I bought 1/2 pound of your ocean picture stone chips, and one of the pieces came out of my tumbler shaped like a dolphin! I glued it onto a slice of blue agate, so it looks like it's leaping out of the ocean. ☺️
I was sitting here watching thinking to myself...wow those slices look like paintings of the ocean with rocks and waves! I had no idea it was called Ocean Picture Stone! How beautiful! Thank you sir for allowing us to learn so much! I absolutely love your channel!
These stones, really examplify that nature is the greatest artist. Thank you for bringing them to the public, and for once again, bringing us with you!
As always: Wishing you luck. And I am enjoying every moment of your video. Amazing what you do with Rock. Nice colors. You have a great eye. Thank you Dan. Regards 🇿🇦.
Niiiiiice! I love these picture stone episodes. It’s truly fascinating. I’m a true mineral head, and your videos are spot on astounding as far as prospecting. Well done, Dan!!
Pauly is always worth his weight in mid-grade material. That was a fantastic find, Pauly! Gotta watch your video now. thanks for sharing this on thanksgiving, Dan! Dendrites: proof geology follows chaos theory.
❤ I love your picture stone. It's gorgeous. Blows my mind to see all that beauty hiding within. Thumbs up Dan and Dana. 😲 The outside is it's natural beautiful. ✨️ but cutting it into slabs to show off its gorgeous insides 😮 wow. 😊Thumbs-up.
Hello DH, been w/ya since before your big medical problem, love what you do! Also love watching P.P., y'all be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊 P.S.: Happy T-Day to all.
Dan, you should get a mineralogical print out of what you're sending over so that you can compare it to what you get back of finished products. Many overseas companies will scare you by sending back knock off products because they know they can sell the more rare Originals for a lot more
Dan, I was asked to line the bottom of a pool on Belvedere island with exactly the same stone. The procedure is as follows: 1) install fiber optic cable in bedded in a special epoxy layer. Then use a white water clear epoxy to install the 1/4” thick stone over fiber optics.the joints are a flexible semitransparent urethane. The fiber optics runs to a light head giving off a nice night time effect.
Certain bits of the slabs would be amazing bases for painting into a beach scape scene, maybe find a way to work in some gold leaf. That would look great on a shelf or wall.
Gorgeous results there, Dan. The sphere at 17:49 almost looks like a satellite photo of a tiny, overpopulated planet (perhaps Earth, the way we're going) or, an island that's been completely built up. Okay, maybe my imagination is getting carried away. Regardless, they're very cool. It's just a shame the exchange rate and shipping costs are so high here in Aotearoa-New Zealand, or I'd be going crazy on your site. Which must've been inundated because it took a good fifteen minutes before I could get into it.
I love watching Dan's videos their always great I wish I made more money to support him on Patrion unfortunately i barely make enough to get by but the best I can do is a thumbs up witch I give all of his videos because he deserves it at the least. And if you read this Dan I got an idea for some of your adventures why not get an off road wagon to help your back you could pull it to help you with stuff they make heavy duty ones and if im not mistaken self driving ones wouldn't hurt to look into and try. Again love your videos and can't wait to see the next
Hi Dan. How magical are those stones you havested. Im in Ontario, we have quartz up north .And other rocks. But nothing like that. There beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Love from Ontario, 🇨🇦 🏔🪨💞
Decided to do some Christmas shopping on your site Dan. Beautiful stuff! I especially like the towers and spheres of BC Ocean Stone. Cool designs! Love your videos too!
Here's me watching this video...."oooh", "wow", oh!", "whaaat!?", "amazing", "God is an awesome creator". Congratulations on the find. Thanks for taking me along.
As a question for you, would it be profitable for you to make your subgrade picture stone, or the other types of stone into tiles, so woodworkers, or metal workers could put the tiles into tabletops? I'm thinking there might be a bit of waste product that might be usable for that type of project, if it could be economical for you and the customer. Also, would a company that grinds stone into a powder for inlay projects be interested in the waste stone?
You should use a trash pump and a het nozel to clear away all the dirt then use diamond wire to cut chunks off. You can probably make a diamond wire attachment for a chainsaw or use a tractor drive attachment on a tractor or lawnmower to run the wire around large bolders or shelfs using a comcrete saw to cut in then the diamomd wire to take off blocks at a time.
Paulie's such a weirdo lol, love him. And that chunk he pulled out at the start had some beautiful cuts in it! Ocean picture stone blows my mind sometimes

Trust me Chris knows what he is doing, and works with a single factory that he trusts and visits to make sure things are going as he wants.

Make a wood sled and use a winch to move those big rocks. And a ramp to winch them on the truck!!
