Kept it short but i feel like i left out a lot of information out, so let me know if you guys have any questions!
Ladybass well hello x
Ladybass what line do you use on your med hvy fast rods?
On my all purpose i run 30lb power pro super 8 slick v2 to a 12lb leader if needed, on my jig rod i now run 50lb power pro in onyx
Ladybass thanks for the info. Do you still use braid for spinnerbaits?
Yes, still braid to a fluorocarbon leader for everything other then crankbaits
Congrats 🎉 on being sponsored by shimano - not easy - congratulations 🍾
Banyak sekali peralatan pancingnya...
My favourite combo that I own would be my jig-setup with a Daiwa Steez SV TW HSL paired with the Gunki Iron-T Chooten C 210ML 5-18(25)g rod. Close second is the dropshot setup with a Shimano Vanquish 16 2500s FA and a Gunki Iron-T Chooten S 228ML 5-18(25)g rod. Depends on what the fish are biting on.
Wicked set ups👌🏼
Love the channel, and the combos! Keep up the good work!
My favourite combo is the Shimano Slx with the shimano raider
Right on👍🏼
An all Shimano rod and reel review??? Yes please ✅
Honestly my favourite combo I got is my cheapest one it’s a Diiawa Laguna with a quantum accurist rod
👍🏼👍🏼
Shimano has some crazy good reels. Waiting on my Curado K DC!
Nice video!
My most used is my 6'8" Med light Zodias 1000 Stradic ci4+.
My second most used ared tied 6'10" med SLX 151 & 7' med Zodias Stradic ci4+
Thats a fun set up!
Great video, you really explained why you picked a certain rod to each and every job. You covered the subject better than any other RUclipsr that has done a simmular video.
Some great gear you go girl. Much respect.
Hey Lasybass! I really enjoy all your videos!! Shimano reels are my favorite!!
This is a very educational video for everyone! Pros and beginners! Thank you so much for this!!!
We are impressed with the knowledge of your fishing set ups.
I think I only have 2 - 7ft M spinning combos 10lb 832 and 4 - 7 1/2 MH baitcasting combos 30lb 832... they cover all of my needs and all of my species that I fish for
I have a similar set up but where I fish I have never needed a heavy action rod 🤷
Love the rods of choice. I own nothing but zodias rods and I just love them and for the price you can't beat it. I'm either pairing my rods with the Curado K or the Curado 70s. Both solid reels!
shakespeare 7ft light action rod with a cygnus 2500-B daiwa 6lb pound spider wire mono for small and big mouth bass along with 19'' plus rainbow's I love the fight and natural bait presentation.
I have two of the Zodias rods, a 7’8” extra heavy and a 7’2” medium heavy. They are great! I use shimano and Dobyns Rods.
Awesome!!
What knot do u use to go braid to floro
I hope next time i can have it but... Hiks hiks
Could you do a video on your choice of rod sleeves and sizes for your arsenal?
They are all just the standard rod gloves!
My favorite combo is one of my least expensive set ups actually, 7 foot 3 heavy Dobyns fury and a cainan. Love it for swim jigs and Chatterbait
Thats a sweet set up!
Next lets see your lure arsenal!
My most used combo is a Daiwa Luvias 2500H paired to a Cajun Custom Rods Delta medium power full handle spinning rod.
Beautiful Video Congratulations friend! *hug!* 👍🎣
Good Job, on explanations and what you use them for! Keep up the good work
Kickass content! Keep on.
I love my Exage 7' Medium spinning rod!
g.loomis e6x 854 and curado K fire and i love my zodias
Nice setups. Good luck out in the water.
I have the 7'2" Zodias Heavy Action rod for jigs and I have the 7'2" MH Shimano Compre for worms and jigs teamed up with the Shimano Citica. It's MONEY!
i like that bantam combo you have there.
my fav combo , omen 7'1 mh , chronarch mgl hg , 15 lb p-line cx. i use it for worms/senkos.
Awesome!
My most used combo is a revo premier with a falcon lowrider 7 foot heavy
I own a abu garcia Pro max bait caster paired with 50 braid.also i have a Okuma sst spinning combo with 12 pound mono, im really into pike fishing and i love bait casters, but i dont want something too cheap, probably around 200 dollars, what would you recommend.
Id definitely go with a 7ft -7’5 medium heavy rod, with a 150 or 200 size reel! Check out the new SLX combo, the rod and reel. There should be some sweet deals on them soon! They retail $100 usd each, so right at $200 for both
Wow that is an awesome setup.
I love all these videos. They make me feel like nothing else matters in life but fishing lol
Great arsenal, keep up the great wirk😃👊
Nice gear, I have five rods but they do me well.
Great video and rigs
My favorite combo for now is a Shimano Chornarch MGL with a 6'6 Medium Carbonlite. I fish for peacock bass down here in Puerto Rico. My friend bought a Bantam and let me use it a bit... its an awesome reel! Yes, its heavy compared to my Chronarch MGL but somehow it doesn't actually feel that heavy. I think it has to do with the profile, really small reel... close to my Curado 71. Makes me want to buy one XD. I used mostly Daiwa reels but I am slowly changing my gear to Shimano. Can't wait for the Curado DC! Love your rod and reel Arsenal!
Thats awesome!
