And sometimes the volume is just not enough to really practice the lift and some people tweak their back cuz they can ramp up the weight quickly but they are just not ready for it yet...
That’s the problem with deadlift programming in the NLP. One top set of 5 once every 5-7 days will not be enough practice to get good at the technical aspect of the lift. But on the other hand, I guess the first few weeks of deadlifting 3 times a week helps ingrain the movement pattern. So it depends. If you didn’t start the program deadlifting every training day, which was a mistake that I made, it could make the deadlift lag behind for a long time
