Kurt Cobain was a multi-media powerhouse: a filmmaker, a songwriter, a drummer, photographer, tagger, guitarist, vocalist, painter, writer, editor, storyteller, graphic artist, and music producer, to name a few of the hats he liked to wear.
They say Kurt Cobain used H to help relieve stomach pain. I’m thinking maybe he used it to help with the emotional pain and turmoil. Once he was addicted it didn’t matter why. Once H gets a grip on one they lose control of their life. RIP Kurt Cobain
Kurt did probably use it for those problems but I he wasn't on heroin like people think there towards the end of his life. Kurt was taking Suboxone and it blocks heroin and opiates. He went home that morning early to find people in his house partying. He asked everyone to please leave but that wasn't the case. The truth is coming Dan...
These things will always be real and real makes good art. But while adversity played a major part in the brilliance and relatability of his music, he did die very young because he wasn’t ok it didn’t cure it.
I first seen the lovebuzz single back in 1990 in Cincinnati Ohio. Also I love the line and smells like teen Spirit when it says here we are now entertain us because that's what bands were looking to achieve. Because that's what you wanted to be entertained by the crowd in front of you
My problem with him is he took liberties with Kurt’s story and I think exaggerated his relationship with Kurt , but I heard he just died recently so I shouldn’t speak ill of the dead. I think his heart was in the right place and I know he truly cared about Kurt and the music so RIP Charles cross
What this documentary didn't research was that Kurt had a stomach ailment for years. That's why he wrote his songs the way he did, PAIN. There is a MTV interview about this ailment in RUclips . After it was fix, he was fine with the fame. And he was going to divorce CL and take custody of his daughter. Make one more album, with a plan release sometime in 1995, tour, then dissolved the band. Kurt knew of Daves aspiration to start a new band.
*This may be true, but I think he used the stomach ailment to give a distraction from his much more illegal vice. He may've had the condition, but the guy 'cried wolf' so many times that the truth became indistinguishable from distortion and flat out lying. He was a great lyricist, competent musician and very mixed-up individual. That much is undeniable*
@@williamdixon-gk2skAnd I'm pretty sure it was around the when Leland Cobain, Kurt's Grandfather died? Or maybe 2008? But yeah this is definitely going 2004. I'm about halfway in now but it's really good!
To TRULY play NIRVANER songs!... There are a LOT of little tricks and techniques behind the WAY you play it to make it GENUINELY sound just like Kurdt. There's a WHOLE side to his playing that no one ever speaks about. Plus... simply his writing and choice of notes and chords (or which notes to exclude) is just a WHOLE world of genius into its own! 🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🍻🍻🐒
@@derekgregg9009 at least we noticed it. Surprised no one else seems to have mentioned it either. Nirvana’s music kicks arse but these are nothing more than unflattering parodies. Reduces the quality of the doc straight away.
They actually make his voice sound out of tune as though he can’t get to the note. Fckn annoying facsimiles. Some of the tunes are also sped up which robs them of their pregnant pauses which were so dramatic in the music.
Yes that's right Kurt is left handed guitar player and showing his face when it gets closer it's a little blurry so u can't really see him that don't look like him he playing to slow and over and over on one guitar string
Why are they crediting Krist and Chad for writing? Chad can't have co-written Floyd the Barber since they hadn't even met him yet when it was recorded with Dale Crover.
8:20 Kurt magically became right handed ?? Same thing at 8:54, 10:07 etc (won't point out everytime this happens). So you reenact Kurt's performance, with a right handed player, it's not sayed in the end generic and nobody point it out ?!!! Just annoying to watch fakes !
What about the tapes when he talks about his first suicide attempt? What about when he was going to jump to his death on stage? The overdose in Rome most likely an attempt too. People around him, like Krist, saying he was never the same after that. Sucks either way, but worse if he actually was murdered. Do you agree, or do you think it's worse if he killed himself?

Tell me again, where exactly do the ORIGINAL versions appear and on what music label, and who was the producer? I wasnt quite clear on that. And with all due respect to Kurt's grandfather, it's very clear he's illiterate and has no idea what he's talking about, especially when drugs enter the conversation.
@Joshua-bo2ln dude, 2 weeks ago, I was in court on a probation violation, and there was a dude wearing a Nascar hat and a Nirvana shirt fighting a domestic violence charge. Kurt's head would explode if he saw what "nirvana fans" were up to these days.
Im assuming its because Joe Burns has been speaking the truth on what happened lately. Speaking on how he was there when kurt was murdered. Why else just peddle out old charles cross BS. Dylan carlson is a sociopath

I guess its safe to say if there wasn't any divorce, any bullying, any money, and no bleak environment there may have been no Nirvana.
*I have a very profound allergy to 'what-ifs'*
Add drugs, poverty, and women to that list, and you might not have any rock music ever.

All bands went through the same inter political shit with each other, music companies, management and the non stop travelling.
