able to Coat well on your apples. I do have another video on the cleaning process. That may also help you better understand.
48 hours what if you don’t have that much time to prepare them? Btw I’m a newbie and loving the videos
Deree Henderson I don’t usually wait the 48 using this method. Right after you boil them put them in the refrigerator abd you’ll start to see that wax after a few hours then get you some lemon juice and wipe that wax. I’ve dip them as short as I think a day or less.
Is the water a rolling boil or a small boil?
