This lens is the only thing I was missing in my X-T5 system from my film days...12mm equiv. SO glad Fuji provided this solution for those of us who adopted the 10-24 immediately and then wouldn't go for the 8-16 due to size weight and focal length overlap. This will go on my other body with the 10-24 on the other for most travel work.
If they really make an X-E5, the 8mm will never leave that camera!
I saw one idiot complaining that it wasn't image stabilized. I hope they don't let them buy ANY more lenses. They don't deserve them.
Sounds like this lens will fit in perfectly with your setup. Haha, I love that too. So someone said no image stabilisation, brilliant. A lens this wide could shoot on a roller coaster without camera shake 🤭
