    glad to see your video, I was wondering why people where not doing it your way by heating the surface of the apples and remove it with a towel while warm... other people start brushing it with baking soda and lemon that only ads up unnecessary work because neither lemon or soda dissolves wax ,only the soda acts like a scrub to get the wax off.... thanks.

    Good morning Ro ‘😍. I thank you for sharing this again. But this was my first cleaning process except I always dipping one at a time. I actually like the cold water with ice cool down better because it stops the cooking process for me. I have you to thank for that tip. Because in the warmer months the apples 🍏 keeps longer using the cool down. I noticed the differences in my apples..... Thanks for sharing this will help someone. Great review too... Thanks for for all you do Ro’😍. May God bless you and your family 🙏🏿😘......

    • @cecestyme7142
      @cecestyme7142 6 лет назад +2

      Cathy Harrell Hi how are you? It’s just have a bowl or your sink with cold water 💦 & a ice cubes. Like a big glass of cold ice water. Taking apples 🍏 from hot water, straight to the ice bath 🛀. I leave mines in the cold water 💦 while I clean the pot and stove. Then I dry each apple 🍏I have a tray just for the I line with paper towels and I place the apples in a cool place for 48hrs or more..... Ro’ 😍 also have a video with this It’s like the third or fourth video I think 🤔...

      Helen Grant Yes correct also keep in mind you don't have to do it on that exact day so if you go a extra day is fine just for example if you don't get to the apples in time but keep in mind you do have a order and if it's for order you want to make sure you dip your apples accordingly but you got it absolutely right

    Thank you for this insight. I think I was cleaning my apples to long. My dips are flawless. But the sugar breaks down like within hours or by the next day I will see holes. I live in Florida the heat can get very disrespectful here.

    • @YourSweetConnection
      @YourSweetConnection  3 года назад +1

      If it breaks down the next day that’s because it’s too hot I know the climate there gets hot and that’s why in the summertime I took candy apples off my list just because of that reason no matter how good you do you can follow all the measurements somewhere or another they will break down and become sticky in a hot climate

    • @YourSweetConnection

      Thank you and if you leave your apples in the boiling water, too long, they will become sauce and then if they’re too soft, the Kandi will not be able to Coat well on your apples. I do have another video on the cleaning process. That may also help you better understand.

      Deree Henderson I don’t usually wait the 48 using this method. Right after you boil them put them in the refrigerator abd you’ll start to see that wax after a few hours then get you some lemon juice and wipe that wax. I’ve dip them as short as I think a day or less.
