Those were some of FASTEST Bajas I've ever seen!! THEN THE 1/4 SCALE RAILS CAME OUT!!! Holy SHIT!!! That is some SERIOUS Badassness! I grew up in Brooklyn, and lived on LonGisland until 1997..... I can't BELIEVE I never heard of this before! 😱 Carmine 💥⛽
Great stuff.I race a 1/8 kyosho inferno. I've been racing cars nitro and electric for 20 years.a long time ago before brushless motors and lipo batteries, me and a few friends decided to build 1/10 scale electric dragsters.we scaled down a 1/10 quarter mile in my street.I built a Super Street type dragster from a Tamiya Nissan 350Z direct drive on road racing chasie.I added big foam wheels for the back, extended the chaise, added two extra cells to the old nicad packs,I also added a team Gator Oz charge 10 turn motor with the Tamiya gold hop up pinion gear.We got hold of a scale radar gun and my car was clocked at 90kmh and did scale 4 second passes. Those were the days.dumbest thing I did was sell that car.love your cars, keep up the great work.
I think its an amazing thing i love RCs and you guys are showing the love of the craft keep it up guys. and for those who are disliking what they do just leave them alone, no one told you to watch it.
it doesnt matter why these RC,s are running in a straight line. Some people have forgotten or failed to understand its about the joy of people coming together with the same interest and competition between man. we have done this for years as people.
The reason you can't see the burn-out is the same reason you can't read the LED display. C'mon now guys, this is 2015, you should understand cameras and frame rates by now. Cool video, looks like fun.
Wow Awesome cars! Had no idea 1/4 scale dragracing was happening. Looks like a lot of cash went into those cars. Looks like some very serious building and racing going on there. I like 1/10 scale SC, but what you guys are doing looks awesome, have fun!
That is very cool. A great sport and no gang bagging. This is what young men should be doing, Not selling drugs, Shooting up the streets. I see this as a way for young people to have an outlet that has sportsmanship, Fun and action. And ya gotta work son cause they aint cheep. Good for them and I hope to see more of this sport cropping up in the city's and even suburbs. SPLENO1 You got the game all wrong son, Those little cars are going a scale speed of over 300mph. Some folks are just stupid.
Jelousy maybe. Some of those cars are worth more than a real car. Also, people are nieve.I bet none of them have felt the joy of watching something you created either fly, drive, or even launching rockets.people think these things we have are toys.I shit you not, a look battery will explode if not used correctly. Also if one of my planes hit you it could kill you.these are not toys.so if you don't have anything good to say don't post your rubbish.
Looks like fun. I have a Super Gas car, but I could see doing this down in Florida. I hear they have an RC club at my community (don't get there often). What engines do they use? I used to drag race slot cars in the 80's and that was fun too.
Where can i read up on the rules and regs that these beasts have to conform to. Thinking of building something...outlandish, blown triple rotor sound good? Awesome racing, like the burnouts and the 4 sec run
I thought I had lived a full life. I was wrong. I NEED TO DO THIS!!! Where do you guys get the little dragster tires? What are you using for a clutch? What kind of engines? Do you have a gyro on steering? Ever think of putting a camera with FPV on there?
Kinda cool. I think the whole burn-out thing is a waste of time, though, as they don't look like they have enough torque to do any serious wheel spin. Not only that, there's no rubber deposit on the track to adhere to.
For my serpent I had tyre warmers. Of course it necessary to warm them up there are a lot of compounds en hard and softness types it's really pro. But nice cars:)
This is really cool I didn't know they had this where can I get one and where is it track close to me I live in San Antonio how much do they do they cost can you get these at a hobby shop
@JSprayaEntertainment traction is a big issue on a bike as u dont want to high side coz they hurt. My point is that real dragsters use special rubber compounds which need heating to get optimal grip, so do u use special rubber on the rc cars and does it make that much difference??
They do burnouts to warm the tires up so they stick to the concrete better and aren't wheel spinning the whole way and possibly losing control. It keeps the drag slicks from being too slick
Any idea where I could purchase the tree and time and software. we are an RC Track in South Jersey and I have been looking to purchase one to start a new club. Any help would be great. The Traxxas one just does not cut it.
@JSprayaEntertainment no I havent raced models for ages, now I do a little bike circuit racing on my ducati., so I got real experience racing. Are you gonna tell me why they spin their tires now??
I did electric 1 10th scale with northstar drags in mn.. miss getting out and doing that. I was number 6th fastest 10th scale in the world at One time in th late 90s early 2000
yea i used to race out there......... if u wanna get that place drive pass kings plaza like u going to hit the highway and its going to to see a opening on the left side you go in and go all the way in the back n ull see it
great video love it...!!!! all these haters need to watch shit they like instead of leaving there negative comments wasting there time like they feel these guys are wasting theirs.
I wish they had a dragstrip for rc's around me, those things are awesome! about what mph are they running? I'm a beginner in the nitro car scene I just got a little HPI Savage. Slow compared to these but fast for me...lol. Looks like a blast! p.s. to the guy who said black people are not into r/c cars, thats like saying white people arent into rap. how is it a race oriented sport? how is any hobby about the color of your skin? Keep up the cool vids man, I enjoy them!
Man I have no doubt that if you couldn't see the people in this video there wouldn't be any hate in the comments or down votes. it would be just like any other RC video... love and "mine would smoke them".
Look at those antennas there huge, some great racing love the dragster.
What a great thing you guys are upto.
Wish there was stuff like this happening here in the uk.
Respect to you all.
Keep on racing..

