Drawing Basics: Riveting Demonstration of How to Draw a Jug without Outlines: PART 2
HTML-код

- You can draw this pot, no problem. I'll take you through each step simply. This easy drawing tutorial is the second in my series on how to draw with Edges not Outlines. It takes the idea of drawing with edges a stage further to create the drawing of a jug, essentially a still life drawing. We we start with an outline drawing but use edges to create the 3D effect. By using edges and varying tone the final drawing can be achieved. It is important to establish where the light is coming from to ensure the light and shade is correct. All these elements are explained in the video.
This easy drawing tutorial is aimed at beginners and those wishing to improve their drawing skills.

Thank you, sir. My art teacher wants me to work on pencil shading. Usually i use hatching with ink and focus more on making my art look good through composition and keeping it busy looking. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Thank you Isaac, I'd listen to your art teacher if I was you. There are lots of ways of making your art 'look good'. Don't get stuck with one way. You have a great day too. Cheers Paul

That was a messy one :D my LYRA graphite-sticks are water soluble, maybe that's why.
That's not the problem. try resting your hand on a piece of paper when you are drawing. Cheers

3:33 But I thought we weren't supposed to do that!
There are no rules in art, see them more as guidelines. Well spotted, sometimes using an eraser can be a positive, the problem is many people use it too much and rub the life out of a drawing.
I am not getting any good 😣
Good is a relative term. You have to keep trying if you want be 'good'. Try your best, that's all you can do. Your 'best' drawing is much 'better' than most people's drawings. Feel proud of that. Cheers Paul
