Manual M3 owner here since April 2021: Would never trade it against the Auto ! I know the auto is faster, more torque and better for the track and so on. But the manual is basically the only thing left in modern cars which lets you feel connected somehow to the car...and getting the gears right, is it on normal driving or track, is just so rewarding ! Just LOVE it and a big THANKS to BMW for still providing us such a beast with MT

These cars need manuals, at least as an option. Wish the drop top offered a manual option.
All the advancements are creating the numbness, killing the cars soul. My R8 manual v10 is what all great cars should drive like. It’s a keeper.

Great review, and we all know a tune can get you all the extra power you need. Could always do a Carbahn tune and retain the factory warranty.
