Thanks for the review. I've stayed in caravans three times at Haven, although only once in a bronze. My biggest gripe is how often the previous occupants don't bother to wash up properly and just cram dirty stuff, or half washed up stuff into the cupboards and drawers. One time they even nicked a load of stuff that I had to get replaced. I don't necessarily blame the cleaning staff but they should at the very least give it the once over.
It's such a shame that some people can't leave them clean and tiny, it would make it so much easier for the cleaner. We always try and leave it as we found it.
Yes, we really enjoyed Church Farm and will be going back again this year. Its a smaller park, but the staff were lovely and the area is great for nature. I have a video on it in the Haven playlist if you want to know more. 🙂
Every year, new things seem to be standard, double glazing, radiators, bluetooth speakers, etc. are now in all the newer caravans. I remember the caravans when I was younger, you were lucky if the front door fit correctly without gaps and you had a separate seating area for the table 🙂

Just watched this video before my trip at the end of the month to Haven Skegness, so nice to see what to expect! We’ve booked a Bronze caravan but I can’t seem to find any information about where I am meant to put a travel cot?? For context we’re travelling 2 adults 1 - 5 year old and 1 - 18 month old.. would like them in the same room but not sure if you can request for one or the single beds to be removed? I haven’t stopped in a caravan since I was little and I have contacted haven but not heard anything back 😩 not sure if you’ll know anything regarding this? x
In some of the two bed bronze you could put the cot at the end of the master bed, I think a lot of people put them in the living room. I've not heard of Haven removing a bed, but I have seen people stack one on top of the other if neither are being used.
It depends on the activity. Swimming and some kids' activities are free (but need to be pre-booked). Most of the sports activities have an extra charge.
I believe that is correct, none of the caravans we have stayed in have had their own WiFi. However, if you're near the main facilities, sometimes theirs is strong enough to work in your caravan.

That's such a shame. I think 95% of our Haven caravans have always been really clean. We always re-wash plates, cups, and cutlery regardless of how clean they look. I think that is just habit now.
@KarionTravelling I think you should go on tripadvisor before saying at least 95% if you all do the plates and everything as habbit surly with that it should be 100% not fair on the 5% to walk into mess haven staff haven't or cant be bothered to clean as we travelled as 2 family's in 2 caravans they were both dirty the member of staff that came to look at the caravan was lovely and also said it was filthy herself we witnessed members of cleaning staff just sat in the caravan on their phone and the next person that went in had to complain because it wasn't clean cleanliness comes up on every site we have looked at definitely something that needs major improvements
Do you mean the entertainment pass to access the main facilties? It depends on the park and time of year. If you're renting privately, you will need to contact the owner as the prices vary.
If you buy direct from Haven, they come included (unless you choose a hideaway break). If it's a private rental, the owner will have more information on passes. Generally, they are most expensive during the summer/school holidays.
Hi thank you, sorry I don't know for certain, but I haven't seen any like that during our visits. I would give the park you're going to a call and ask. Most of the caravans we have seen that have decking have patio style furniture - but they could be owner vans.
We've been very lucky with our caravan and not had a dirty one yet - until our last visit and we arrived to find out van hadn't been cleaned, but Haven were fab and had organised a new one before I got back to reception.
Great video! Myself and some family are visiting primrose valley this year and we have gone for a haven bronze pet friendly caravan. Do you know if bedding is provided for the sofa bed is there a vacuum available to use? My dog is an akita and sheds alot so will need to vacuum regularly. Also is there a TV in the double bedroom aswell as the living area?
Bedding will be provided as long as they know you'll be using it, it's often in one of the wardrobes. I've never seen a hoover in any of the caravans, I'm not sure if you would be able to request to borrow one from reception - but we always take our own Dyson stick. Some of the bronzes have had TVs in the main bedroom, but some haven't, so it's a bit of pot luck. I hope you have a great time, we now usually book bronze because they are really nice, but not too expensive.
There is a good Facebook group called Haven Holidays (currently has 71k members), you could ask about the park your visiting to get people's reviews. In general I take my own sharp 🔪 and ✂️ and trays for cooking. The onsite fish and chip shops tend to be hit and miss. Swimming tends to be quiet early afternoon. I hope you have a great holiday. 😊
That's fab, I'm glad it was useful. I hope you have a good time at the Orchards, we've been there and enjoyed it. The bronze vans are lovely and I would definitely recommend them.

