@@vls1900 일본 오사카성 지붕 보시면 됨나다. 하지만 이런 나사로 이은 공장형 얇은 구리 플래이트 지붕이랑, 고급으로 장인들이 만든 전통 통구리 기와랑 다르죠.

동으로 기와를 만드는군요 와아 멋지네요 경복궁의 근정전 지붕도 처음 만들었을때는 청자 기와로 만들었다 합니다
기둥도 용무늬를 각인해 놔서 화려함의 극치였죠 하지만 안타깝게도 임진왜란때 선조로 몰래 도망가는걸 백성들이 알고 빡쳐서
경복궁을 불질러 버려 폐허로 있다가 흥선대원군이 지금의 근정전을 중건 했죠 아무튼간 흔흔하니 멋지네요

토기와보다 비쌉니다. 그리고 수명은 비교조차 안될 정도로 길어요. 동은 표면에 녹이 나면 최소 200년은 갑니다.
토기와는 의외로 깨지거나 약해지는 경우가 많아요.
@@tddgadsfdfdf 일본에서 동기와를 에도막부시대부터 좀 격있는 건물들에게 쓰기 시작했는데, 일단 구리도 산업용 금속치고는 단가가 굉장히 높아서 함부로 쓰기 쉽지 않습니다. 하물며 건물 지붕을 죄다 덮어버리려면...

나사못,이음걸쇠,지주대 등등 동이 가지지 못하는 것에서 세월이 흐르면 삭고 부서져 20-30년이 한계에 다다르게 될 것입니다.만드는 의도는 좋으나 여러 각도에서 100년이라도 보고 만들었으면 하는 아쉬움이 보여요 20년뒤 올수리 한다고 생각하면 동은 무르니 그곳에서 또 하자가 발생될 것인데...

Depends on the gauge of the copper and whether or not there is embossing/texture, but somewhere between $10 to $200 a sq.ft. plus labor. I'm a home designer and recently designed a roof for a client made of copper panels on top and slate shingles around sides. It was a little north of $500K for around 8,000 sq.ft.
I wonder why they couldn't make an automated system for putting the two pieces of roof tile and have it rivet it together?
As a common man i can't afford more than 1 copper utensils and on that roff made with copper what i say🙂

Yeah that's part of the natural appeal of Copper, the green oxide layer stays in place protecting the copper underneath and lasts sn extremely long time. It's fallen out of fashion in the west due to cost and we now use zinc alloy plating.
@@dc-4ever201 Well, Europe almost always used lead and other metals for roofs (southern Europe terracotta), and copper was always for the more prominent buildings. Its not really out of fashion.
