You're very welcome. I'm glad you found it useful. The saver caravans are great if you don't need lots of space, but you want somewhere cheap and cheerful.
I would be very happy with this ,very good quality,considering it,s classed as a saver.
They're great for a couple, or family with small children. We found them a little bit of a squeeze with three adults and a child, but they're modern and warm, and I would happily stay in one again. 😊

We found they were fine for two adults and young children. I think six adults/older children would be very squashed. If you're just using it as a base or you have play passes and only really use it for bed, it's a great budget option, and then you can spend the saved money on a kids' activity. 🙂

Thank you for sharing I booked for myself and my family to go in April next year and booked a saver caravan this has really put my mind at ease how nice it looks
They are really nice. I found them a little bit small for us as a grown up family of chunky monkeys for longer than a few days, but they were fine for a weekend. 😊

You're welcome. The savers are a brilliant value option. We usually book bronze now, but I would happily stay in a saver again. They're a bit cramped for four adults, but great for families with young children.

Great Review, we were thinking of one of these at Perransands Cornwall, its just us two (kids are now grown up) many happy holidays there, going too do the hideaway option, so really it's just a base for us, and don't mind cooking 👌🏻
This would be ideal, cheap and cheerful. We found it a little snug as a family, but there is plenty of room for two people. I hope you have a lovely time.
We stayed in a saver at church farm and loved it. There's 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children) and it was big enough for all of us. We would book a saver again.

I used to take my family to haven and parkdean resorts at Great Yarmouth via the Sun newspaper promotions. Lovely relaxing holidays. These caravans are so compact but very comfortable. I miss these holidays.
We stay at a lot of Haven and Parkdean resorts, I'm trying to work my way round them all and all of the different types of accommodation. You should definitely try another staycation if you can 🙂

I hope you have a lovely time in Hayle - the beach is gorgeous, just the trek back up with all your beach stuff is a bit of a killer on the old legs.
We found the savers are fine for breaks when you won't be in them much, and some of the savers are the older deluxe, which are a bit bigger. 😉

Recently returned from a fab £69 4 night stay at Combe Haven!
The saver caravan was superb. I'm wondering if it was an upgrade!
The entertainment was so varied & so much fun & the swimming pool was lovely & warm, so highly recommended another stay for you all! Love Hayley x
Funnily enough, we were looking at Combe Haven again the other week. I want to go in the warmer months so we can try out the space bowl slide.

@Hayley-dm2je I look at the five year olds going up with no fear and my legs are shaking from just climbing the stairs.
@@KarionTravelling Aww hahaha... I wouldn't even be able to climb those stairs. The thought fills me with trepidation. hehe. The slide used to be higher, but they had to lower it.
@Hayley-dm2je I went on the slide at Rockley Park and it was faster than I expected, I shot out the end like a cannon ball. 😅

Saver caravans have come a long way since I first stayed in one about 15 years ago.
Apparently all the latest models will have central heating in as standard.
On a side note,Haven are opening a new site next year. It's near Skegness in Lincolnshire.
Absolutely, we stayed in one years ago and it was cold, very basic and a bit down trodden. Now they are just as good as the bronze, just smaller.

There’s a huge difference between that and the Bronze vans. We have a bronze fully accessible booked for September
I will always book bronze now, I think the saver are just a little too small for us - but we do like to spread out a bit 😊

We booked Hayle Cornwall for end of month, thanks for showing us what to expect, we stayed at The John Fowler caravan St Ives last year so we said we'd have a look around this year and most likely make this a yearly event.

You're welcome, I know they differ slightly from manufacturers, but this should give you a good idea. I'm currently editing a video on Riviere Sands from our recent video. It was lovely, I would happily go back, just a shame it's so far from me.
Nice review - I thought Saver caravans didnt have central heating, but a fire instead
I think it depends on the model and the age of the caravan. We've stayed in some older ones with only a fire in the living room and a brand new one with lots of radiators everywhere.

It looks very nice. I'm trying one out locally in April, just me and my pugs. Should be fine for us. If we like it we'll go further afield next time.
That's a lovely way to test them. And if you find they are a little tight, you can upgrade next time. I like that Haven is fairly standard - what you get at one site is usually what you'll get at another site if you book the same grade.

I stayed in a bottom tier caravan at Haven a few years back, at the time it was called 'Standard'. It was fine, except the TV in the lounge was mounted on the wall about 6 feet off the ground. I went home with a pain in my neck. What idiot thought that was a bright idea? Anyway, the caravan in this video seems much nicer.
I think the new savers are nicer than the old standards. I prefer the bronze cravans, just for the extra storage and space, but the savers are lovely for a cheap break away.
@@KarionTravelling I usually stay in Silver/Prestige caravans at Haven, I do have an upcoming short break booked for a Bronze caravan though.

No never. In the last few months I've started checking the mattresses before I unpack, but we've never had bugs or fleas.

Just booked a saver caravan for next year. Do you think it will be big enough for two adults and one five year old?
Yes, we stayed in a saver caravan recently (two adults and a five year) and it was OK. I don't think the twin room is ideal for adults as it's very short - but this probably won't effect you, and neither will limited storage space for six people. I hope you have a lovely break away.

Yes, the utensils, cutlery and crockery you see is all provided by Haven. We didn't have any bugs, but I know some people have had problems.

Hey! Great video as always, We are currently booked in to a Saver at Greenacres. Would an upgrade to Bronze be worth it? 2 Adults 2 Children. Thanks 😁 x
We found the savers a big snug, but I think it depends on how long you plan to stay in the caravan and how long you're staying for. We had passes and were there for a weekend, so it was just someone to sleep. But if the price isn't too much more expensive I would definitely consider upgrading. Bronze are my favourite 😊

Can you tell me if the sofa pulls out too make a sofa bed in the saver caravan at craig tara site?
Also is there a freezer at all in these?

Sorry I can't say for sure as they can differ from park to park slightly, and some of the newer caravans only sleep 4 (meaning it may not have a sofa bed). We've usually had a freezer box in the fridge rather than a full freezer.

Sorry I've not been to Mablethorpes yet, but the saver caravans should all be very similar in layout.

We have booked the same one for July do they have WiFi am sure they do
I think it depends on how close you are to the main facilities, and if you can log in to their WiFi, i haven't seen any with in-caravan WiFi yet, but I've heard rumours it's coming (and very likely to be extra/chargeable).
Hey would a saver Carvan fit a travel cot in the main bedroom ?
Depends on the model, but generally, I would say no. Especially in the three bed caravans.

I think most parks have the choose your holiday home option if you have booked direct. If you log in to your online account, there should be the option to pick where you would like to stay, the price, and also if you wanted to upgrade, how much that will be too.
Would you say the main bedroom has enough space for a travel cot?
No, not in all of them. You might be OK if you have movable bedside tables, but some are screwed on, so you can't move the bed over. We've stacked one of the twin beds on top of the other and put a cot in the twin room - but that's no good if you're using one of the beds.

Have you got a tour for one at doniford (saver) ?
This should be a typical saver across Haven parks, I asked for a Haven fleet caravan especially (rather than an owners one). This should give you an idea of what to expect, but a few details might be different. The savers I have stayed in have all had the oven opposite the kitchen and the bathroom opposite the main door. 😊

Do you know what time check in is for the bronze
It's all different now. Check in time used to be by caravan grade, now you'll find out a week before and it could be anywhere between 1-6pm. I have seen a couple of people had 7-8pm check ins, but I think that is very rare.

I've only seen the late, late check ins during peak summer. I think the latest we've had was 4-5pm and even then we got in at about 3.30. But we don't usually go peak season.