It will depend on the park and the caravan. Most of the parks I have been to I have been able to park at least one car next to my van. But a couple I have had to park a short way off in a parking bay.
All the Haven owned bronze we have stayed in this year have been like this, but I know they can vary slightly by park and model. But this should give you a good idea of what to expect 😊
I don't generally tend to go peak season because it's too busy and too expensive - but I know they often have extra entertainment on during the busiest weeks. The bigger parks are show parks and their entertainment teams do most of the daily shows, the smaller parks have a lot more visiting acts which could be a singer or a magician for example.
@@KarionTravelling while you were at church farm what sort of things did they have in the day for children this time of the year as if I took them there I could still get them to school as per your tip x

Hiya. I liked your review. Clear and detailed. Can you just confirm the "bronze" definitely has a master en-suite? My partner has booked a bronze for June 23 and she was under the impression it didn't have the en-suite. Thanks in advance. PS. Your wee girl hiding in the shower cubicle with you was so cute!! Ian and Laura
Thank you. ☺️. No, not all of them do. We've found all our two bed ones have so far, but not all of the three beds. It varies from manufacturer and park. If that is something you really want it might be worth contacting the park, asking them to check and then picking your van - it costs a little more but may be worth it if an en suite is important. I hope you have a fantastic holiday.
It may have been an owner bronze, or you could have been given an upgrade to silver. They do vary a bit, but dishwashers aren't a standard feature of a bronze caravan. 😊
At 1:40 you said there was free WiFi in the caravan? Is that true? I’ve stayed at greenacres quite a few times and haven’t seen any WiFi networks available except in the clubhouse. How did you find it, if you don’t mind me asking? Did you have to ask in the office about it?
There is free WiFi if you're close to the main facilities, but it doesn't currently reach all caravans. It was a bit patchy in the evening when everyone was trying to use it, but not too bad early morning.

All the Haven owned bronze we have stayed in this year have been like this, but I know they can vary slightly by park and model. But this should give you a good idea of what to expect 😊
Hi are towels provided ? Xx
Not in the saver or bronze models no, you need to take your own. 🙂
How do you find entertainment on these parks compares with peak and off peak season thanks
@@sunstar5950 there was a morning kids show and possible meet and greet, but not much apart from paid activities and swimming. I don't think the kids would miss much by going to school and we managed to fit everything in during the evenings. 😊
@@KarionTravelling think I'll look into that one thanks 👍
@@sunstar5950 they had some brilliant deals March and October time because its beginning and end of season, or try the last minute deal finder - there can be some good deals if you're available at short notice. 😊 I'm currently editing the Church Farm vlog which will give you an idea of what it's like there.
Hiya I'm at Reighton sands in the winter, I was just wondering if you fancied doing a saver caravan tour of mine Please 🙏
Hi, sorry I'm nowhere near Reighton Sands, is your saver van very different?
Have you stayed in any 3bed bronze
Yes, the master bedroom is usually a little smaller and you don't always get a second toilet. But the living room/ kitchen is usually the same.
hi i booked a deluxe caravan but after sometime on the detail i see they change it to bronze, why is that?
At the end of last year they renamed all the caravan grades, deluxe/prestige is now a bronze. I think this caravan was nicer than deluxe we have stayed in before.
??/ But I had a dishwasher in mine, also a tv in main bedroom - was that bronze ??
Where is this ?
This caravan was in Church Farm, but they should all be fairly similar.
Hi can you barbecue at Riviera sands thank you
I did see some disposable bbqs outside caravans, so I believe so, but I would give the park a call just to double check. 😊
❤
👍
Not trying to brag but I've got a gold caravan I think
Did you get a surprise upgrade? Is it a lot better than bronze?
this is not to do with the caravan, but you seem like such a great person. good vibes
Thank you very much, that's sweet of you to say. ❤
Is Haven park donating to campaigns to ignore rental raises to remove the elderly and people on fixed incomes?
Sorry I have no idea, you'll have to contact their head office.
