I always think about using the cut away for an extra block. Every time we have to cut away corners I remember once when you showed us how to make a matching pillow or a bonus border from the excess. Thank you Donna, Matt and son.

Fantastic quilt. If anyone looks that closely at imperfection, that's their problem, not yours. I binge watch your uploads weekly. Nice to have your life partner, with a very good eye in fabric choices along with you. Can't wait to order this pattern. Donna, both you and Matt have an exceptional ability to match colours and coordinating fabric. When Donna first chose the border fabric I did not think I would like them for the quilt but of course I WAS WRONG 😲. The finished quilt is exquisite 🙌🏽. I definitely will be making that one.

One of my favorite dragonfly design lines ever! Great to see it used so wonderfully, I tend to hoard mine. I have to agree with so many other posters--you are an incredible teacher, so much detail! And I always love a shortcut.
Matt has quite an eye for color and print matching, too. Maybe he could do a video on color ways that would help some of us make better choices.
This is so pretty! I have been seeing the dragonfly fabric but thought it was a bit too busy. But in this pattern with the black breaking things up it .looks amazing! Great job as always. Thank you Donna and Matt for another great tutorial!
I have been drooling over this dragonfly strip set since I first saw it but have too many quilts in progress right now. Hopefully it won't be all sold out before I can order them. Personal preference, I will select an outside border that matches one of the fabrics selected in the patchwork. . None the less, the quilt is beautiful.