Nice, well thought out arsenal! Power Pro original or slick is very good--I've tried a few other brands for sure--went back to PP original. :)
✊🏾✊🏾
Are u planning to get the shimano curado DC?
Iv been using one for the last 3 days, its sick!
My most used combo is my 7' MH fast Diawa Tatulla with a Daiwa tatula 100 TWS reel this set up has got me so many fish, if I were to break it one day I would cry and then I'd hang it on my wall LOL
Litty combos 🔥
Are you sponsored by shimano?
Love the vid!
With your jerkbait setup what’s the reason for the 30lb braid when running light leader? With a lighter braid you’d be able to get a bit more casting distance
Lighter braid is less manageable and digs in on it self too much
Hey! Love your videos. Thanks for making them. Got a question. If you had to choose one spin cast rod and reel for bass fishing, which would you choose? Thanks. Jeff
i wonder if shimano like their rods being called flimsy...??
If ur fishing a lake you’ve never fished before what’s the first thing you do?
Google the lake! Find info, and a map
how did you get shimano to sponsor you? great videos!
Awesome set ups👍👍👍👍 what knot do you use for your leaders and also how lon5!x pf
Modified alberto
Have you tried any daiwa reels? CT, sw, so smooth
Yes i have
What do you prefer soft plastic or hard plastic baits
Why do you use 65lbsBraid? I think that is major overkill for bass fishing. The heavyist I use is 30lbs and i toss it in really heavy slop and never have a problem.
I use Shimano spinning gear. I have a Shimano Sedona 2500 reel on a 6foot6 Solara rod MF. But I am in love with my Lews Tournement MB Baitcasting reel on my 7foot1 St.Croix medium heavy fast action rod. for the price it's the best on the market in my opinion.
More abrasion resistance!
Cool, I don't tend to fish heavy cover alot guess that is why I haven't noticed a problem. I fish Lake scugog and Simcoe. Mostly with soft plastics and squarebill crankbaits.
Good video
Hopefully u can tell market price...
Ordered up expride composite to put my bantam on, what type of hook keeper do you like? Favorite drop shot is my Daiwa Tatula 3000SS have it on 7ft MF St Croix Avid X.
I use the ez keeper
New sub I like videos shimano is the best to me
Shimano and dobyns is the only rods you need
How do you get the money for these
Growing up I have only used spinning rods. Lately I have been considering a baitcast set up. Do you think it's worth picking one up?
Yes, game changer. Really opens up a lot of opportunities
Nice combos. What knot do you use for braid to leader
The modified alberto knot!
Did u mean to say the jerkbait rod was 6’10 or is it 7’10
6’10
also is the citica worth the extra 50 bucks over the casitas
Yeah, better brakes plus hagane gearing and x-ship technology but if you're going to shell out another 50 bucks I'd check Ebay and get a Curado K, it isn't hard to find them for around 150 bucks and sometimes they're even cheaper. I've also picked up a couple of Citicas for 115-120 bucks as well. But anyway yeah, they're worth the extra money.
Are you still getting that centerpin?
Eventually!
I went from 6 rods down to 1-2 these days. for the past couple years I've been using 3 foot rods like the Daiwa Shorty. Can cast that thing sitting cross legged, ducking under a tree if I want to lol. # BankFishingLife Not sure what my favorite combo is. My 15 year old 4000 size Shimano spinning reel has been on probably a half dozen rods.
OMG!!!!
Quick question, how do you set up your reel for pitching? I've watched other videos and people usually have different opinions. Just wondered how you set up (or even maybe do a video yourself). I've tried pitching myself and can't seem to get the hang of it
I set my spool tension knob a bit more loose then if i was to cast a bait - this helps your bait fall down straight and not pendulum. I flip with a curado k so i have 2 breaks on and im set at 1 or 2. Set your drag t max and you should be good!
Wow not many people know how to check the action of a rod on the floor.
Im standing on gravel
hiii,i,m from cuba,i would like to buy a baitcasting reel, but in my country is imposible,i have some reel for spinning and surf casting but bait casting don,t ,if you be so kind to help me,thanks..my name is andres
Why braid on everything ? Jerbaits crankbaits etc IMO should be straight flouro
Cranks are straight fluro. Braid is easier to manage, casts further, lasts longer, and has more sensitivity
Ladybass to each is own. For maximum bait action. Jerkbaits etc should be straight flouro
Dustin DeSimone yea I throw straight flouro on cranks and jerk baits
I love that Shimano supports you but wouldn't the Googans. Lol
RUclips recommended your video I was like when did I sub to her but here I am watching this video after watching Jon b on RUclips lol if this video is good I’ll check out more n subb
I sure thought I seen you using a GLoomis Rod
Nice video i am glad to see a girl on youtube!!! way cool keep it up.
Dem legs
HT Fishing that gap tho..
Did you mean 6 foot 10 for the jerkbait rod lol
Pozdrawiam :)
When you said said favorite rods I thought you meant Favorite brand rods lol. Almost clicked away. Glad I didn’t though, great video
4:57 haha that's what she said !😂
Too everyone that is just a regular fisherman seriously don’t worry about videos like this you don’t need all that crap for every little technique to catch fish! Unless you are sponsored by a company then obviously use whatever they send you and run with it but you really don’t need 10+ rods thats just stupid.
PS. Buy yourselves a good Lews set up it’ll serve its purpose and last way longer than any shitimano
