Don’t know if you noticed but when they were talking about the „Pym“ particles in the beginning. The guy with the white hair was Tony Starks dad, Howard, (from Ironman) and the girl was Peggy (from Captain America). Together they formed SHIELD. Cheers

I dont know if you guys noticed, but when Scott fell on top of that car, the actor inside was "Garrett Morris," from the old SNL veterans.

"My days of breaking into places and stealing shit are over! What do you need me to do?"
"...I want you to break into a place and steal some shit."
    "...makes sense."
Fun Fact: Abby Ryder Fortson's second theatrical movie.
Stan Lee Cameo Fact: Stan "The Man" Lee is the "crazy stupid fine" bartender.
Casting Notes Fact: John Slattery returns as Howard Stark from Iron Man 2 (2010). Anthony Mackie and Michael Peña both starred in Million Dollar Baby (2004).
Location Location Fact: The Pym Tech building Lobby Interiors were filmed at the Hall of Records in Atlanta. Some of the scenes were filmed in San Francisco, but the set work was shot at the new Pinewood Studios in Atlanta GA.
Art Before Ego Fact: Paul Rudd worked on rewrites with Adam McKay. Michael Peña and Evangeline Lilly have said in interviews that many of the actors were consulted on their characters during the rewrite, which resulted in expanded roles.
Lost In Adaptation Fact: Yellowjacket (Corey Stoll) in this film is a combination of Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) villains Yellowjacket (a mentally unstable alter ego of Pym), Darren Cross (a villainous businessman and enemy of Scott Lang) and Eric O'Grady (an amoral and selfish person with Pym tech who also was the fourth Ant-Man). In the comics, Hank Pym created Ultron.

When Ant-Man was in theaters I missed this movie. It was such a small movie I couldn't see it.
When Darren Cross reveals there was an Ant-Man he says, "Tales that astonish." That was the comic book series from Marvel that introduced Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Ant-Man's first appearance was Tales to Astonish #27 (January 1962) and then first appeared in costume in Tales to Astonish #35 (September 1962). Janet first appeared in Tales to Astonish #44 (June 1963). Ant-Man and the Wasp were founding members of the Avengers (Avengers #1 September 1963).

Yes, on that side, it's better. It's still cut in the middle of sentences, though, but I'm sure it will improve.

I'll be honest: I didn't like the comic book.
Further, most comic book artists didn't like drawing Ant-Man stories because they had to spend extra panels showing him changing size, which left fewer panels for telling the story.
So when there were stories about trouble with production (e.g. delayed, changing directors, etc), I was convinced this would be Marvel's first dud. I was so happy to be proved wrong.
Hope Van Dyne is a character created for the movie. She turned the story into a story about two fathers with troubled relationships with their daughters.
Janet Van Dyne was an original member of the Avengers in the comic books, and is much-beloved by comics book fans because she has some fun character flaws, which sadly they did not include in the movie version. In the comics, she's not a scientist, but a wealthy socialite. Imagine a fame-obsessed Paris Hilton, but with strong morals, and a Leroy Jenkins-like tendency to be recklessly aggressive, to start fights before she even knows what's going on.

The part where the ants stop the hammer of the gun from firing is a mistake. Darren is holding a Glock 17 which has no hammer. So they had to cut, insert a different gun and keep going 🤣 loving the Marvel journey, keep it coming 😁
