Thanks for the lure tips. For the first little smallie you caught this day, I would have kept in the water to prevent the risk of worsening the hook injury. My experience is when small fish that come in quickly and lifted out of the water will shake madly causing hook tear.

The summer grind is on for sure. Sometimes drop shot or Ned rig can save a blank. I fish the 3.5 or 4 inch swimbaits a LOT. Love them for pike and bass.

Get yourself some Mend-it and fix your torn soft plastics right up. I personally use and it's great. Highly recommended

Love those Megabass Spark shads, but they definitely don’t last more than a few fish. Get some Mend-it lure glue and you’ll be able to fix them enough to get a few more out of them. Love your videos!

Love your videos only been subscribed for a week but haven't missed one since I've used a similar bait like that & found that I've had to set the hook really hard to get it to hold em good hope that helps keep it up