Interesting. I've never seen RC Dragsters before today. Thank You!
Really cool stuff. Those top-fuel models are the heat!!!
The reason you can't see the burn-out is the same reason you can't read the LED display. C'mon now guys, this is 2015, you should understand cameras and frame rates by now. Cool video, looks like fun.

That is very cool. A great sport and no gang bagging. This is what young men should be doing, Not selling drugs, Shooting up the streets. Got to love the fresh smell of rubber burning in the morning!
awsome I had no idea people were doing yhis kinda of RC racing amazing
Those 1/4 scales are awesome! Great vid
These things are awesome!
Very cool! Interesting that some of the rail cars have no exhaust expansion chambers.
enthusiasts getting together& share their hobby cool stuff
Look fun! Love that these are not electric!
Can anyone explain all the dislikes and bashing in the comments? This video is awesome!!!
Looks like a lot of fun!
This is awesome! Love it !
You are so cute
Looks like fun. I have a Super Gas car, but I could see doing this down in Florida. I hear they have an RC club at my community (don't get there often). What engines do they use? I used to drag race slot cars in the 80's and that was fun too.
The track is 330ft our cars run low 4sec passes at 80 mph.
Motors can make a little over 7-8 hp. 1/4 run about the same times but weigh about 40 lbs.
Looks like a lot of good clean fun.
Just for the hell of it, you guys need to mount on-board cameras. This is awesome.
wow. Nice hobby. Looks fun
it does,a top fuel dragster does 0-100 in about 1 second,A RC dragster just went 1.2 seconds at 100.4 mph in 132 feet,so yes it applies here too.
Sah weet! Looks like a blast. Good work on the RC's guys. Didn't realize Brooklyn had an abandoned airstrip though. ha ha Where is that at?
man u guys have some sick rides !
🚨 Great Video 🚨
Where can i read up on the rules and regs that these beasts have to conform to. Thinking of building something...outlandish, blown triple rotor sound good?

Uh… …*says slowly* yeah
Cool cars and video. Haters always gonna hate. That what they do.
Kinda cool. I think the whole burn-out thing is a waste of time, though, as they don't look like they have enough torque to do any serious wheel spin. Not only that, there's no rubber deposit on the track to adhere to.
I can't see the numbers! How fast are the running in the 1/4 or 1/8 mile? Very cool
check out 5:33 you can't see very well but it says 4.27 second pass 88mph I think it's 1/4 mile
@@leoozwow7234 thats impossible to run 4s on a 1/4 I dragrace a jr dragster and I run 1/8 bue these r.c cars prolly run a couple 100 ft
Prolly couple 100 fr
Coolest rc club in America!
Nice. Interesting that the 1/4 scale diggers are 12 grand. I know of a jr fuel car, TK, for about $25l large.
For my serpent I had tyre warmers. Of course it necessary to warm them up there are a lot of compounds en hard and softness types it's really pro. But nice cars:)
Never saw a video like that, great!
These are sweet!! Anyone got any times they run, or speed?? Looks fun
The crackle and pop of a good old reliable zenoah engine.
This is really cool I didn't know they had this where can I get one and where is it track close to me I live in San Antonio how much do they do they cost can you get these at a hobby shop
You sir are a genius!!
i thought this was going to be stupid but it was actually pretty cool what kind of times do these run?
my family drag races rail cars (real ones) this is fun too though
@JSprayaEntertainment traction is a big issue on a bike as u dont want to high side coz they hurt. My point is that real dragsters use special rubber compounds which need heating to get optimal grip, so do u use special rubber on the rc cars and does it make that much difference??
What distance are these things running? It seems like these things would smoke real cars in the 1/8th mile. Very cool.
Looks like fun to me! What are the average times and speeds for the rail cars?
Look like good fun !
vraiment cool ,très belle vidéo
i like it rc cars drag raceing
That's freaking sick there haulin ass
great,very cool
That's awesome!
They do burnouts to warm the tires up so they stick to the concrete better and aren't wheel spinning the whole way and possibly losing control. It keeps the drag slicks from being too slick
sounds like a day in the woods :D
This is awesome!
Very cool, rock on.
These are awesome
Any idea where I could purchase the tree and time and software. we are an RC Track in South Jersey and I have been looking to purchase one to start a new club. Any help would be great. The Traxxas one just does not cut it.
Swwweeeeet !! I love it, :-)
Looks like great fun!!! where do you get the rear tires I can make everything else
Who cares why they do it. Its something different and that alone makes it cool!
2020?
@JSprayaEntertainment no I havent raced models for ages, now I do a little bike circuit racing on my ducati., so I got real experience racing. Are you gonna tell me why they spin their tires now??
I did electric 1 10th scale with northstar drags in mn.. miss getting out and doing that. I was number 6th fastest 10th scale in the world at One time in th late 90s early 2000
You guys need to get tyre warmers
Seems like it would save you all heaps of time

Awesome. Anyone putting up prize money? Do you have any sponsors?
great video love it...!!!! all these haters need to watch shit they like instead of leaving there negative comments wasting there time like they feel these guys are wasting theirs.
Are 60-70 mph
Good stuff!!!
seems fun, but I don't know about the 2 strike noise... How about Briggs & Stratton engines ?? :)
Man I have no doubt that if you couldn't see the people in this video there wouldn't be any hate in the comments or down votes. it would be just like any other RC video... love and "mine would smoke them".
storm14k Sadly you're right.
This is pretty cool, has anybody marked top speed?
just spray some BELT GRIP on the rear tires for traction, works all the time , better than doing burnouts.
Really cool : )
good to know the guys at FBF are still at it
