Last year (my first full year), I started listing Christmas designs in July. I think it helped. In Q4 (2023), I made $180,000 in revenue. I’m already selling Christmas shirts now so I think it’s a good strategy to start in July and continue through September. I made a lot of designs but only a handful were selling like crazy. You never really know what will take off. Sometimes I’m surprised by it 😅 Hoping to do even better this Q4.

Do you keep listings at breakeven pricing until each one ranks or do you leave it there for a set period of time. I assume we should leave them at breakeven pricing until they rank even if they never do. How do you determine where they are ranking? I plan to start getting into Christmas stuff mid August. Finishing up with Halloween stuff by then. It takes me longer to do everything. Busy SAHM. So I plan to aim for 8 listings each week. Hope to get between 60-80 listings up! 🙂👍🏼
Also have to keep shipping times in mind. So that may add a week or two to make sure Christmas gifts get delivered in time for customer.

Loved the video! Can you please share if there's a easier way of doing listings or bulk listings AFTER researching the designs/items? Can you please share your system you did for listings? I saw your previous videos with the preliminary info etc. but wondered if there's a system to pump it out. I do block timing with my listings but still find it challenging to get listings out.
This one requires time. Once you know what designs you need to create and have your listing templates, you will have to put in the time create them.
I did leverage purchased clip arts a lot as the base of many designs. This helped things go faster, but it was still manual creating the complete design.

Hey Stephen, quick question for you regarding Hello Custom! I want to sign up but all of my custom products that I have listed on Etsy I removed the SKU so that when the orders sync with my Printify, they go to my "other orders" tab. If I wanted to sync those with Hello Custom, is there a way to do so if the SKU isn't in my listing on Etsy? I could always just add the SKU on Etsy, but I'm not sure how I would get it over to Hello Custom since I didn't originally list the item with a SKU. Hope what I am trying to ask makes sense, lol. And hope you see my comment! Thank you so much for the amazing content you put out!

Great video! Do you have any advice for the new personalization rules that Etsy recently published? Do we need to take a photo of the actual item? Order a sample for every design?!!! I’m so confused 😅
As long as you are not selling a blank product that says "Your Text Here," then you are good. If you are selling actual designs with personalized elements, then you are good to use mockups. I hope that helps!

Will a Hello Custom subscription work with multiple Etsy shops? Can Hello Custom use 2 lines for a date? For example the 1st line: June 5, the 2nd line: 1974-2024? Or can it put 1 line of date and 2 years: June 5, 1974-2024? Also, how long will the Lifetime deal be available to purchase? Thank you

Hey, great video! what do you mean product "template"?
For each new product type you sell, you will need to create a new listing image template. For example, the thumbnail image, how to order images, social proof image, feature/benefit image, love it guarantee image, etc.
@@HelloCustom do you usually try to sell the same colors so it'd be faster to run through the template? (in my case - sweatshirts)
I'm already adding Halloween and fall items to my shop. Should I be running ads on these listings now or wait til it's closer to the time when more people will be searching for them?

Does hello custom work with tiktok shop?
Currently, there is not a way for a customer to enter personalization details on a per product basis with TikTok shop, so we have not integrated with them yet. When they add this ability, we will 100% integrate with them.

How do you generate income if you are pricing at break even and paying for Etsy ads?
You don't generate income on the item while you're at break even. You don't make money, you don't lose money. His strategy is to use break even to help rank and get on page 1 faster, then increase the price after you've ranked. So you wouldn't start making income/profit until after you increase the price above break even.

This was me, but I took the plunge in Aug 2023 and so far I’m fine. Been selling. Follow all the rules and be serious about it. You will be fine.
